Alice frowned as her wrists were tied together, but at least Jaycn didn't seem thrilled either. She let him lead her along through the woods, he seemed to know all the paths that wouldn't completely kill her legs. But as they approached his village she started to hear noises. Her heart began to race, and she felt herself instinctively get closer to the Naga pulling her around. When she saw the fist other naga, she almost screamed. That vile look in his eyes. Like she was the next meal. Alice wanted to cling to Jaycn's arm, but she knew she couldn't. She didn't want to screw up whatever plan he had.
When she was pulled into the center hut, Alice's eyes locked onto the elder Naga for a moment, before she averted them. She didn't want to cause disrespect or anything of that sort before Jacyn had a chance to help her get home. When she was hissed at, Alice cringed, fearing the worst. She kept her head down for their entire conversation trying to seem unimposing, less of a threat. But finally the woman said she could stay, Alice held her breath, letting out a relieved sigh as soon as they were outside of her hut.
When they finally got to his hut Alice looked around, feeling a small pang of pity in her gut. He really wasn't well liked was he? But he seemed so kind, it didn't make sense that the others would dislike him. As soon as the restraints were off her wrists she stood on her toes and wrapped her arms around his neck. She held him in an embrace for a moment, whispering "Thank you." Before she pulled away, red faced.
"S-sorry." She stuttered sheepishly, looking down and playing with her hair. "Don't worry, I don't really plan on going out there." She said softly before she sank down to the ground against the wall. Pulling her knees up to her chest she wrapped her arms around them, but kept her eyes averted. She wasn't sure how he was going to react to that hug. It had just been instinct, something she would have done to anyone who had helped her, but she was scared it would be seen as a bad thing.
