The water that was quietly running within the private bathroom was turned off, from the shower stepped a man with dark brown hair and steely-blue eyes. His flesh was lightly tanned, with sculpted muscles and a trained abdomen. He covered the lower half of his body with a towel and dried himself off, running a large hand through his hair. It was late at night when Jack Locke finished cleaning himself.
Jack strode into his room, where his eyes flickered to the empty bed. In it, his wife used to sleep until she left them. Until then, they were happy, but now... even his daughter was affected by it. She stayed out at all hours at the night, and it was no different this time. Getting dressed in a tight-fitting black shirt that accentuated his form and tan pants that were neatly buckled with a black belt, he sighed.
Outside his room, he heard the familiar running footsteps of his son, and the pattering of their black Labrador; despite the time (a little after 2:00), he allowed Vincent to stay up until his sister came home. His right hand clenched tightly in anger and walked out of the room, taking his cellphone before walking downstairs, jamming it into his pocket. He waited, leaning against the wall as he stared at the door, waiting silently for her to arrive.
