Since birth Alana has been forced by her father to dress and act as a male, on order to make their country believe a male heir had been born to the royal family.

Darren yawned as he walked down the hallway to the dining hall for breakfast. His maid had awoken him without entering his room, as any and all servants were warned not to. He had come up with the excuse of not wanting servants to see his morning problem in order to cover up his true secret. When he arrived at the dining hall he noticed his father and mother on opposite ends of the table as usual.
