Since the sister is "inexperienced" and is already a social outcast do you think it would be appropriate to mix in some of your X-Men
flavor to the plot? The brother could already be attending Xavier's school and be home for summer / winter break. The sister has not shown any signs of her mutation, but that could be the result of her closeted personality and inexperience with romance suppressing the changes.
