Lily groaned slightly as she began to wake up, her hand slowly reaching up to rub at her head. "Nnnngh....what....happened....?" The girl winced as she started to open her eyes, a bright light directly above her causing her to close her eyes again. The last thing she remembered was being with her father back on their cargo ship....they were making a pretty routine cargo run from Earth to the Alpha Centurai colony....she had powered up the Hyperdrive like she had a hundred times before, they were about to make the jump and then....then....then she didn't remember anything clearly. All she remembered was a flash, an explosion and then....then nothing. Then she was here, wherever here was. "Nn...." Slowly she began to sat up, still rubbing at her head.
Now that she was sat up, her eyes were able to open and focus a little more, though unfortunately the sight that met her wasn't what she was expecting. Wherever this place was....it certainly wasn't the ship she and her father owned. This seemed much more advanced....it looked like some kind of lab or medical bay. "H-huh....?" Slowly Lily swung her legs around, carefully and slowly getting onto her feet as she stood, her legs shaking a little bit for a few moments until finally she seemed to get stable on her feet. "Where am I....?"
Slowly and carefully the girl looked around, then gasped as she saw a glass door, on the other side of it her father, seemingly unconscious. "D-dad!" The girl quickly hurried over, knocking on the glass. "Dad? Dad can you hear me?" She frowned, looking around to the sides of the door for some kind of control to open it up.
Up in the observation room, a tall, green skinned woman was working at a control panel, checking over the latest readings from the patients, then raised an eyebrow as one of them seemed to spike. "Ah...it looks like one of them is waking up" The woman smiled as she spoke, though to human ears it would sound almost like a throaty clicking noise than real speech. The woman turned to look over at another person in the observation room, her daughter. "Well then, we should go downstairs and see how she's doing. The treatment we gave her doesn't seem to be working unfortunately......I hope we can break the news to her gently..." She sighed and shook her head. "Poor thing must've lost it in the accident that sent her ship here. Come along dear" The woman turned to head for a small elevator in the corner of the room, waiting for her daughter before they headed down into the main medical bay where Lily was still trying to get the door to her father open.
