The city was large and full of citizens going about there day. Humans and pokemorphs alike both dwelt in the big city of "Poketropolis". Each equals to one another, though despite it the traditional need to at times partner with one another still was preserved even after so long since the old days. Battling however was much less a need, and at times was not even present in the city anymore. The simple need of social interaction between the two species was still strong, not to mention the attraction at times. It was not uncommon for the two species to mingle intimately, and was no longer a fact that had to hide behind closed doors all the time. This was a place of equal footing for everyone, and it was a nice place indeed.

Aiden walked down the sidewalk back to his home in the city. Apartments where more plentiful then actual housing here, but his family was financially stable, not to say they where rich, they just did not make poor choices and thus could have a small little house of there own, well truthfully it was a detached condo but it was nicer then having to hear voices through the walls late at night. He was young, just barely old enough to go off on his own, and he had a fruitless day of finding an apartment to live in. He still lived with his parents, and older sister, who had a place of her own but at times would stay over, to look after her "little brother" or simply to try and hook him up with a nice girl. He was not very successful at that, and he pondered the thought as he ran a hand through his dark hair and sat in his room finally, his folks where out, probably shopping, and his sister was no where in site, the fact he was alone at home was actually rather nice. He laid back on his bed to close his eyes, thinking he rest them before heading out once more.

(Hope this is ok)

(Tis fine.)

It was recently that pokemorphs had started to be viewed as equal to humans, and the city of Poketropolis was home to the biggest population of pokemorphs as of now. Usually humans with othr humans and the same with pokemorphs, though there would occasionally be humans with a pokemorph. If that were the case, they were most likely partners. Before, it was unheard of to be in such a relationship with a pokemorph, though times had changed and the idea was not so absurd now. Most believed that an intimate relationship between a human and pokemorph would strengthen their bond, proving useful in battles or competitions and the like. However, battling was not so common nowadays, though some competitions were still held annually. And it was here in Poketropolis that Aiden and his family had decided to live, surrounded with an abundance of pokemorphs and humans alike.

Aiden's peaceful moment would soon be ruined however. The front door of the home flew open, slamming quite loudly against the wall. "Ugh...Mel, how many times do we tell you not to slam the door like that?" The voice was from Aiden's father, who was addressing his older sister, Melanie. "Come on Dad. We've been looking forward to this for a while, and I doubt Aiden is even ready yet. If you keep being so lenient with him, he won't be able to do anything for himself." Melanie had been known to do some outrageous things, but she was doing her best for Aiden's sake. "Well, try not to overdo it, it doesn't look good to our guests. Now go on and make sure he's up." With a little shrug she quickly headed up to his room, pushing the door open and seeing him on the bed. "Ah! So you are just laying around huh? Well nap time's over bud! We got guests remember?"

He stirred as the front door hit the wall as it flew open, he rolled in bed, putting his pillow over his head though as he tried to go back to sleep. It wasn't long until his door was open. He wished he had a lock on it but that just wasn't the case. "Not for another while," he told her wanting to sleep, he hadn't been having a good week, he hated the heat wave that had hit the city, and today was one of those rare, nice and cool days and he wanted to enjoy a couple of hours of it. He was however soon pulled out of bed and onto the floor, as she yanked the sheets out from under him. "Fine...geez," he grunted blinking a few times and yanwing. His hair was a bit of a mess. "I'll go wash up."

He got a change of cloths, something nice to wear, and not his normal casual attire. He didn't know why his sister was so excited about this but he knew if he didn't at least try to make a good impression she would probably make his life miserable for a few days. He went into the bathroom to rinse off, and comb his hair into a more managable style that looked nice. He brushed his teeth to make sure it smelled nice. He looked alright, he was never one to get all fancy and such but he was at least nice looking. "Happy?" he asked her when he had finished and cae downstiars where they where all waiting.

Melanie was well aware of how lazy her brother could be, especially when the days got nice and cool like today. She had to admit that she also wanted to get a few more hours in, but she couldn't possibly still be asleep with guests roaming around the house. They'd find her eventually. And so, she had to take matters into her own hands, literally. Grabbing the bed sheets, she gave them a firm yank, dragging her brother right out onto the bedroom floor. "Don't give me that. You should be thanking me. I'm sure you'd rather be woken up by me instead of Mom or Dad. Try not to take too long, all right?" With that, she went right back down to confirm her brother was alive. Of course, she had to make sure to check on him every now and then just to be sure he wasn't napping.

She managed to catch him as he stepped out of the bathroom, looking all neat and proper. "This is new." she said with a little grin. "Completely different from that sleepy face I saw not too long ago. Now that you're all fixed up, let's go down already." The two headed down into the living room where everyone else was. Aiden would already recognize their father's business partner Mr. Carter and his wife, both being monthly guests it seemed. Usually whatever they talked about wouldn't be of much interest to Aiden or Melanie, but there was obviously something different this time around. Seated next to Mrs. Carter was a young woman of some sort, though her physical appearance would perhaps surprise them. Her body was covered in a coat of light brown fur, with large pointy ears and a bushy tail. She had been put in a long pure white dress, looking a little embarrassed to wear something like that. Around her neck appeared to be a necklace with numerous colorful charms. It was an Eevee girl, and while pokemorphs like her were common here in Poketropolis, her kind was uncommon.

"Ah, Aiden's up. Looks like everyone's here now." Mr. Carter caught a quick glance over at the Eevee girl, who seemed to be looking curiously over at Aiden and Melanie. "Your father and I were just talking about how business had been going, and we were just getting into how we met this young lady. Go on, introduce yourself." She seemed to hesitate a little, but she soon stood to her feet, hands at her front. "My name is Evaline. P-pleased to meet you all." Aiden's father let out a little chuckle. "There's no need to be so uptight. By the way, Aiden here is quite intrigued with pokemorphs like yourself. Since you are visiting for a while, we can have him show you around a little. That shouldn't be a problem right?" Evaline blinked, staring back over at Aiden as if looking for confirmation. It was all pretty sudden, being introduced to this lovely young pokemorph. And within seconds of her introduction, he was asked to give her a little tour of Poketropolis.

It was obvious the moment he was dragged downstairs that something caught his eye. He always had a deep fascination with pokemorphs, the female ones of course. They just appealed to him much more then a normal girl, normal to him was a bit boring and not very eventful. He had tried going normal, but the one girl he did date a year back lost interest, and he lost interest in her. It was a rather queer thing but that was just how he was. Now as he went to meet there guest, he found himself very much interested in her. She was cute, very cute, her figure enticing and nice. He felt his pulse quicken and secretly he was glad he had washed up, he hoped this made a good first impression.

He was quiet as his father spoke. His dad always lacked the sort of tact Aiden thought was appropriate for meeting someone for the first time, but he did not say anything simply because his mouth had gone a bit dry. He needed no introduction as his father already covered that as well rather bluntly. As she stood up he found himself looking her over quickly, she was very cute, she seemed to meek and alluring at the same time. Her name was nice too. "Nice to meet you too," he said offering a very small smile, afraid if he smiled to much it would seem rather strange. This time he shot his father a look as he went on, blunt and unrefined as always, it was very awkward. He wondered if this was some sort of match making thing they had concocted for him. "Yeah sure, not a problem at all," he said quickly seeing her eyes on him, it was literally like being in the spot light.
