The sun was rising over the snow-capped mountains. Paint the sky arrays of blue, purples, reds, pinks, orange, and yellows. It was a beautiful picture to wake up to. Though she wasn’t taking in its full appreciation of it. Today was the day that she was going to brave the rumour Labyrinth. One rumoured to house a fierce being, or was it two? The rumours always seem to change depending on the region. But one thing that remained was the deaths of countless men, and that in the center resides treasure. Thing was, was this treasure real? Was it worth the risk on braving the beasts and trying to take claim? It was a simple decision for her. Yes!
What else had she do with her life. Settle down with a nice boy in some small village, start a small family. Being a good little house wife. Talk about boring. Here she got to see the world, she made enough to survive. Pawning off the lesser of treasures. The you girls eyes went to the sky Taking in what little time she had before the sun completely chases away all shadows. It was going to be a good day today. Warm, but not hot nor cold. A temperature that was just right. Perfect day to take an adventure in this so called Labyrinth.
It stood before her tall and proud, the weather treating it well surprisingly after few hundred years of being here on earth. Its walls stood about 13ft high, of pure stone. Few birds sitting on the high ledge of the stone wall, singing there song for the early morning day. A gentle breeze ruffled through the emerald green of the tree, of the forest that surrounded the maze before her. Her short blonde her ruffling as well as she scanned her immediate area with cautions yet excited eyes. Before slowly entering it. Already having a decision to make. Either left or right.
She took the right side and beginning making her way through the twists and turns of the maze. Her heel boots giving off a click every step she took forward. Her tight fitting tunic clinging to her every curve as she made her way through. Her left hand gliding along the stone wall as the other rested near the small blade at her side, next to some pouches.
