The Secret Scroll (Kolath x Teacher)

We have all heard the stories of Naruto and those that helped him in his many adventures. But there are many stories that no one has ever told because Naruto wasnâ??t there, and the girls wanted to just forget it happened. It all began with a simple mission, Hinata had been assigned to retrieve a scroll from a temple that it had been kept at, but now was no longer safe for it to stay there.

The mission had been given to her just a day ago. But it wasnâ??t that far to the temple she would already be at it by now. Now all that was left was to get the scroll.

Hinata pushed open the old, dusty doors. There had been no encounters on her journey; she was thankful for that considering she was the only one sent on the mission. Small torches lit the labyrinth of hallways. As she approached the center of the temple, the hallways converged into a much larger room with a sunlight beaming down into a scroll. She approached it carefully, grabbing it with only two fingers as she lifted it from the pedestal.

The wards on the pedestal flashed before disappearing, they had been meant to contain the beast not stop someone from removing the scroll. The maker of the scroll and wards had placed ones over the scroll as well but these were old and nearly worn away both from time and the beasts constant assault as it tried to get out. The only thing that was really keeping it under control was the wards on the pedestal and they were gone now. The beast currently slept but should the last ward be removed it would wake.
