(The Xenomorph that is in the room with Andol at the end is not the one your going to be playing as. You know, I left you some room to save the day or do what you felt would make things interesting. The Xenomorph is going to have to get Andol to trust him after all. Oh and do you mind the name Experiment 17 or just 17. You can change it if you want.)

In the silent gloom of space which seemed to span on. There was a single speak of light that floated through it, but as one got closer to this light, they found only a large hulk of metal, than had lights on. The feeling of gloom that this ship had given off was one of the one of sadness. It seemed that this ship was one in which things went on it inside its metal hall's was simply that. Things that where secret, and dangerous, with no regard for future human life. Yet there seemed to be one shining bit of light. It showed whenever two hands, that where completely differnt touched on a piece of glass. It was shown when to big wide black eyes looked into an eyeless face, which only hissed before sniffing and continuing to stare back. It was shown as the curious staring went until it was interrupted, and an angry hiss was given not towards both the one interrupter, and the one who had been interrupted form his curious staring. No it was given most viciously towards the one interrupting. That shining light only ever was there for a few moments, but it was there. Though it was the only thing. As the floating metal dungeon floated through the air.

A young lithe man moved through the halls of the ship after having done his duty for the day, and he was now at this moment sneaking to his favorite place on the ship. He was going to sneak in to look at the Xenomorphs. They scared him greatly because he knew exactly what they were capable of doing, the Company had drilled it into their head, after all the accidents that had happened in the past where they had tried and failed to keep live specimens of the creature. It was only now that for any extended time had they been able to keep them caged, though not many called the one year they had been like this a success. Andol had been on the ship for 6 months and had been looking at the creatures for about 3. Yet there was one he was curious about most of all. It was Experiment Number 17.

He was not really sure if that was appropriate name for it, but still it was in cage number 17 and unlike the rest of the creatures this one was not as scary, though that was only because of the way it acted. When it came to looks he could not tell the difference. He began to wonder for a moment though why he had not been caught yet. Normally he never got to look in the cages and the fact their where no guards was something that he found odd. He soon though found himself at the cage as he came up too it to look in. Yet when he approached what he found made his eyes grow wide as the klaxons’ began to sound into his ears, all it took was Andol seeing the open door at the side of the cage as well as the human blood scatter on the glass, and he took off running down the hall, it was only moments later that the ship was rocked by what sounded like something docking with them. Yet it was only moments later the sound of RED ALERT rang out, Andol knew whatever had docked with them, was probably not something good. He continued to run after picking himself off the floor, and so found his way into his room, as he ran over to the corner and after grabbing his gun, he crouched down and waited for the escort that would take him off the ship to arrive. Though he knew the truth, he was a dead man.

It was only moments later that the power suddenly cut out, and the lights with it. Andol was left blind as he could barely see anything. Though what he heard almost made him piss in his pants, as he heard one of the panels form the roof drop to the floor. Followed by the noise of a something else following into the room, the breathing, and the almost silent little drips of moisture that would hit the floor, as well as very soft footfalls with the sound of sniffing came along. Andol knew one of the creatures was in here with him. He just imagine the feeling of those longs strands of drool hitting his legs right before he died. He just curled up and tried to stay quite to extend his life, for just a few more minutes.

For the Xenomorphs aboard, this ship could be most closely considered a living Hell. Many humans, a majority, if not all; could not understand this. They didn't know Xenos were sentient beings because they just shot on sight because of their looks. They didn't know that Xenos were not naturally this aggressive because their never took the time to find out. Yes, the humans aboard this ship frequently abused the Xenos held 'prisoner', and even had tank-bred a few of the aliens. They would experiment on them, jab needles, do autopsies, find ways to kill them easier than bullets. It was a sickening process that was not for the faint of heart, and it rapidly expanded their hate towards humans.

This applied to all but one human, and all but one Xenomorph.

Experiment 17, as he was called, understood the humans' actions for one reason, and one reason only. Xenomorphs rapidly aged in the beginning of their life, meaning a three day old would look fully grown, and from there it would barely age at all. Each Xeno could live for hundreds of years, if not a thousand. This is why most Xenos attacked on sight; they were too young to understand the humans acted not on aggression, but out of fear. 17's birth name was Hr'nithliss, but humans didn't know or care. All except for that one boy, Andol. The one who looked not with disgust or hate, but rather with
curiosity.

And 17 understood him.

Of course, he could not communicate though. For a Xeno to communicate with another species, he first had to make physical contact. Then, and only then could he connect their minds and speak freely back and forth. 17 often watched the human in interest of touching him, feeling him, as to speak. To know why this one human was so much different. And he could see, could sense the human's
sympathy, Andol's sympathy. He knew damned well that Andol cared about him. Cared about the Xenomorphs, here and all on general. Somehow, he knew Andol understood what most humans didn't.

Xenomorphs didn't want to fight.

But this was different for the other aliens aboard. After trying to drug number 5 for experimentational purposes, the guard had been swiftly murdered and devoured. After this, 5 had made his way into the framing of the ship in hopes to cause as many casualties as possible. 5 was only 10 days old. After the power cut off, he dropped the ceiling, sensing a human being. Making something akin to an evil smirk, he circled stealthily around the human, waking until tensions peaked to devour him. Then, everything went haywire. 17 was intelligent enough to undo his door lock after the power had gone out, escaping and charging. Looking at first he was going for the human, until it became clear. He tackled 5 back and pinned him to a wall, growling. 17 was some 150 human years old, just over 20 if you calculated the slow aging process. He tossed 5 into his cage and gave a slash with his razor sharp tail for good measure. He made sure 5 was out for the moment, unconscious. The Xeno then returned to the human, resting a hand on his shoulder.

And the connection sparked.

"You can hear me, yes? What do they call you, human?" 17 asked using telepathy, his mind already formulating questions. He kept the hand there although it was no longer necessary. His hand was very strong, but gentle on his shoulder at the same time.
