It had been years sense the sun had shown on earth. The crumbling masses of humanity were nothing more than over grown rocks and chasms that were used for the huddling masses of small animal life and what humans were left over.
It was what the Christians had called the end of days. The seas had boiled over, wars were left unchecked and a new plague had killed off the majority of the weak. Third world countries stood like a leaf in the breeze to the newest disease before falling into silent death before the blaring news screens around the world. Fear had turned everything chaotic and men became either mouse or monsters. People killed people - and for what? The sole need to have all the food in the deserted super market.
What happened next was just as cruel. Demonic forces rose from the land lead by hell hounds and imps to the gigantic mastering forces that beckoned them forward. Hells fire rained down and humanity either succumbed to their force or perished. Slavery was something they had to bow to now - it was no longer seen as something deplorable...it was livable. The new masters of this world were the demons.
Now it was sport to find the remaining humans and sport was something he oh so happily played. Merihim - one of the older demons roamed with planet tirelessly, searching and scowering the remains of human society to find those innocents to pluck from their nest of death.
He was tall. 6'5 with grissled features. He was not hidious by any means - simply scared to the point of veteran status. Eye was covered with a patch of thick leather while the other was a bright blazing orange like that of a vulture. It matched those dusty, massive wings that billowed out behind him like a mockery of a angel while fingers held talons only a demon could possess. Body was cloaked in leathers a tough cloths that helped keep the whipping sands from aggrivating battle marred flesh.
The search was on.
