Meh.
Noah sighed softly to himself as he closed his dorm door. He looked down the halls of the University of the Gifted, a school founded for those who were... different than most of society. And Noah really did feel different. Being an anthro husky, and currently being on the ceiling, one couldn't really call him 'normal'. He didn't want to be normal, though. He enjoyed being different; to an extent.

He dropped to the floor, landing on his feet. He walked down the hall with some of the other students, going to class. The husky hurred softly to himself as he approached the door for his first class. He rested his hand on the knob for a moment before opening the door, walking into a crowd of other students. He found a seat and sat, alone and a bit away from the others.

Kilara looked around as she made her way down the hall. Everyone was different here and she loved it. Normal people were everywhere so to her it meant something to be out there and unusual. The purple fox opened the door to her class, being careful not to hit anyone with the door. A few people smiled at her but that was it. Her tail swished behind her as she made her way to the back of the class, near a husky guy that was sitting nearly in the corner. "Hey." She said grinning.

One of Noah's ears twitched slightly as he heard the door open. He didn't make a move to look up or anything. He just rested his head in his hands, with his elbows pinned on the desk. He finally looked up when he heard a feminine voice, finding apparently... the professor. A purple fox? Well, that was certainly different. But what could one expect in a school such as this? Everyone was so exotic.

"Hi," he said meekly as he looked up at her face, wearing a small smile. He took his head out of his hands and let his arms rest on the desk. "You're... the professor?"

"Well that's not a problem is it?" She asked meekly waiting for the rest of the class to appear. This was one of her favorite things to do to the small classes she had. Hiding in the back to see if anyone could spot her. Of course she only did this the first day.

"Not at all," Noah replied, smiling a little. "Your actually pretty young for a professor. Not what I expected at all, really. You... you really blend in." He looked around the class. No one had yet to realize she was the one teaching the class. The husky smiled softly, this was actually sort of funny, seeing as how everyone saw her another student.

"If you want I can tell you about it after class." She offered taking note that most of her class had arrived she smiled to him and stood up walking up to the class. She wrote out 'Ms. Kilara Davidson' on the white board. "Hello everyone. Welcome to X-Factor Psychology. This class is here to teach you about what types of things trigger your abilities so that you'll have a better handle on them."

Noah smiled. "Sure. It's.. better than being lonely, like my usual day." He shrugged. He had grown used to it. The husky watched her go to the board, as she got a few odd stares from
students. But still, they listened. And so did Noah. Questions assimilated as she mentioned the subject, but he would wait for her lesson to be done.

The class was an hour long and she pretty much just lectured and gave an overview of what they would learn. After she was done she sat on her desk saying bye to her students. She looked over to the Husky, Noah. Her tail swishing behind her happily. "So what were we going to talk about?"

Noah didn't follow anyone out, just pretending to be slow at putting away his things. Once everyone had left, he pocketed his hands and walked to the front of the room, sitting on a student's desk opposite to hers. "I think the topic was somewhere along the lines of how you are such a young professor. You... you look the age of your students."

She grinned. "Well. For starters I just age slower. I'm not sure why but also because I'm younger than most of the other teachers." She explained.

[Sorry it's short, trying to think of how to get this going.]

[no problem]
Noah smiled softly, his shy personality edging away a little. "Well, quite obviously you're younger. You're probably the best looking teacher here." The husky gave her a small smirk before leaning back against his desk, palms pressed to the surface behind him. "Age slower? Really?... that's actually quite interesting," he said. "Is it a power of yours? Or just a side effect?"

She shrugged slightly as her tail swayed behind her. "I'm not sure. I know I don't control it though. Actually I have the power of hypnosis in a sense. There is no real term for it yet." She said softly ignoring him coming onto her.

Noah raised an eyebrow curiously, interested at this point. "Hypnosis? How so?" he asked, tail wagging slightly behind him. The husky shifted his weight a little on his palms awkwardly as he waited for her answer, smiling.

Kilara willed herself into his mind. On the outside all he saw was her smiling. She said softly in his mind, "Calm young one. There is nothing to be excited about. You must stay calm." Her voice in his head sounded alittle older but it was still her voice.

Noah found himself lost in her eyes as he heard the voice, the smile slowly fading into a more monotone, peaceful expression. He blinked and stopped hearing the voice, gripping his head softy. "Okay... that's amazing and freaky. I've never had anyone in my head before."

She laughed softly. "Thanks." Kilara motioned to the door and turned to him as a few students piled in. "You should head to class I don't want you to be late."

[If you want we can fast forward to just parts that had to do with them.]

[Yeah, that'll work ^_^]

Noah shrugged and gathered his stuff. "It was great talking to you though," he said, slinging his pack over his shoulder before leaving. Noah carried out his daily schedule, and before he knew it school was out for the day. The husky traversed the halls alone, en route to his dorm.

Kilara sighed to herself as the final bell rang. She was probably just as happy as her students that the day was over. She pulled out her book that she'd started a week before and opened the windows of the room.

She was the only one who actually recognized he was there. The only one who really talked to him. Some teachers didn't even notice him! Sure, he sat in the back of the room because of his awkwardly shy personality towards most. Still, there remained the fact that he was quite lonely.
So naturally, he returned.

"You have a minute?" he asked as he poked his head in the door of her classroom. Kilara's classroom.

Kilara jumped some at hearing another voice. "Oh! Noah. Yeah, come on in." She said getting her footing again after nearly falling out of her chair.
