A young Elf female stood straight and ridged at the entrance of her small village. Her pale blue eyes were closed as she bowed her head. Blonde hair hung lightly around her shoulders, occasionally being lightly stirred up by small gust of winds. She stood waiting, hands clasped before her against the soft white of her skirt. What was she waiting for? One thing she didn’t want to do, one thing she had to do.
She awaited the large brute that had been terrorizing her small village for the past few weeks, demanding a maiden. And a maiden is what she was. They had sent few prior to her leaving, but still he came back tossing the broken or dead girls at the entrance of the village
Their bodies abuse beyond what any could have guessed, If one didn’t know, he raped them, abused them. They were only human though, and not made for such treatment by some monster. Her jaw tensed as she brought her eyes to open, staring almost blindly to the ground in distant thought as she remembered helping cleaning the women, dressing them and laying those who perished to rest. Now it was her turn for the ordeal. But since she is elven the village elders though she could possibly withstand some of the monsters cruel intentions. Only cause she could out live them by many years, she knew the elders when they were in their prime years, watched as they started their own families and watched as their kids aged and moved on. Yet here she stood. Not looking much older then maybe twenty three years if that. Her body still young and firm.
She looked over her shoulder where the elders stood at great distance away. There expression saddened at the decision that had to of made. A soft smile crossed her lips as she looked at them, cries of young children could be heard, following some cries of few women who she had helped, through sickness, and through birthing of their children. Swallowing dryly her eyes went to the path before her.
It was Spring, was this why the beast demanded another woman. Had the season called upon that lust many creatures fell for? Shaking her head she stared to the blue sky, then to the emerald leaves of the trees. And in the distance she could hear the heavy food falls of the ogre. Which tore worried cries from the villagers before they all went to hid, all that remained were the elders and there grown
