This was so stupid! Von thought to herself as she shifted the back pack of camping supplies. Sure she loved to camp, but the idea that all her friends believed in ghost, or demons, or hell knew what else was so irritating. She'd camped her with her family for years... Well not exactly where she was now, but in the woods just in different places. The sun was already setting when Von found what would make a good camp site. With a heavy sigh she dropped her bag onto the ground. A few drops of sweat had formed on her brow from the trek to this place. Her hair was slightly knotted but she didn't care.

Von bent down next to her pack and began fishing out everything she needed right then and there. The first thing was the tent, then she could focus on other bits. Locating the tent in her bag was easy, putting it together was hard and took her into early night. With the tent pitched her lanter lit and sleeping bag laid out half way out of the tent things were starting to look more like a camp site. Von grabbed the baggy of gram crackers from her bag and laid down staring at the stars. "It's a waste of time to go hunting for the surpernatural but at least it's a good time to camp." Von mumbled to herself, enjoy the quiet bliss of the night.

It was a fool moon, the noises of the forest silent. Well silent accept for the woodland creatures that come out hunting in the night. Standing over the hill of the forest two figures appeared, one Woman in black robes adorning long lavender colored hair, another a smart grey suit, bearing horn rimmed glasses. He had dark hair, and a slim but well built body. The two figures were looking down at the fire. The black haired one stared down a the fire eagerly. His eyes tracing every detail of the girl who also has black hair.
"Your part of the Veil, part of the world in the shadows. With that there comes certain responsiblities. Do you know what those are?" Spoke the purple haired figure.

"Yes Mistress Lynette. Feed with out disruption without death, and never betray the existence of our timeless breathern." The black haired man responded.
"Exactly Micah, And tonight will be the first night where you'll be taking on the responsibilties of a fully fledged vampire..." Lynette nodded. It was only six months ago since Micah was embraced as a vampire. During those six months Micah had to learn the customs and techniques befitting of one of their kind. Be it magics which hide his presence or etiquette among the clans. After months of learning. Micah was finally ready to join vampire society, but before doing that he must take one final test to prove that he was suited for the responsibilities of one for his station.
"Are you ready?"
"As ready as I'll ever by my dear mistress." Micah said with an eager smile. Lynette smiled inwardly. Ah such was the behavior of new immortals.

Micah closed his eyes. Muttering in a long lost language forgotten by man but known by his vampiric brothers and sisters. The clouds darkened and mist began to surround the forest. It was almost ready. Micah first hunt as a vampire.
"Remember Micah feed without killing, and when modifying memories. Do it without leaving inconsistencies." Lynette said with a rather commanding tone in her voice. Micah nodded, descending slowly on to the encampment. His thoughts working furiously as he began to see which figure he should feed on. This was going to be a rather interesting night.
