Out in the middle of nowhere, or at least far enough away from most civilized cities and actually in a very strange area that bordered three separate kingdoms in three different directions stood a large black tower surrounded by two leagues of thick growth. While it was odd enough seeing so much green in the middle of plains this tower was left completely alone by the traveling caravans who spied it as they passed by on a main merchant road connecting the three kingdoms. To put it simply there just were too many stories about horrible, terrible, and otherwise nasty things that happened there most people just left it alone but in all actuality it was the kingdoms who didn't want the tower owner bothered by their citizens for a very good reason. Lox was the name of the tower's master and he was someone spoken of in secret at best and only in whispers due to the strangeness and uncertainty of just how far his powers extended. Only a few things were known about him, and those things were enough to keep all sane individuals away considering only madmen would attempt to go anywhere near a mage that was a neko. Yes Lox was one of the only mages his species had ever boasted in the entire world but then again his kind were never known for patients, an attention span that lasted longer than ten seconds, or any great ability to retain huge sums of knowledge for long periods of time. All these things made for terrible magic users, and whenever he did leave his tower for something in the cities he was avoided with a fear that he might just suddenly explode for no good reason.

Regardless of how terrible a neko should be as a mage the other reason Lox was left to his own devices was because by means undetermined by even the mages guild he was capable of creating items and spells of such destructive force no one was willing to directly bother him with anything whatsoever. No one had even known his name until a particularly blood thirsty Orc hoard had attempted to push into the kingdom to the southwest of Lox's tower, and the area where the hoard had been marching through was to this day still named the blasted field for the earth that had been burned down to glass in some places. Lox's only statement as to why he had completely annihilated an Orc incursion was he was simply experimenting with a spell he had devised in his free time thus ensuring he was never bothered, taxed, or otherwise demanded from any royalty who valued their lives. There were talks about trying to marry him off to a kingdoms princess for the sheer fear affect he would have on neighboring countries but no one had effectively been around him long enough to try a seduction. Like a lot of his kind he had an odd attractiveness that came with being a neko, and quite a bit of their mannerisms as well as a jittery kind of disposition but those were the only things he really shared with other nekos. He was far taller than his species had a right to be standing nearly six feet and four inches he was also a lot more heavily built than the common lanky or compact kitties living over the world.

Currently Lox was wondering through his gardens with his tail swaying lazily behind him trying to occupy his time with something else besides the plethora of experiments still demanding his attention in the tower. Though the gardens boundaries were outlined with eight foot tall black marble walls he could sense travelers not too far off passing by and eying his home with suspicion and not a small bit of dread that made him sigh. He was seriously thinking about going out into the city again just to have the same effect of wacking the shit out of a bee hive. People running away, guards running with weapons drawn, guards running away, mages guild representative trying to be very nice but actually very mad, lots of invitations, and then leaving as if nothing happened sounded oh so good after a long spell of study and magical experimentation but he did have critters here to keep him company. Looking into the small lake not too far from his home he waved and smiled gently at the two undines playing underneath the water and got a wave back before they sped away down the river running around the tower and back again. Sighing he returned to his solitary walk when something had his tail pointing straight back and his ears perked with interest. Someone was coming to his gates, a someone with quite a bit of magic to spare and obviously intent on his home but for what he wondered? Everything within the walls were warded to keep unwanted guests from just popping up uninvited, and gods forbid anyone trying to sneak over the wall for the mess their bodies would make after being frozen, shocked, stabbed, burned, and otherwise mangled with the wards in places so a friendly knock on the front gate from a fellow mage?

There was an active village near the sea that was known as the Lunar Village. The village was known for its beauty at night. The village feared creatures of the night so a great mage was appointed as head as the village. The great mage was growing old and only had one daughter who could take his place. His daughter was suborn and still had a lot to learn. He feared her in charge of the village. He sent his daughter to another great mage that lived somewhat close to the village. It was said he was a neko so the daughter was very displeased.

Mayu stood in front of her who lived in the largest house in the village. The father was lying in a bed near death as he gave his last order to Mayu. “Listen my child. You one day soon will have to take care of these people in this village. I cannot say you are ready. So I am sending you to see another mage who can teach you how to be stronger.”

The stubborn girl rolled her eyes to her father in protest. She replied “I am strong enough father. I do not need training. Why won’t you believe me!” She was wearing a long midnight blue dress with a matching sunhat. In the middle of the hat was a flower called a Death Light. It was the rarest flower in the world, it was known to boost magical ability. After bickering back and forth she finally went out of the village and set foot the Mage’s house.

The young outspoken woman was outraged as she walked she seemed to be yelling to herself. “What a pest! I am strong. I am the next great lunar mage! I will just have to learn a few moves to impress father is all”. Then doubt started to filler as she got closer. She thought about how she only practiced a lot yet never really has used her magic in combat. Arriving to the gates she knew it would not be proper to try to climb the gate. She closed her eyes for a moment and wind came from beneath her feet and she looked over the gate. She called out “heeellllloooo?! Hello?! I am Mayu I am next in line to be the great Mage of Lunar Village. I have gems and jewels with me to pay for training”. She waited for an answer as she floated their idly. Her long hair and dress flowing in the gentle breeze produced by her spell.

Lox thought for a while when the woman currently yelling to god and anyone else listening she was the heir to the lunar village mage and smiled nostalgically. So that old coot had a daughter? It seemed strange a man as solemn as him would breed but then again he hadn't known him all that well... What he did know was this particular mage was one of the few beings on the face of the planet that he actually owed a favor to for procuring death light seeds for his own garden, and after taking the short walk to gate he immediately noticed the flower sitting on top of the woman's sun hat before rubbing his chin with his right hand and looking down to think. There could be no mistaking it then.... she was his daughter and the bastard had his word that he'd repay the favor those precious seeds. But this child didn't really need to bolster her magical skills in the least, she had more than enough skill to control huge amounts of mana without the slightest need for a boost but she was quite young after all and probably couldn't see what she was capable of. That and assuming her apparent arrogance by the face she was giving him floating up high and might it seemed like he had his work really cut out for him with this one. Never had he even considered taking on an apprentice and here he was about to take an unruly young woman barely out of her father's house to teach her how to be a magical freak of nature. But first things first for the little one, he couldn't have her looking down at him without the common sense to come to the ground and bow like a good student to their master though the question was how exactly would he show her why it wasn't a good idea to give him funny looks and assume that just because she has gems and jewels he'd simply drop everything he was doing to train her...

Well. Young people usually didn't take well to harsh words, (even though he wasn't that much older than her) but actions usually made them see the error of their ways very quickly. So looking up at her with a slight frown he examined the way she cast the simple spell to keep her floating in the air and due to some kind of luck or disfavor with the gods a wayward wind actually gave him a peak up her dress. But it wasn't the time for such thoughts as he simply tore apart her spell with nothing more than raw mana, and with the slightest gestures of his left hand promptly yanked every last drop of mana she currently had in her body and whatever hidden gems she may have carried. It was one thing to break a spell with another one, as was it extremely complicated to drain the mana out of another magic user without quite a few years of training under ones belt and yet he did both without using anything but his own raw magic in a matter of seconds. Regardless of what she was thinking gravity soon took it's natural course and landed her right on her ass in front of him with Lox leaning down to look into her eyes at a much more appropriate angle. "Gems and jewels are for people who like pretty rocks that are otherwise worthless child. Payment is assuming that I have actually agreed to train you child. And who you were spawned from means less than the worthless rocks you carry child. Who you were born from means nothing but who you are means everything when your dealing with me, and if it weren't for that favor I OWE him I would personally catapult you back into the ocean beside your village without a second thought." With a huge sigh Lox opened his left hand in front of him and produced a massive ball of mana out of what he had stolen from her body and toyed with it between his two hands for a moment before dispersing it to the world around them with a snap of his fingers. "You little lady have quite a bit of work ahead of you, and for your sake I hope you can gather mana quickly. You've got about ten seconds before I see just what kind of combat skills you have. That should be plenty of time for you to recover what I yanked out of your body but hurry, your time starts.... now."

The ground started to rumble around them as a five foot hole appeared and churned with earth, the smell of fire and something burning was filling the air as the hole continued to deepen with a hellish light slowly brightening the area around them. He wasn't going to fight her himself, he was summoning something from the pit itself to go against a child who if his money was in the right place hadn't ever seen an ounce of combat in her life. "I hope you know a little about creatures from other realms child. This one is extremely friendly in that she likes to play with her prey before eating them." He really was going to be a hard ass with the poor girl but not before scaring the ever living shit out of her.

One thing was known and wide spread about Mayu was her pride. She took much pride being the next protector of her village and how powerful her father was. She was stubborn as well and very outspoken at times. Mayu was so stubborn she stupidly brave. Suddenly she felt a cold shock run through her body and she falls to the ground feeling numb and out of breath. “Why in the hell would you do that? Do you understand how disrespectful that is for a respected lady!” her silver eyes burning in rage.

“Ten seconds…?” she echoed. She scrambled to her feet seeing the ground ripping open she screams over the rumbling, “You bastard!” There must have been one thing he looked over her. It was night and the moon was out. She extends her hand to the sky and the moon responded, she started to glow filling quickly back up mana in seconds. She jumps in the air using the spell she used earlier she casted her body up above the hole. She aims her finger towards the hole and drew a magical symbol with her fingertip. A seal was casted on the hole sealing the creature in at least for awhile she hoped.

Mayu screams across the sealed hole. “Dismiss that thing! I am not here for games!” she knew if the sun was out she would have been dead. Looking to her seal starting to thin she broke her selfish ways, “pleeeassse?” Quickly she thought back of all the books she had read for training yet none of them involved a creature like this. Yet if that creature was attack her village she wouldn’t even know how to destroy it of if it would even be possible.

Lox could be a down right evil bastard when he felt like it, and while earlier he did feel like making this child learn the hard way it didn't stop his heart from aching with the look of distraught she had while watching her seal ebb away and the ground churning all the more furiously at the delay. "As I understand I'm to train a guardian, and you must learn that your enemies will not hesitate to throw everything imaginable at you regardless if you've seen it or not. Your father would have thrown himself and his life away if it meant the defense of his village no matter what he faced, but here you are begging me to stop? Your enemies will enjoy you." With nothing more than a snap of his fingers, Lox shattered the pitiful seal and sensed what hurled itself out of the ground at the poor girl. While the thing was invisible, their magical abilities would allow them to sense the shape of an object they couldn't see, and even though Lox stood a good six feet four inches this thing could have pawed him about as easily as a cat would a mouse. Three barks shattered the night air and shook the souls of everything within hearing, and Lox could only marvel for a moment at the sheer size and viciousness of the hell hound he had brought into this plane. If the girl had combat experience there would have been a number of things she could do to preserve her life, but unfortunately it appeared she had frozen for those critical seconds to save her own life, and Lox could feel the hounds massive jaws open to consume her before his magic engulfed it and altered it's shape and size before at last it hit her. Funny thing was Lox's magic had changed it into something he wasn't expecting as what looked like another woman collided with Mayu in mid air and caused both of them to tumble to the ground in a jumble of limbs.

"Oh my.... I wonder what the hell I did?" Lox murmured to himself as he approached the two of them and smiled as a distinctively cute yelping and growling issued from what used to be a hell hound. Popping it's head up Lox had to admit it looked quite a bit like a female werewolf with a weird red and black coloration... but as it looked at the girl she had been trying to eat and back to Lox he was surprised when it actually started talking."....you will turn me back cat or by the pit I'll tear you limb from limb slowly...." When the woman started growling at him he couldn't help but burst out laughing at the both of them. "Ooooh dear! The terrible beast that was going to eat you Mayu is now a cute feisty puppy! One of the many things you'll learn how to do in case you have to handle something your not familiar with. That used to be a hell hound from the 7th layer of hell, but now it's kinda cute with those scary growls!" Him laughing at her seemed to enrage her in a way that she flung her self at him with her teeth bared but he literally caught her mid air by the throat. With a strange blue glow encircling his hand and the creatures neck a collar appeared that seemed to make her lose the will to fight. Setting her down Lox looked at the both of them and sighed deeply once more. "Great... Now I have a girl half frightened to death and a puppy that wants to naw my neck out... This should turn out just dandy..."

Mayu listened to the man closely as he talked about her father she had to reply. “My father and I have different ways of handling things. Yet not once have I heard of such a powerful creature”. Knowing now she had to watch her back more. This neko wasn’t smoke and mirrors and as much as she hated to admit it to herself she knew she was not as powerful. Suddenly she hears and feels the seal break and her heart stops for a moment. Realizing the creature was invisible she now had no idea what she was up against. The only thing she could feel was its power and it was strong. Yet one thing she had learned in her training and that the eyes can be deceiving. Sensing the thing was coming after her she froze. Not enough time to think of a right spell. Instead of casting she flinched and let out a scream like a regular human girl would. After what seemed like a long moment she was on the ground with some kind of wolf girl on top of her. Her hands were laying as she screamed, “Get off me you dog!”

Managing to get to her feet she carefully looked over her body. It was obvious that Mayu didn’t like to get dirty. Her eyes were aimed downward and her stance showed no pride. Her face flushed red with defeat. Thoughts started to fill her head about how she failed. Then she thought of something to make her feel better. “I was just off today. Hm!... I could of taken that wolf girl down in her natural form!” Of course she was lying to herself. Her stubborn pride lit back up in her eyes as she did her final grooming of her hair and dress from the flight. Looking to the talking wolf girl she couldn’t help but to laugh with the man agree that this woman was not strong at all in her current form. “Wait a second! Don’t mock a lady!” she growled a bit under her breath and gave him a glare. “hm!” But there was something that was bothering her. She didn’t understand how he could of change a form of such a powerful breast so quickly. She has seen similar actions done but not with that speed.

Looking to the neko and the dog woman she watched him cast a collar on her. “What are you planning on doing with that beast?” She raises an eyebrow in concern from realizing the beast had just submitted to him. Approaching them she pats the beast on the head. “You sure do puzzle me with your spells…” her eyes leave the beast and she looks up to the man that almost killed her. Seeing he was much taller than her petite frame. It was hard not to feel a bit intimidated but Mayu didn't show it. “Are you gonna teach me or not? This wasn’t even my idea. If not I’ll just go home and find someone else to train me. But I don’t think father would be very happy with you.” Even though he showed her great powers she still seemed unfazed by him. But her silver eyes did not lie; They showed a hint of fear.

Lox found it odd that this girl actually had the gall to come up and pat the wolf girl on the head with the knowledge that she wasn't a wolf in the least, only a morphed hell hound that was close to the size of a freaking house. But the hound seemed quite a bit subdued all things considering, and when Lox dropped his large hand onto the top of her head and fondled her ears he noticed that she was quivering ever so gently. It was unsettling enough for Mayu to confront a creature like the hound in it's normal form but it seemed as if the hound herself was disturbed and even scared from what he had just done to her. Slipping two fingers into her collar Lox tilted coaxed her closer to get a good look at her eyes, and by how much she quivered it looked like he was right but that didn't stop him from placing his free hand on the back of Mayu's neck and bringing her closer to give the same unyielding gaze he had with the hound. Oh the girl talked big sure enough, but she had the same look as the hound whether she liked it or not and that made him smile in an odd crooked sort of way as he looked between the two of them. Finally releasing the two of them Lox looked at the puppy and with a thought snapped his fingers, immediately getting the desired response of the hell hound pouncing the unsuspecting Mayu and pinning her firmly to the ground. Another snap, and the hound's teeth yawned sharp and glittery in the night as they sped towards the woman's exposed neck before the final third snap stilled the hound completely. "Oh sure I'll teach you, a favor is a favor after all and I don't think you could ever get away from me even if you tried... which for your sake I hope you don't. Since your father sent you here for me to train you then it will be done in however manner I want it to be, and you'll learn the way I want you to but not until you understand a few ground rules."

Stepping over to the two woman Lox once again yanked whatever mana she currently had in her body roughly out and balled it in front of the hell hound for her to see, condensing and molding it into something deadly and easily capable of killing the two of them where they were. "I make the rules Mayu, and I expect them to be carried out by you and by this puppy as well because the consequences for disobedience will not be nice. In your case Mayu, this puppy here will be your partner when you train for combat, and be assured I will be letting her use more and more of her natural ferocity and strength as time passes. Fail to advance and she will tear you apart, and I don't need to remind you puppy who is master and who will send you screaming right back into the pits of hell with half of your powers stripped to be set upon by whatever decides to play with you in the pit. The hell hound actually whined and scooted back and more firmly against Mayu as if trying to escape even though there really wasn't anywhere to go, and Looking down directly into Mayu's eyes the poor girl might just find why people feared him because there was no mercy or pity in his viciously slitted crimson orbs as he glared down at her. It seemed that whatever cruelty he had called upon to destroy the orcs was far from gone, and yet his eyes softened and his pupils rounded out as he slipped his fingers into the hell hounds collar once more and helped her off of Mayu before offering her a hand up as well. "I think that should be it for now... you both have a lot to think about as far as how things will run, but you two need a bit to think before I start cramming more into your misused brains and thick skulls. Oh! And for the record Mayu, this little puppy here is actually a lot more dangerous the way she is now than when she was in her natural form. Your first assignment is to figure out why that is!" Turning away and beckoning them to follow Lox led them into the garden with the hell hound shaking her head and sighing tiredly. "How did I get mixed up with a crazed cat? How the fuck am I supposed to be stronger as a runt than when I'm myself?! At least I don't have to deal with him as much as you will though.... My name's Lunia by the way, not beast."

“I never got your nam-“ Mayu was cut off by her face being brought to the hound. Figuring since the hound was under his control it wouldn’t attack her. But she was very wrong. A snap was heard and next thing she knew the hound was on top of her. Another snap, she felt close to death. She could feel it breathing on her neck. Feeling her mana getting drained again her body with limp for a moment. Every time he did it to her she felt as if her whole body and soul was being drained. It was making her physically weak and ill. She jerked to the head to the side and gagged trying not to get sick. “Damn…” she whispered to herself, “What kind of mess did I get myself into…” Suddenly she started to connect pieces of a puzzle. Her father must of sent her here for not just magic training. Mayu hate to admit it but what she thought was her ‘lady-like’/proper attitude just came off as snobby and rude. And this mage would not stand for it and could set her straight. That realization was more fearsome than the hound itself. A single tear rolled down her cheek but she would have just said it was dirt in her eyes. Knowing it was time to watch what she said and start being respectful. Or at least try to, before she is killed.

She listened to him closely and nodded and agreed. She was behaving but finding out she had to work with Lunia really kind of pissed her off. She didn’t think her training would have anything to do with such large creatures. Mayu thought she would be learning a spell or two not a lifelong lesson. She would have loved to give her father an ear fill. But yet, he wasn’t proud of her and she wanted him to be proud. Knowing he didn’t have much time to live she would have to try her best.

Finally Lunia was lifted from her. Mayu stumbled to her feet trying to and was breathing hard. Doing her best to catch up to them she heard Lunia talking to her. She repeated weakly, “Lunia…I’ll do my best to remember… maybe a spell…?” As they walked she tapped Lox’s shoulder to get his attention. “I have one request. Only one…” she took a deep breath feeling more of her mana returning. She then finished her request but her tone had changed to very upset, “Stop draining my mana! Please don’t do that so carelessly!” Even though she was regaining mana easily since it was night the thought of it in the sunlight gave her a deep fear. And even though she regained mana, it gave her such an empty, lifeless, and cold feeling a mage never wants to feel. “I just…” she took a moment, “If you were to do that in the day light I might not recover. At least not easily at all. I am completely useless in the day.” She explained. She felt as if she was telling him information he already knew. She was quickly learning not to be surprised by him.

Lox continued to walk them through the front gates of his gardens, down a winding path around massive trees that didn't belong in this section of the world and yet flourished under his careful hands. When they did make it to a small bridge over the little river flowing it's way around his gardens he stopped for a moment and turned around to face the two of them. Reaching out with his left hand Lox slipped his fingers underneath Lunia's collar once more and brought her forward before turning her around to face Mayu, and murmuring softly over her shoulder Lox smiled in his crooked kind of way as he spoke. "Mayu... How do you ever expect to learn how I'm capable of draining and regaining mana so quickly without having feeling the effects for yourself? Your the heir to the LUNAR village. Any mage with half a damn brain would intentionally attack you during the day simply because they'll EXPECT you to be at your weakest. Yes I'm going to drain you during the day, but not without showing you how to do it yourself and even bolster the mana of creatures around you." Lox had pressed his left hand into Lunia's back and the hell hound started shaking, barking, and growling as it fought to stay in control as all the mana he had stolen was forced into her body. "Look at this puppy here Mayu, if she didn't already know I could kill her in an instant she would be ravaging, destroying, and killing everything within sight. And the only good way for you to practice draining mana is to have a creature with excessive amounts of it like she does now. It also helps that she's crazed and probably won't be able to stop herself if I do order her to kill you... If any of this is getting through Mayu I'm going to be doing lots of terrible things with the two of you but fear not, you'll both learn or die trying. When I'm done you'll be a great mage and Puppy here will be a fantastic guard doggy for my gardens."

When he did take the excess amount of mana away from Lunia, the hell hound seemed to have reached her limit as she collapsed with Lox barely catching her before she flopped onto the ground. "You should also get used to this as well Mayu, I will push the two of you beyond your limits often. It would do you a huge amount of good to keep an eye on each other encase I do decide on training you in something that might kill you both." Carrying her over the bridge they approached the tower that had no apparent doors to enter from, but Lox simply walked through the wall and into the first floor that looked like a large study. "Here is where you'll be brushing up on your reading considering you didn't even know what a hell hound was." Leading the girl up stairs Lox dropped off the hound at the foot of a huge bed and tossed a blanket over her as he pointed towards another door. "There is a bathroom where you can wash up but I only have one guest room, so you and puppy will be sharing one for the time being. And no I'm not having a miniaturized hell hound running a mock through my gardens fresh out of the pit and untrained!" Leading the girl up one more flight of stairs he showed her the kitchen and where she could find fresh food whenever she wanted it but at that he stood at the stairs leading to the top floor and faced her one last time. "My room is on the top floor Mayu, and your not allowed in there for the time being... but maybe when I think it's time I'll teach you how to make your own magical artifacts. If you leave your cloths in the trunk beside your bed then they will be freshly cleaned tomorrow morning for your use, but I'll have to figure out if the puppy is going to need cloths or better off running in fur only. Rest for now little mage, tomorrow will be long and trying but you'll live... hopefully. Keep trying though, your father would be proud knowing you survived tutelage under me."

Walking with him she waited for his reply. His reply caught her of guard. What he had said made something start to break in her. Living a full life of pampering was gone. She did not reply to him because she was too upset to speak. Her eyes trail back down to the ground in horror. The thoughts of her mana being taken away in the sunlight made her shiver. Even hearing the sound of Lunia’s pain made her want to scream. Wondering how she would regain mana in the day. Knowing she would slowly regain mana since she was a mage but it has always been a torture for her family to. Thoughts of many things took over her mind making his tour seem distance. As they walked around she felt heavy with guilt and defeat.

Arriving to the guest room she looked to Lunia. Sharing a room with her now great… things couldn’t get better… A heavy sigh escaped her. Continuing to follow she man towards the outside of his room. Finally replying to his statement, “Not to worry! Your bedroom is the last I want to be in.” She couldn’t help but to smirk and look away from him. “My father would probably just be happy if I make it out alive from this ridiculous training.” Fear started to strike her thinking about how training hasn’t even started. A wave of sadness over took her body. “Goodnight!” she said in a mix of anger and sadness, her voice seemed to crack. There was no way she was going to let him see her tears. It was becoming too much already she dashed off to the guest room.

Of course she went around in circles a bit but that is what she paid for not listening. Finally finding the room she bursts in and knows that this wasn’t even her own room. It just pissed her off even more. Figuring that Lunia wouldn’t understand her emotional pain she walked over her, to the window. Taking a last look at the moon, her body started to glow for a moment as she finished topping off her mana for the night. The glowing ceased and Mayu pushed her body against the cool glass. I could always leave when I want if it becomes too much right? Thinking a bit more to herself, Well I am not sure if… wait a second he never told me what to call him by! But would he even let me go? Would father even accept me back into the village? Either way I am so screwed… I’ll be lucky if I make it out alive. Kicking off her shoes and peeling off her dress she was left in only her undergarments. Placing the dress in the trunk near the bed she then turns around and dives into the large bed. Scooting her body over to be on the edge of the bed facing the window, fully covered up. “Goodnight Lunia…” she reached over and turned off the light. In the cover of darkness Mayu buried her face and cried silently to herself until she slept.

Lunia could do little for the poor girl in the condition she was in, but that didn't mean she could smell and see the tears streaking her squinted eyes those few times she passed her. But when the girl told her good night before crying herself to sleep the hound gently laid her tail against her ankle to let her know she was there with her. Out of the two of them the little mage was more likely to draw the cat's wrath with her studies, and if that feline was seriously considering making the woman into his equal she could only imagine the hell he would put her through considering the level of difference. The rest of the night pasted uneventfully, both of them exhausted from the little trial run that cat had placed them through but when the morning's first light started filtering though the glass window they had forgotten to close that night Lunia woke with a huge yawn and bleary eyes. Crawling over to Mayu to nudge the girl with her snout, she murmured sleepily before curling into a ball once more not too far away. "Morning Mayu.... The cat's cooking breakfast or something.... but I thought cats weren't morning creatures...." Drifting back into a doze their bedroom door was opened by a creature that had the hell hound thrashing to get up right and shaking Mayu furiously. "MAGE! MAGIC NOW OR SOMETHING DAMMIT WAKE UP!" Her urgency came from the arachnoid like woman that had gently pushed the door open and the monstrous appearance she gave due to the entire lower part of her body being that of a massive spider. Smiling gently the new woman bowed and giggled at the rising fur of Lunia's back and tail.

"I'm not here to harm you hound, I don't fight in the traditional way my kind are normally able to but I am here to offer two hungry girls hot breakfast and a chance for a nice hot bath before the master rouses himself. He is not inclined to waking up excessively early and he isn't a very happy kitty in the mornings but he does somehow manage to wake up far earlier than most of his kind. Mr. Kitty said he had already shown you where the kitchen is Mayu but I'm sure you won't have any problem finding it Lunia. My name is Reesa, and I'm one of the keepers he has in the garden of shadows. I hope it won't take too long before your instruction from me, you'll need the rest after that kitten has put you through the ringer." With another small bow the woman departed and headed back up stairs leaving the two of them in silence before Lunia broke it with a hesitant question. "Hey Mayu.... Is the master a.... womanizer? I'm a girl, your a girl, that thing was a girl, and last night I saw two undines in that little lake that were both girls.... Did he summon me here for... that kind of thing too?" The hound scrutinized the mage more thoroughly then and looked at her with big scandalous eyes before flashing her fangs in a grin. "Your not hard on the eyes at all! And your his pupil so he'll be spending lots of time with you... All things considering I'd watch my back in case he wants to jump yours when your tired and exhausted... especially with those undies!" This got the hound to giggling as she rolled about the bed and actually fell off laughing for a bit before stretching and exploring their room in depth but not touching anything with ruins stenciled into them, which was virtually everything present.

The warm sunlight from the window felt nice on her face. Mayu was having a wonderful dream about near her village’s shoreline. Her dream was interrupted by Lunia’s nudges, they were useless it only made her stir around. But not long after Mayu had a rude awake. Jumping out of bed in her undergarments from Lunia’s cry for help. Mayu jumped back and raised her hand in fear as if being ready to cast. To Mayu’s surpise this creature was kind as well. “Um… thank you Reesa. “ her body lowered into a bow, “sorry for our reaction”, she looks to Lunia. After Reesa left Mayu put her hands on her hips, “So Lunia, when danger comes knocking at the door you call for me? That is cute,” Mayu teased.

"A womanizer you say? You think so really?” she thought for a moment. “I haven’t thought about it. There is a good chance; you have to know that cats are known for being frisky." After Lunia’s comment about her appearance she pulled the blanket from the bed attempting to cover herself. Suddenly Mayu’s foot got caught in the blanket and she fell straight to the ground. “Ugh! Lunia! And let me tell you this! I would never let him do such a thing to me!” After thinking about it what would she do in that situation? As much as she disliked him at times she couldn’t help but to get excited from seeing his power. It certainly impressed her.

Reaching over to her side of the bed and opens the trunk, she grabs her dress that was cleaned just as promised. “Hey Lunia I am going to take that offer for a hot bath and breakfast. Please don’t break anything from being too curious. “Mayu laughed and heads out of their room to the bathroom using her dress to try to cover herself. Getting to the bathroom unseen she takes off panties and bra and puts them to the side. Getting in the bath she sighed in relief for the heat. After a while she gets out of the bath and tries off. Carefully she puts on her dress and looked in the mirror to make sure her hair was smoothed out and dress was straight. With a smile of approval she heads out the door towards the kitchen.

As she walked to the kitchen she pays close attention to what kinds of things he had out. Most of it confused her or she knew they were very valuable. Knowing better than to touch she continues to walk until she reached the kitchen. Looking to the table she saw the breakfast Reesa had promised. Mayu sat down at the table and ate her breakfast. Enjoying her meal greatly it was time to find where she needed to be. There was no way she was going to get in trouble again that easily.

Lox in question wandered into the kitchen at about the same time Lunia had given up on her examination of her shared room and stared wide eyed at the man as she sat down to her own breakfast beside Mayu. The reason for her staring was because Lox had nothing on save a pair of boxers, and when he sat down to a steaming mug of something that obviously had a lot of cream in it due to it's sweet smell, but Reesa glared at him and scooted his desired drink away from him until he was stretching sleepily for it and actually mewed pitifully trying to get at it. "Lox! I've told you a thousand times you can't wander around in your underwear in the morning regardless of how sleepy you are! If you want your cream and breakfast you require pants!" This only made the hell hound stare almost incredulously at the spider woman, who didn't seem to have any trouble whatsoever talking to the master of not only the tower but everything in side of the garden's he had created even if she did snort and nearly choke on her food at the knowledge the all powerful mage drank hot cream in the morning. But at the moment Lox looked to be pawing the table just out of reach from the cream he wanted so very badly, and Ressa sighed hugely as she smirked and winked at the two girls. "It would be terrible for all of his secrets to get out but I guess since this kitty is going to be giving you both a rough time then a little bit of fair play is in order. Lox here is utterly useless in the mornings when he wakes up, probably because he forces himself out of bed before any normal cat does but it's easy enough to keep him happy when he's like this."

With one deft movement of her left hand the spider woman scratched and rubbed furiously at his exposed right ear causing the cat to let off going for his drink and simply purr contentedly where he was actually dozing off to the evil little giggle Ressa let out before giving him his drink. "See? In the morning he's just like a big naughty kitty but I'd suggest the two of you vacate in a hurry. If he suspects you've seen him like this he'll be all the harder on you for revealing this weakness." Sure enough as soon as Lox took the first few sips of his drink his tail began to swish happily behind him and he was fast coming out of his sleepy stupor, prompting Lunia to take Mayu's arm and lead her quickly away before their master woke up completely. "Ooooooh I can't wait until he releases me! One morning he's going to have a hell of a wake up call but it's sooo very tempting to do it now after yesterday! Damn overgrown kitten... He'll have it coming the moment he lets his guard down!" Out side the tower Lunia led the way towards where she had seen the undine the day before, and seeing the twins playing she waved them over to chat until the bastard cat was ready to torture them for the day. "I'm Lunia, and this is Mayu. Were supposed to be training under that cat for who knows how long but there's one question I want to ask the two of you. Why is it that we've only seen females here the entire time we've been her? Is Lox some kind of womanizer? The two undines snickered and giggled at the question but the younger one answered with all smiles.

"Lox isn't a womanizer per say... It's just he seems to like female company or none whatsoever here in the gardens. There are a lot of different creatures here but he seems to have some kind of vicious hatred for other males living within these walls. It might just be a territorial thing though... Our mums used to say that neko's were known to attack anything out of their village and the few males roaming about were particularly hateful of other males for some reason."

Mayu watched Lox in his sleepy daze and busted out laughing. She covered her mouth to hide her laughter. “Thanks Reesa. I needed that laugh; we will get out of here” she giggled. Seeing him in just boxers and him giving in to Reesa scratching was priceless. She was happy leave with Lunia before her she busted out laughing again. After walking for a bit with Lunia she responded to her statement, “Lunia be careful. That overgrown kitten might end up sending you to a worse place than hell. Make sure you think wisely before you do something stupid” Mayu warned.

As they exited the tower and were outside, Mayu let out a loud laughter after thinking about how she saw Lox. “I just can’t get over how silly a great mage could be!” she continued to walk with Lunia until they saw twins. She let Lunia do the talking since she wasn’t the best at socializing. Mayu was shocked at Lunia’s question. “Why are you so worried about it? If he is what are we going to do about it? You are physically stuck here and I have to finish my training before I can head back to my village.” Mayu let out a deep sigh, “I wonder how long that will take...”

Mayu zoned out for a long moment as she looked to the sky. Seeing the bright sun she felt no mana she could get from it. If it wasn’t for her being so tired last night, she would be sleeping right now. To her the sun was a symbol of it being late. Shaking her head she snaps out of it and her attention is drawn back to the twins. Commenting on what their mother’s theory was, “I did hear male cats don’t get along with other males. So I really think that is a good conclusion at least for now”.

Unfortunately for the two of them Lox had his breakfast and was quite awake when he walked up behind them soon enough to hear the end of their conversation, the only hint of his arrival being the nymph dipping lower in the water and making bubbles as she exhaled looking shyly behind the two. He didn't give them the time to actually greet or even turn around as he placed a hand into the small of their backs to let them feel just how much mana was starting to build up against them. "Tell me girls.... How does me getting along with other males have anything to do with your combat training today hmmm?" Without waiting for a reply, Lox released the mana he had built up to catapult them both spinning through the air towards an open field within his walls with a slight smirk as he floated along to watch their flailing decent towards the field. "Today you'll be working on your survival and aggression Mayu, considering you don't have any combat experience you need to learn that you MUST act in your defense to get rid of that pesky freezing you sometimes do. And as for you puppy, Your going to be doing the same since you haven't really fought against anyone wielding magic before." He was glad at least Mayu had the mind to make her self float before she turned herself into a smear on the ground, and it did please him to see the hell hound land with a heavy thud on all four limbs growling viciously at him as he approached. "Oh my... a spunky puppy! I wonder if you'll manage bite me... Mayu, defend yourself to the best of your ability for the time being and by all the gods if you don't at least try it's going to be that much more painful for you.

There was no warning when he teleported, and none when he struck Lunia full in the jaw with a closed fist or when a crack of lightning snapped from his free hand at Mayu. Lox hadn't been aiming at her and only managed to burn the top left shoulder of her dress before teleporting again to kick the legs out from under her. The next few minuets were nothing short of brutal hand to hand combat between him and Lunia, but while the hell hound was used to such hard combat Lox couldn't openly beat Mayu in the same way until she at least learned to fight back. There were times when he was nearly cooked by the young woman and his left hand had gotten bitten by Lunia when he wasn't paying attention but for the most part Lunia was being thrashed and every time Mayu attempted to cast Lox would be there to shove her in the back, kick the legs out from under her, or snatch her by the ankles to toss her across the lawn. Usually Lox would simply fight one of the many creatures inhabiting his gardens for his morning exercise but now that he had pupils there wasn't any point in finding partners. "Is that all you've got you bad puppy?" Lox scolded Lunia as he appeared behind her and fondled the top of her head, nearly losing a few fingers and just avoiding a swift kick to his crotch. Mayu was running quite low on mana by this time, and for her most current attack Lox got around the hell hound's defense and simply threw her into the mage to send the two of them tumbling and sprawled in a heap. Looking up at the sun Lox noticed it was close to lunch and decided to give his two pupils a chance to breath.

Mayu had never received much training while the sun was out. She could sense Lox’s strong aura but before she could move an inch she felt the building of mana against her. Mayu tried to speak but she was stunned at how quickly he came up to them. “Y-You son of a…” before she could finish she was sent flying into an open field. Her hat tumbling away in the field, she screams to him, “I swear I’m gonna kill you for that!”

Mayu noticed the ground and quickly jumped in the air floating above it seeing Lunia falling. “Why must you be so unfair?!” It was true they didn’t stand much of a chance. The sun was she beating on Mayu slowing down her restore of mana, she would have at least stood a small chance if it was night. I can’t even summon right now… Mayu tried to cast a wind trap spell to slow him down but with every attempt she was sent to the ground with a counter. She was yelped out when the lightning burning her dress, “Hey that was close! I didn’t come here to die!”

After the last attack she rolled around in the grass some in discomfort. She mumbled to herself, “Stupid cat… I am really starting to hate him…” Mayu closed her eyes and tried her best to restore her mana but didn’t have too much luck. She was like a fish out of water. How was she to get stronger in the day? It was almost as if her family of mages were cursed in the day. She had a good idea on who to ask for help but if only he would stop beating her to the ground nearly every moment he saw her.

Managing to get to her feet the woman walked towards him. As much as she wanted to approach him screaming, she knew it would only send her flying back into the field. “So, I know you are training us and all. But you randomly beating us to a pulp wasn’t in the description. Shouldn’t we be more focused on the fact I restore my mana 80% slowly in the day? You are beating on me while I’m handicapped. Is there a way to train how quickly mana gets restored or even a spell for it?” Mayu nearly flinched at every small body movement he made. “Or are you just having too much fun attacking me?” Her dress was already ruined and she was lucky nothing of hers broke yet.

Lox smirked at the little mages discomfort, not truly pleased at her pain but simply remembering when he himself was in that very same position not too long ago. Instead of replying to her he reached out with his left hand and looped it around the small of her back to pull her against his own body, leaning down and using the point of one of his fangs he nipped the very tip of her ear just hard enough to draw a single drop of blood and force his way into her mind. What he showed her in his own minds eye was where he was getting so much mana from but what was utterly terrifying there was no limit, they were both looking up into the night sky and with a tiny flick of his right hand Lox showed her he was pulling mana from a source that had neither beginning or end to it. The mana he drew was black but had not distinguishing feature to it, pure undiluted energy that with a thought shifted to fire, light, dark, earth, and water before returning to its pure form. (I can't show you how to pull this mana little mage, you have to learn how to tap this yourself but the reason I'm beating you to a pulp is simple. Mana as you know comes from different area's of the world, this mana comes from the very universe beyond that. The problem is your body and mind are what draw and shape it to your will, draw to much and you will kill yourself as so many others have the moment they find this power. Unlimited magical power and yet every single time I draw this power little mage I take the risk of misjudging and killing myself, look.) Bringing her back out of his own head Lox showed her the mana he had pulled as an example still roiling in his hands, and the amount there was enough to restore not only everything they had lost but with enough extra for him to completely heal Lunia of her own injuries.

"You came her demanding training, wanting to get done with everything so quickly, and be on your marry way back to your home like it was nothing more than a walk Mayu. Now you realize why even dragons do not assume I will be at their beck and call and why most things leave me to my own devices. When I start teaching you combat magics and larger spells then I'll tell you how I tap that mana I just showed you, but If your stupid enough to try doing it yourself now then leave my garden so you don't kill my creatures or me." Going to the water to wash his face Lunia got up and stretched painfully as she leaned on Mayu for support. "What's he all uppity about? Isn't it good enough that he beat both of us and didn't even bother healing us so we would be in top condition? How does he expect me to try and bite his head off if every muscle in my body aches?" She actually whined softly before turning to examine her room mate more closely, tying off the scorched part of her dress so her bra would no longer be exposed after Lox blasted it off. "I think you need some new cloths... maybe we can get a day off so I can rest and you can go into town..."bn

Mayu of course was expecting words not actions. He always found a way to completely caught her off guard. Her face grew flustered in embarrassment when he grabbed her and bites down on her ear. Before she could say anything her vision flashed as their minds connected. Seeing the power source was enough to heal her body and restore her mana back to normal. When he explained how strong it was it made Mayu heart race in excitement. When the connection broke, Mayu looked around a bit dazed, her body was still close to his. Her eyes looked to him in wonder, He trusted me with his secret… he trusted me with the knowledge of true power? But why?

His words broke her chain of thought and replied, “Don’t worry I plan to kick your butt fair and square. Plus it is not that greedy.” Mayu couldn’t help but to think about that power and how maybe one day she could learn how to channel her mana from there. Suddenly she looks down to her chest and sees the cloth that should be covering her breasts was burnt off. “You did this on purpose didn’t you? Stupid pervert!” Mayu turned her back on him while trying to figure out how to cover him. When Lunia mentioned new clothes she couldn’t agree more. “Yes I need new clothes. I am going to need a lot of clothes if they keep being burnt and ripped off!” The loud girl turned back around with her arm covering her chest. "Where can I get new clothes around here?" she asked aloud.

Lox tried to ignore the adamant disrespect his young apprentice was showing but looking at her closely now and noticing just how well... made she seemed to be he wouldn't be able to train the girl if he was always oggling her body every chance he got. Not to mention the disturbing seed of lust that might drive him to revealing more through a few well placed shots was enough to push him into that town visit he had been thinking about earlier. Stepping up behind the two girls he sighed heavily as he placed a hand on both of their shoulders and promptly restored not only Mayu's mana but also healed them both so they wouldn't have to limp about town and draw even more attention than the younger mage's ragged appearance as well as the hell hound that he didn't quite trust being left home without her running amock in his gardens. "Cloths are a must I guess... so to the town for a little shopping and then I guess we can close out the day with a few spells that you should know." Once more the two didn't get any warning asides the massive build up of mana before all three experienced the distinct feeling of detaching from the physical world and teleporting to a plaza in the center of a bustling city not too far off from Lox's personal tower. Like most time he visited the flash and clap of thunder had citizens scurrying away from the spot where he transported them too, but now it was accompanied by a low and persistently annoying murmur at the human like hell hound that wasn't wearing a scrap of clothing and the battered young woman at his side. "Come along students... I don't want to stay here longer than necessary. The last thing I need...." He was suddenly cut off by a harsh barking command that came from near by, and a number of armored bodies made their way through the crowd to surround them headed by a young female night that commanded them.

"What did I tell you cat? One more uproar and your fuzzy ass goes right to the dungeon if I remember correctly. Mage, Dangerous, or otherwise I told you stay the hell out of my city or I'm arresting you DID I NOT?!" Strangely enough this guard reminded him a lot of Mayu when she first came yelling to his tower demanding training and payment in return as if he were a whore for her personal use. The odd thing though was that Lox's tail curled into almost a perfect C with the very tip flicking back and forth as his ears perked up with a devious grin spreading across his face. It was said that a Neko's emotions could be read by the actions of their tails, and for anyone who was familiar with his peculiar species they would know immediately that whatever he was focused on was in danger of being pounced. "Reina. Lovely day isn't it sugar lump! I need to buy lots of cloths for my apprentice due to the amount very high possibility of them getting incinerated along with some of her hide when I train her. So if you don't mind moving your high and mighty ass out of the way I can leave your stinking shit filled toilet of a city and be on my way." By the rank on the woman's armor it was easy to spot even if one wasn't familiar with the structure that Reina held a high command, that and how the color drained away from the men she commanded said they held a fair amount of not only respect but fear gave the woman plenty of credit to her position. But low and behold Lox trampled over that without a care in the world, and Reina's face was turning a terribly bright red color that almost matched the stripes of her spotless armor. Turning his back to the knight, Lox shoed his apprentices back a few steps and smiled all the more devilishly when he heard the ring of a sword being drawn before speaking to them in a matter of factly kind a way.

"When your mana is expended Mayu and your are left with no magic you must know how to defend yourself by mundane hand to hand combat. During your stay I'll be teaching you how to handle retards such as the captain here without the use of magic but it will take much longer for you to master this form of defense than magic. Watch closely." The night was quivering when he turned to face her, and taking a fighting stance by what he assumed was pure instinct Lox leaned forward at the waist and made a kissing gesture before mocking her further. "You know it gets me going when your angry Reina, wana kiss and make up?" He knew he was pushing his luck, and the slight nick he received on the cheek was proof enough that he nearly lost his head if he hadn't dodged back but what happened next was extremely hard for most to follow with the exception of Reina who had magic to help. By the time the knight had ended her swing Lox had already pounced on top of her and grabbed the wrist holding the sword, using his weight to take her down the both proceeded to thrash on the ground trying to gain the upper hand. But Lox wasn't really fighting, he was playing with her by the laughter coming from him as he used his bear fists to land blows into the joints of her armor. Unarmed, Lox forced her to drop the sword which he kicked away, took the dagger she pulled and tossed it away too, and generally harassed the poor woman by disengaging with her just long enough for her to almost get to her feet before pouncing again and resuming the tumbling fight. Worse yet he began tearing the straps that held her armor on and finally left her alone when she was left in her blouse and trousers minus the full suit of armor she had been wearing moments before. "I'LL KILL YOU! I'LL TORTURE YOU AND MAKE YOU BEG FOR DEATH YOU FILTHY CAT!" Was all that could be made out as her men dragged her away to keep the captain from further hostilities against the mage.

Mayu felt as if she was ready to faint from being teleported to a city to Lox and a knight fighting. She knew better to say out of it especially since the sun was beating on her. Could this cat not make peace with anyone he comes in contact with? For the most part every person she saw him with he would take down. Or they would be ticked off at the kitty. Was fighting the only answer for him? Of course it was he was a powerful mage. Yet times like this made her wonder who her teacher was. A connection started to form, why was everyone he fought was a girl? Maybe Lunia was right, it only made Mayu want to be more careful. Yet what would being more careful do if he could strike her down in a heartbeat?

Keeping her arms crossed to hide her exposed chest, she watched them in wonder. When she heard Lox bright up hand to hand combat she nearly fell over. The clueless magic exclaimed, “Me?! You realize how small I am?! Can’t I just be distance and knock everyone off their feet before they get to me?!” He has to be joking… Mayu didn’t seemed to worried when the knight fought back she knew Lox could take her down. Leaning down to Lunia as the two fought she had to ask, “Any idea what he did? My guess is he probably was running around casting spells on everyone”. Mayu let out a girly giggle from the gossip.

Mayu had enough, he was stronger than her, but Mayu had a temper. She approached him from behind as the girl gets dragged off. Tapping him on the shoulder and clearing her throat to get his attention. “How bout we get what we need and get out of here. I rather not be seen with someone who is constantly being attacked by and attacking everyone!” Maybe realized she let her arm that was covering her chest go. Turning flustered she demands, “I really need clothing! You might be okay with me walking around half exposed and looking like I just got raped but I’m not!” The feisty mage turns around and walks aimlessly a few feet. “Any suggestion of something you can’t tatter every five seconds? Or am I going to need to buy a whole wardrobe of clothes?” she asked now calming down.

Lox stretched luxuriously before hearing the giggle from Mayu and sighing at the woman's ignorant complaints and fits. It did make him smile remembering his own training, and he followed behind the two girls for a bit before leading the way once more as he stepped in front of the two but not before whispering in Mayu's ear. "It would do you well not to speak in such a tone to your master little mage, I might just think your tone is disrespectful and reprimand you during our training by making it all the more... harsher. And YES I DO EXPECT YOU TO LEARN HAND TO HAND BECAUSE I DEMAND A WELL ROUNDED STUDENT REGARDLESS OF THEIR GENDER OR SIZE. AN ENEMY DOESN'T CARE WHO OR WHAT YOU ARE." With those words no doubt ringing in her ears Lox led them muttering darkly in a strange language that might have been his original dialect, but as they reached the clothing section of the market he turned back to glare at the two of them before growling out a few more harsh words. "A little more information to shed light on your obvious ignorance MY teacher was a woman, a foot shorter than you and many many more times vicious than I can ever hope to muster. And YES MAYU She taught me everything I know, including hand to hand that came with far more beatings I think you could dream of living through. If I find that I can't teach you then I might think about dealing with a vicious beating from her and handing you over to someone who might teach you a little bit more tact!" With that Lox was silent as he led them through the winding streets leaving them to think about his words, but it didn't take Lunia long to lean close and whisper into her ear low enough so their master couldn't hear.

"Now we know why he's completely crazed. Hells it might just be a warped pride thing behind why he seems to always pick fights with strong females. The only thing that makes me shutter now is what kind of freak by all the heavens and hells and whatever is in between produced such a mage as powerful as Lox. At least we know he's not all powerful but damn if I ever want to meet his master..." The fact that Lunia had to lean down a bit to whisper into Mayu's ear was enough to make the hell hounds whole body shiver involuntarily but any further words were cut off as Lox pushed the doors of a very large and expensive looking clothing store open to lead them inside. The store seemed even more massive on the inside with shelves upon shelves of cloth to make cloths into and already made cloths on display all over the place. Lox simply pointed at the two woman following behind him and muttered "Wardrobe" before walking away to sit by the window and look at the passing crowd in the streets as the two of them were whisked away by a pretty looking attendant towards the back to take their measurements. "I've never seen that kitten bring in lady friends to buy cloths for... or any lady as a matter of fact but then again I haven't seen him looking like his tail's been ruffled that badly either. Did he run into the guard captain again? They've been at each others throats ever since he turned a guard into a goose for calling him a pissy kitty. I'm Reita by the way, and I'm the one who usually deals with the mass amounts of cloths that cat seems to destroy at sporadic times. Were the biggest providers of cloths in this city, so if your looking for something specific then just ask and we most likely have it. Mr. Cat always pays in gold bars and he did say wardrobe so I'm assuming he's not worried about how much a lovely lady can make a dent in his pocket. We'll have to get you out of that ruined dress though dear, someone as lovely as you shouldn't have to wear tattered rags in public!"

Lunia was even looking through the cloths and touching some of the finer and more expensive cloths before smiling deviously at Mayu. "I don't even wear cloths but might as well get some just to spite him. You might as well make the most of this Mayu since there aren't many ways to get back at the bastard for all the things he puts us through."

Mayu nearly jumped when Lox yelled at her. He was treating her like a low life, if he wasn’t so powerful she would take him down right there. I really hate this cat! Mayu bite down on her tongue until she could feel the sharp pain. The girl wanted to slap him right across the face with all of her might, but instead she asked “Did you know it is rude to raise your voice at a lady?” she hissed but said no more. Even though she was much weaker than Lox she did stand her ground. Knowing she was standing on thin ice, she tried to move on.

Instead of feeling more pumped about training she started to doubt herself a bit. What Lox had told her started to make her think. How was she to learn how to fight and be a powerful as Lox? She didn’t have all the time in the world and she knew she wasn’t very strong. Like every other mage in the world, she did have some tricks up her sleeve. Yet all those tricks needed the element of night. Mayu only saw her father fight in night and in the day she was asleep. He must have been fighting while she was asleep. But then why didn’t he tell me how to overcome my weaknesses? I guess it is something I need to find out on my own.

Mayu wondered if her father knew Lox’s Master. It was a good possibly since most powerful mages knew each other. Yet Mayu only held a title and nothing more. Of course she was granted with her family's guardian but she still was a far way from being that noticed. It made her think, she haven’t talk to Ravier in a while, Mayu hoped he was doing alright. If she had a chance later she could speak to him for some guidance. Deciding to remain quite as they walked to the clothing shop.

Before Mayu could even have a good look at the store an attendant was already taking her measurements and talking to her and Lunia. Mayu replied to attendant, “Trust me, I don’t want to be in such tattered clothes!” She shot a spiteful glare towards Lox’s direction. Her anger was subsided when Lunia mentioned they should take advantage. There were so many different kinds of clothing Mayu had a hard time choosing anything. “Well I am a lady I wear dress but of course that isn’t the best clothing to wear while training…” she whispered to herself.

After getting lost in the store from looking around aimless, she ended up with multiple outfits. Mainly still dresses, she just couldn’t help herself. Placing the clothes on the counter she wandered back into the maze of clothes to only bring up more to the front. Hopefully by the end of my supply of clothing, they won’t become tattered anymore from me getting my ass kicked Mayu leaned against the counter and waited for Lunia. She wondered what kind of clothing she would get since she didn’t wear clothes.

Lunia had chosen an odd selection of clothing since she hadn't worn the things before, but they seemed functional enough that she wouldn't harm herself too badly from a fall or being thrown carelessly around their training field. But they still showed quite a bit of fur to leave nothing to the imaginations of the lustful, but because most of her items were hardened leather on the outside and softer silks to keep from rubbing her fur off they were quite a bit more expensive than even Mayu's selection of fine dresses. The hell hound in question slipped up behind the young mage after they made their final selections and without word or thought firmly cupped the woman's bust from behind, even going so far as hefting them before letting them be and coming around to her front to poke her left breast. "How in the hells do you manage to move about without these things getting in the way? Mine are smaller and they still flop about uselessly... What is the huge attraction men have towards them anyways? There just... bouncy... Being from a lower and more brutal layer of hell Lunia hadn't the slightest idea what she was doing and asked questions with all the bluntness she learned in the pits, but her head cocked slightly to the side when she noticed the store clerk flushing furiously and quickly matching measurements to cloths so they could be altered to fit the girls perfectly. "Mm..Madam... A ladies body up here is the focus for... the bed chambers of masters and such... talk in public is considered inappropriate. I would assume Mr. Cat doesn't quite look at the two of you in such a way.... but that could change if you want...

The clerk led them between huge piles of boxes and stuff before taking a practically hidden passageway down stairs the two of them were confronted with a huge part of the sexual fetish world regardless of their age or experience, and the attendant led them around showing off the finer kinky wear. "Anything you've got in mind, we'll either sell it or find someone who does! and while some are magical, others are purely the ingredients of plants and rear earths! Lunia had picked up a disturbingly large pair of wrist irons that her utterly soft to the touch and made with high quality metal. Ah those love cuffs are perfect for when you feel like being on top and dominating you lover, But if he's anything like that cat's size then I would advise this! This vial drought is smooth and utterly delicious to neko's but only as long as it takes their libidos to catch up! Feeling like a lover needs a new reason to be frisky? We have more than a few books and and tonics to cure any sort of boredom in bed! Now mark me if I'm wrong neither of you girls have such relations with Mr. Cat up there, and as prickly as he is I wouldn't be surprised if he's had any sort of lady friends. If money is not a concern why night buy a few things to drive him wild instead?" With deft hands the attendant gave the girls a set of naughty cloths and even a bottle of what was labeled as Neko Nip

Take these as suveneers ladies, I've got enough money from this buyer to last me another comfortable decade! But remember girls, I suggest getting that nip into his coffee since it's creamy anyways. Then for the rest of the day you could do whatever you want with him if he's out could. Or even if he's lucid you could dress him up or even give him a bit of makeup to he won't act like such a sour puss. I've been waiting for a long long time for him to bring lady friends here to express my agitation at the frequent fights and bouts about the shop and all the fine work i make being totally ruined by the bastard! Come back any time ladies, I've got so much stuff that half of it I haven't figured out! And tell me the stories! Back packs had been strapped to their shoulders and within them more strange objects followed until they were full. Departing from the basement Lox was pacing agitatedly at the door when they finally came back but before he turned to come closer Lunia murmured. "Tomorrow is going to be a free day when I ask Reesa to wake me up before Lox. That cat needs to be take down a few notches before we all end up killing each other."

When Mayu felt Lunia’s grab her breasts, she was completely startled and let out a loud yelp that echoed across the store. Mayu whipped around and yelled, “What is wrong with you?!” her face was bright red with embarrassment. The flustered girl attempted to explain, “I can move around because I wear a bra”, of course she doesn’t know what a bra is… “When you had them your whole life you just get use of them “Mayu sounded a bit nervous when she tried to answer Lunia’s next question, ”And honestly Lunia, I am just as confused how men find breasts attractive, they just…um... ”. Luckily the attendant stepped in to explain it to Lunia.

Mayu was glad the attendant was there to save the day, but when the attendant spoke about changing the way Lox would look at them, Mayu’s mouth dropped. “W-What?! How could you say such a crazy thing! That cat nearly kills me every moment I am with him! He is so rude, and very cold. Why would I want to seduce him?” Mayu was appalled, she hadn’t once thought about having feelings for someone who constantly was knocking her into the ground. But his power… Secretly Mayu loved the idea of a man with so much power. With her ego has high as it was she only would lust for someone with power. Getting so lost in thought she realized Lunia and the attendant had left. She ran after them.

Catching up with them, she nearly passed out after seeing sensual clothing and items. She looked around in wonder at all the items. Mayu was always too busy helping her father to even really think about having a relationship. Also most men wouldn’t want to be with some as stubborn as her. Looking to Lunia as she lifted up the love cuffs as the attendant explains. You have to be kidding lady… “Let me make this clear, I am not interested in him and he isn’t in me. Plus if I wanted to seduce him I could do that easily”, the vain girl huffed in disappointment.

Mayu looked in horror when the attention stuffed bags of kinky items. Growing extremely angered, her dark blue aura flashed for a moment. I cannot believe she is giving us these items to possibly sleep with him! I could possibly use it as an advantage though. Maybe he will stop being such a hard ass. Taking a deep breath she relaxed. Forcing a smile she thanked the attendant, “Thanks for all the help. I am sorry to be snappy I am in a bad mood. I’m also arrogated at him right now.”

When Lunia and Mayu walked away, she pulled Lunia to the side. Whispering to make sure Lox wouldn’t hear if he was around, “Don’t you think if we use any of these items he is going to kill us? Even if it works, when he snaps too her is going to rage on us. I am not going to get my ass kicked because we messed with him. “ As much as Mayu lusted for Lox’s power, she did fear him. Knowing that they should get back, “if you want to mess with him fine. Just be careful because I’m staying out of it. I want to one day beat him fair and square but I can’t do that if I’m dead”. Slipping away, she walked over towards Lox and asked, “Could we please go back to the tower? Before I go crazy?” I think I’m the only slightly sane one here…

With the two of them finished it didn't take Lox any longer than a few heart beats to teleport them back to his gardens to leave them to their own devices as he walked away still muttering darkly. When he was out of ear shout Lunia turned to look at Mayu with a devious smile across her face as she dug around in both bags until she came across the little bottle labeled neko nip. "Come on Mayu, you know you want to screw with that bastard considering how often he chooses to hand us our own asses and then walks away all high and mighty like it was nothing. We may be his disciples but dammit if he can't dig his head out of his own ass!"[/color] Shaking the little bottle in front of her Lunia lead Mayu into the tower and their shared room to drop off all of the stuff they had picked up at the market before flopping tiredly on the bed and smiling wickedly at the mage. "Even the store attendant jumped at the chance to get that cat back with all the extra stuff she gave us! Tell me Mayu what's the best time in the world to slip something in that cat's food or drink? You saw him this morning when he barely stumbled into the kitchen for breakfast.... That kitty drinks cream every morning when he comes down to eat in the morning and he barely knows where's he's at let alone if someone's added something extra to his milk."

There came a soft little knock at the door which promptly set Lunia's tail to puffing out in shock at the possibility Lox was coming in but when the door opened to reveal Reesa carrying some other bags for the two of them. "These came in the mass teleporter from Lox's clothing store but since there's bra's in here I'm assuming their for the two of you." Lunia took the chance to whisper quietly in the spider woman's ear about the next day, and after turning beat read for a moment look at the two of them in mild shock and disbelief. "That kitten has a mean streak in him a mile long... and if he ever does find out about this there's a damn good chance he'll go berserk but..... when he gets all pissy like that he usually goes up into his room and tinkers around with the little gadgets he makes and tests new potions out from either old books or new recipies he comes up with himself. I'll have nothing to do with this, but.... sometimes the new potions he makes does weird things to him... so if he did act funny for a while he might just blame the potions...." With that Reesa promptly left the two of them as Lunia floundered on the bed giggling and rolling about in excitement. "See! The bastard even screws around with potions when he's pissed off! And he is definitely pissed tonight! Come on Mayu.... I don't want to be the only one getting revenge, especially since he seems to love knocking you about and tearing your dresses up for a free peep show. Just this once we can have a little revenge for all the messed up shit he's put us through!"

Digging through the other bags Lunia looked at all the other stuff that the store attandent had so kindly tacked onto Lox's bill and was honestly confused and disturbed by some of it. There were a lot of toys.... some for men, some for woman, and some for both along with various restraints, collars, and cuffs that were all lined with silk or soft fur to keep from injuring the person being held down. "Hey Mayu.... I just realized since he seems to be a cat why not add a bit of cat nip to his milk as well? I haven't ever seen it being done to a normal cat but I've heard it makes them somewhere between stoned, happy, and crazy all at the same time... Where probably not going to have another chance to do this so why not go all the way with it?"
