"Good day gentlemen. And as always I appreciate your continued support." Professor Bay smiled politely as she escorted the project leads from her laboratory. She maintained that smile until the moment her benefactors left the room and the sliding door sealed her inside.
"Pricks..." She groaned and pulled the band off her hair, letting it fall down her back, it's silky pink color almost reaching her waist. Combined with her dark skin and pale red eyes she had quite an exotic appearance compared to many of the scientists in this facility, at least the female ones whom lead their own research teams. Women didn't tend to make it far in the field of Fringe science, but she had not only made it, but surpassed all expectations. Her black business suit helped make her appearance a little more uniform, but she'd been told on many occasions it only made her more distracting to the male staff. It didn't matter to her. She enjoyed physical interaction when she wanted it, not when men gawked at her. She didn't live for such things, she lived for all the incredible things she did in the lab. The mountains she had hurtled to get where she was were more important to her.
"That's right my dear....we're going to reshape the world aren't we?" She said affectionately as she came to stand in front of a massive cylinder filled with a clear gelatinous fluid. Suspended in that fluid was the product of five years of research and development. It was humanoid, loosely female. She had been tasked with creating a type of supersoldier that could be infiltrated into enemy countries, breed sleeper agents at profound rates, as well as carry out high risk missions no commando units could ever accomplish. It looked female for the most part. But it's skin was deep violet, and large wings sprouted from it's back. The wings had been an accident, a product of using the DNA of a specific breed of African Bat which could hold numerous toxins, diseases, and viruses in it's body safely. It wouldn't be able to fly, but it would glide quite well. It also had large claws at the tips of it's fingers and toes, as well as sharp, bony protrusions for natural defensive purposes. Probably the most notable of it's features, was the large pair of balls hanging between it's legs, and the thick sleeve right above it. Because of that addition, the super soldier would be able to breed at astounding rates, impregnating females dozens per day if that was it's focus.
"No one is going to be able to stop you pet...and I'm responsible for that." She hugged herself to the tank, sighing deeply. Still barely believing that the project would be out of her hands in a matter of hours. In fact by the end of the week, she'd be starting a whole new project, and this one would be out in the world, doing what she made it to do. She couldn't help but feel a little maternal over it, as she had given five years to it's conception. Anxiety was present as well. She had been considering waking it up early, just to make sure it was going to behave properly. That would be against security protocol, but it wouldn't be the first time she'd shirked procedure to get results....
