Kelly couldn't help but yawn slightly as she walked into school, blending rather nicely into the crowd of students, just as she liked. It had been another hectic night last night, things just didn't get any better no matter what she did. You see, Kelly was no ordinary girl. As well as being a high school student, at night she was also a....well...there was no other way to put it, a superhero. Kelly had been born different to other people. At first she had seemed perfectly normal, but as she got older she started to notice....differences. She was stronger than other people, faster, hell on her 10th birthday she had even woken up floating above her bed! Not to mention the time she accidentally slipped infront of the dishwasher and fell straight onto a bunch of upturned knives, only for the knives to bend beneath her skin. Her parents had been freaked out at first of course, but eventually they learned to accept that their daughter was simply different, though they had no real idea why. Maybe Kelly had been exposed to something? Maybe her mother had been exposed to something when she was pregnant....they just didn't know, and Kelly didn't particularly care. She had the power to help people and that was what mattered.
During the day, she was plain old Kelly Summers. By night however, she stripped away the school uniform to reveal the tight, spandex costume she wore beneath to become 'Avenger'. She hadn't come up with the name, the local newspapers had come up with it in a headline as she 'avenged the innocent' and it just kind of stuck. Fortunately, nobody even suspected who she really was. When not out being a hero she always wore glasses, a cliche but it worked. Besides, she was so quiet and kept to herself in school, nobody would even suspect her of being any kind of superhero.

Still, it was hard work, and left very little time for sleep, not to mention no time for any kind of social life. Kelly had no friends to speak of really, and since she was the only superhero in this particular city it wasn't like she could even work with others like her. Unfortunately this led to her being somewhat tired during school, and by the time Kelly reached her locker most of the students were already heading for class. "Man.....that stupid idiot last night...what kind of idiot gives himself the power to control lightning then goes straight to rob a bank without even practicing..." Kelly's hair was still just a tad singed at the ends in some places after she had been hit several times by lightning, not to mention her butt was still just a little sore from being thrown through so many walls. Still, she had managed to stop the self proclaimed 'Electric Man' and send him to the countries supervillain prison, specially made for so called super-criminals.
"Ok.....better get to class before I'm late" By now the corridors were pretty much empty, Kelly turning to head down towards her first class, yawning again as she did, fidgeting just a little to adjust her costume she was wearing beneath her uniform. She always wore it wherever she went...just incase.

James Was one hell of a nerd, always had been and likely always would have been an amazing nerd if something hadn't gone wrong. A life of being pushed around by everyone in high school, the senior who got stuffed into a locker by a sophomore a few weeks ago. This pattern likely would have continued and his life probably would have gone the same way, people assuming he was gay, only having sex one time because he had paid for it. A pathetic life that likely wouldn't have improved until he had gotten to college and been able to really work to improve his life for the eventual career that he would have, eventually he would end up being the CEO of his own company, able to do whatever he liked because he had the money to do so.

Then a few days ago he had been out stargazing and spotted a meteor falling, something so rare that when it had landed close by he had needed to run and get closer to it. That one choice had changed everything for him because the moment he had been able to see the softball size stone fall hit the ground a... ooze had poured from it and over him, sliding into his pores, empowering him as his body swelled with power and his senses were heightened. It hard hurt a great deal but when it was done he had felt different fro ever before, able to do whatever he wanted... everything he had ever desired even for a moment was now within his grasp.

He had taken a little bit of time to get to know what he could do now, learning about the powers that he now possessed, the being that had fused with him seemed to have been instinctively giving him the knowledge that he would need to take advantage of what it could do. IT was urging him to mate, to find someone to grab and drag to the floor, but not just anyone would do, they would need something special, and the masked Hero Avenger seemed like the best possible choice for them. He had followed her, sneaking in the shadows where she wouldn't be able to see him, watching her battle, catching her scent so he would be able to track her. Though he had been out all night he didn't feel even the least bit tired.

After that though he had moved toward the school, things had been a tad distracting so he had run late, having to rush to get to class only to catch a familiar scent in the hall where he was alone with... her... could it be that she was Avenger? A grin split his face far wider then it should as he watched her, ready to make a move toward her, his body slowly stretching and tensing, soon he would jump her... soon he would have what his body needed.

Kelly yawned once more as she rounded the corner, lifting her glasses slightly in order to rub at her eyes whilst she walked. "Man....I'm so tired...I must've barely gotten an hours sleep last night....ugh....why do they always operate at night? Why can't these super villains be more accomodating and work in the evening when I'm not supposed to be sleeping or something..." The girl muttered to herself, thinking she was alone so there wasn't any need to suppress her desire to complain. "And there's been so many lately...Electric Man last night, Crusher the night before that, then that weird cat monster who only hissed and screamed at me during the weekend....ugh....why am I the only superhero in this entire city? Maybe I need to find a partner or a sidekick or something...." She yawned again as she continued her slow walk down the now otherwise empty corridors. She knew she really should be hurrying to class but her body just wasn't motivated enough to do so right now. She had to conserve her energy just incase it was needed for rather more important matters.

"And why these costumes anyway...? Ugh....why wont people take a superhero seriously unless they wear some god awful costume that clings to them like a second skin....?" Kelly reached up to gently tug at the clothing on her shoulder, pulling both her school uniform and the skintight spandex beneath. Sure it was comfortable and easy to move around in, but when you had to wear something over it aswell it got damn hot. With another yawn Kelly stretched her arms up above her, then down to her sides, though rather more quickly than she had intended, accidentally pounding one of the locker doors with her fist, crushing the metal like it was tissue paper. "...Ooops..." Kelly laughed nervously, quickly looking around and behind her to ensure she was alone, before picking up the pace down the corridor a little, going to take a shortcut to class by cutting through the gym, it was never used first period so there shouldn't be anyone in there to ask what she was doing.

He was closing in on the scent of her now, she wasn't nearby but he was drawing in on her, in fact if he was right they were moving toward each other already. Could it be that the masked hero Avenger was a student or perhaps a teacher at this school. What were the odds of that. Even as it randomly crossed his mind immediately it began to calculate the odds without him even wanting too and he pushed the thought aside with a small snarl, this second mind, not fully formed was making things rather difficult for him, it only seemed to be made up of instinct, serving his every need without him even knowing it but at the same time it would also affect him, feeding him urges that were not entirely his own, more animalistic and powerful then they had ever been before. Already he could feel the rush of adrenaline, he was about to enjoy a struggle, to drag his prey down and enjoy it however he liked, to use and abuse that beautiful flesh to satisfy his needs.

Moving toward the gym he could smell her entering the same place, the perfect spot for an ambush. Before she got in there, his fingers flicking off the lights so that only the dim emergency lights were still on. With that flick of a finger the room was filled with shadows, obscuring everything and making James much more difficult to see. It was only then that the change happened, at first it was subtle, his body seeming to stretch and bend, then red liquid poured from his pores and grew thicker, much more viscous... like a slime that coated his entire body. He had grown larger as well, from maybe five foot ten to an easy seven feet tall and though his body was still quite thin in appearance it was covered in corded muscle, making him massively strong and flexible.

Any moment now she would enter and he was ready for her, crouched low on the bleachers and ready to pounce as she entered. “Avenger, come in and play with me.” He hissed, the sound echoing in the dark empty space.

Kelly yawned as she opened the doors to the gym, then blinked as she was met with a room plunged into complete darkness. Even the skylight covers were closed to prevent any sunlight entering the room. The best light was just from the dim red emergency lights, which didn't really help at all. The girl sighed as she stepped into the gym, figuring it would still be easier to cut across even if it was dark, she could still see the emergency light above the opposite door after all. Still.....right now she certainly wished that night vision was one of her powers....would certainly come in handy right now. She did consider zipping across the gym floor....after all with her speed she could be across in a fraction of a second...but no, she quickly decided against that. Whenever Kelly had tried to use her powers just for her own convenience she had almost been caught every time. Sure, being outed wouldn't be the end of the world...but it would certainly prevent her from having anything like a normal life. At least right now she could pretend she was just a regular person.

"Ah well..." The girl started walking across the dark gym, her shoes squeaking on the floor, the noise echoing all around the otherwise empty room, or at least empty as far as Kelly was aware. "It's still a shortcut I guess....but geez....I wish they wouldn't close the sunlight covers on a night. Ugh...." The girl grumbled and adjusted the books she was carrying as she continued to walk across the large gym, blissfully unaware she was being watched.

His vision was so much sharper then ever before, his glasses were no longer needed and he could make out every single detail in the gym, from the dust in the furthest corners to the way that his soon to be victims hips swayed as she walked across the gym floor on her way to her class. He recognized her now that he could see her, it seemed almost obvious right now that the scent and his eyes were both telling him who she was, Kelly from a few of his classes and the subject of more then one of his fucked up fantasies. This fantasies could become the truth now, he had the power, he was at least as strong as she was and he hadn't explored everything the symbiosis would allow him to do. He couldn't fly though, at least he hadn't figured out a way to pull that off just though perhaps he would be able to use the symbiote to form some wings to allow him to fly, at that very moment he was able to form it into small tendrils that were emerging and shrinking back into his body, waving about and grasping at the air.

Low to the ground now and practically crawling he crept up behind her, the claws that he had formed were clicking slowly over the hard wooden floors leaving small nicks behind with each and every step closer. “Heros should be more alert.” He hissed, the only real warning that was given before he struck, leaping at her with his powerful lets as his claws flexed out over her back to tear away at her clothing. “Especially when confronted with someone who wishes to do her so much harm, turn and face me Kelly... your virtue is at stake.” As he spike his tongue snaked out over his lips, massively long and thick, drool dripping from his now fanged maw.

"Hm?" The first thing Kelly heard was a strange clicking noise suddenly starting behind her, like something hard and sharp was moving across the hard wooden gym floor. "Hello?" She glanced around, at first assuming that perhaps a stray cat had somehow wandered into the gym and the sound was its claws on the floor. That idea however was quickly dashed when she heard a sudden voice, though it sounded....strange...almost.......inhuman? "What....?" Karen began to turn again, the echo of the voice causing it to sound like it was coming from all around her, making it impossible for her to locate whover was talking until it was too late. With a yelp Karen felt something on her back, then felt her school uniform being ripped and torn away, though still leaving her in the skintight spandex costume.

"Ah!" Normally someone jumping her would just bounce off of Kelly due to her super strength, but whoever, or whatever, this was clearly had strength of its own, able to knock Kelly forward and almost off her feet. "Y-you....who...who are you? What are you?!" Kelly whirled around, taking a few steps back and flexing slightly, then drew her arms back, ready to fight. Clearly, whoever this was either knew her secret identity or had simply assumed her to be Avenger from the start. Either way there wasn't any point in hiding her abilities now. "Show yourself! What do you want?!"
