A young woman, a sophomore in high school, was living in one of the crazy families ever created. Lilly was her name, a pretty girl of sixteen, who just wanted to live a normal life. But no, every day she had dozens of oddball men and women in her house talking about demons and such. Her family was made up of cultists, and they hailed a specific demon, a demon they all seemed to fear. Lilly didn't care for the talk of demons, for she was almost positive that they didn't exist. She'd never seen any proof so why should she?
The girl wore her pajamas, a pair of silk white pants, and a matching silk spaghetti strap top, black lace adding a nice touch to the top. Something was happening on the roof of their high rise apartment building. It was just her luck that her entire family lived on different floors of the building. "What is going on.." she said sleepily as she walked into the living room where her mother and father sat. Her mother looked up, wide eyes and fearful, while her father looked proud. "My dear Lilly...." he whispered, standing up and walking over to her. "You're going to make us all so proud..." he whispered. Lilly was ready to question him on what he was talking about, but then a hand clasped over her mouth a nose, a cloth in their hand, and within seconds she was inhaling a strange smell and her vision went black.
The sound of wind woke Lilly up, her eyes fluttering open slowly. "What..." she gasped as she opened her eyes completely. She was chained to concrete work shed on the top of the building. Her arms and ankles were clasped in heavy chains which left her suspended a few feet off the ground and behind her was a large circle, several odd markings surroundings it. There were lanterns and torches around the roof and it wasn't until she saw her family that she realized what was happening. They were all dressed in black hooded cloaks, and they were chanting!! "You're crazy!" she cried, her eyes wide as she looked around. They were giving her up as a sacrifice!! She fought against the chains but it was no use. Lilly couldn't believe it! She was going to die and she hadn't even graduated high school, or gone to prom. Sweat began to form on her forehead, causing her long mahogany hair to cling to her face. She had bright, piercing blue eyes, the color of a tropical sea, and they were filled with fear.
Her father was approaching her with a knife, his lips moving quickly in a chant. This was it. He raised the knife, pressed it against the her abdomen, right below her right breast, and then slashed it down to her left hip bone. The large gash cut open her silky white pajama top, and caused blood to roll down off of her body, her white pants getting destroyed as her blood dripped upon a second circle, one in which the demon would rise from. Lilly was crying, struggling against her restraints and the pain that laced through her. "I hate you!" she cried angrily. Maybe she'd be lucky, maybe the demons really didn't exist and they'd let her down after a few minutes. But her gut told her she wasn't going to be so lucky.
