Light footsteps echoed off the tile floor that hadn't beed mopped in years. It was the basement floor of the English building of one of the most selective and private colleges. Korrine Pines had been summoned to room 069 in this building and she wasn't sure why. She'd heard rumors that you were summoned to this floor when you were in serious trouble. Kor, as her friends called her, wasn't the type to get in trouble. In fact the worst thing she could think of that she'd done in her time here was buying a term paper. She'd been so swamped with all her classes she asked her room mate to do her three page paper for history. She'd given her room mate fifty dollars and she figured it would never get out. Kor's fingers tugged and twisted the hem of her light blue t-shirt as she continued walking down the hall. She felt lost like she'd never find the room, yet as she rounded another corner she saw the awful room number.
Kor's face flushed with embarrassment and worry as she turned the handle to the door. Her hands wouldn't stop shaking and their was a lump in her throat that refused to go away. She tried to steady her self as she pushed the door open. She needed to be ready to argue her case to beg for them not to kick her out of school.
