Tim sat on a bench near the town fair wanting for his friend to arrive. They had agreed to wait for each other before roaming around at all the stands. Once a year a traveling fair stopped at the park in their town. It had a few rides and different food vendors but the main appeal was the shops. There were your basic crafts, paintings, and clothes but sometimes you could find an exotic stand selling suposedly magical or cursed items. These were the ones that they wanted, most of the time they were fakes and didn't work ut just the whole atmoshere around the stand was enough for them. Tim was your basic 17 year old teenager, interested in girls, video games and the bizzare. He was kinda short for his age but lean with no real muscle nor fat. He had short black hair and green eyes and was atleast somewhat handsome, though still single. He checked his phone as it was now five minutes past the meet up time and he was ready to go.

Keegan was running late, and he knew it. He hadn't meant to, but he had gotten up late, and now was running late after his shower. Tugging on his jeans and a t-shirt, he ran a hand through his sandy blond hair, letting it fall back into his chocolatey brown eyes. Grabbing his phone, he held it in his mouth as he stuffed his pockets with money, change, driver's license. He really needed a wallet. Maybe he would find one today.

After that, he stood and then stretched, jamming his feet into his shoes, and running out of his house. At seventeen Keegan was a guy who knew where he was going in life. He had his college plans worked out - had already been accepted - and knew what he wanted to do in life. Single, yes, but that was perfectly fine by him. Running towards the fair, he stumbled and then found Tim. "Hey."he greeted, raising a hand with a grin.

"Funny how someone with so many plans is always late." Tim joked as he got up off the bench stretching abit over doing it to make it seem like he was alter than he was. Unlike his friend Tim had a very laid back approach to life and almost stuck to no plans, he had been acepted into a college but still didn't know what to study but it would come to him. "Alright lets go." Tim said as they headed into the fair wandering through all the stands. He bought a few things here there mainly an old horror book and pretzel considering he skipped out on breakfast knowing he would be eating here.

After what seemed like an hour he spotted his dream stand on the edge of the fair grounds."Lets go there." He said pointing off in the ditance and began running abit. It was a unique stand that was merely an old covered wagon with a few ttables infront of it. It was runned by an old gyspsy or atleast looked the part very well."wow so these are magical?"He asked her excitedly. "Ofcourse my dear though cursed may be a better word."

Keegan rolled his eyes, "yeah, yeah. I overslept." He laughed a bit, and then looked his friend over. He would never truly admit it, but he honestly didn't know how he and Tim had come to be such good friends. They were practically polar opposites, he was organized, and delicate, somewhat like a girl in a boy's body, ironically.

Looking around, a wicked grin covered his face as he saw the wagon. "It looks perfect."he commented as they made their way over to the booth. He began eagerly tracing his finger along the different items on the tables.

Tim began going through pretty much everything from the books to statues, though he had most of that stuff. For Tim thier friendship was almost perfect even if they were oppistes they had smiliar taste and the complimented each other well Keegan made loose plans for them and kept Tim from doing too reckless impulses or fixed things when he screwed up badly. He was defiantly going to miss him when they seperated to go to college.

Soon Tim would the perfect thing, on the last table was a set of charm necklaces most looking really cool with charms of dragons and demons or the elements. "Hey Keegan look at these." She said pulling his friend over to show him. Tim had found the one he liked, it had a sexy demoness on it in a sedcutive pose."how much?"He asked the shop keeper showing it to her. "Twenty but be careful for you will see that form in your life soon." She responded her wording was vague and left him confused thinking it meant he would run into a demoness. Either way he wanted it so he handed her the money.

Keegan laughed as he was pulled over, "really? You're getting pulled in by it?" He was teasing his friend and he laughed a bit, but then he actually looked at them. They were fantastic. His eyes fell upon one, it was simple. A woman with a heart in her hands. He blinked. "How about for that one?" He looked up at the gypsy woman, arching a brow.

"That one is also twenty, but I give you the same warning. In your future, she will be." He rolled his eyes, a big non-believer. He fished out the money and then handed it over.

Tim was actually kinda happy they had gotten the warning, he believed in magic so he half expected something but knew better after a few years of fakes. "Huh she was a charecter maybe we'll be meet two girls like this here." He said laughing abit once they were out of earshot from the gyspsy. He stopped a large mirror and placed the necklace around his neck." not bad, he said playing with it abit. he did feel a quick warmness from it but it had been in the sun for a while so he wrote it oof.

Keegan followed suit and then settled the necklace on him. He sighed and shook his head. "You're such a sucker for these things."he laughed. Sighing, he felt a little warm, but nothing too bad. "Besides, if you found a girl like your necklace, she'd probably eat your soul alive." He laughed and then clapped him on the shoulder. "Come, I'm hungry, let's get a bite."

"come one if nothing they look bad ass, and who knows they may have cool effects to them." He said laughing abit as they walked along togather. He played with his charm abit as they walked seeing how it was growing on him and he liked more. They stopped at the main food area and spilt up as he went and got a burger with chili fries and sat down at a free table and waited for keegan.

He laughed and shrugged. "True, they do look kind of cool."he admitted and then rolled his eyes again. His best friend was really one of a kind, he decided. They were both perfect for each other, in a sense, he guessed. He got a burger as well, but instead of chili fries he just got regular fries and then joined Tim. "You know, the fact that you get suckered into 'magic' is amusing." He made a comment like that every time.

" Sorry mother."Tim joked back at his friends comment seeing how they resembled the lecture he got from his parents on his odd collection."I kmow but something out thier has to been really magical." Tim addded before finishing off his burger. Thier charms would start effecting them. First the lock on the back would be gone making it impossible to remove making sure thier transformations would be complete.

He laughed and shrugged. "Yeah, I think you say that every time." Keegan laughed and then shook his head. He sighed happily, and then went to tuck his necklace into his shirt.
