Charles, or Charlie as most of his friends called him, was a true nerd.
He was legally blind without his glasses, and wore thick, black framed lenses that hid his incredibly blue eyes. They were crystal clear, like the ocean, and shone brilliantly at almost all hours of the day. The rest of him was a little less geeky. He wasn't muscular, but neither was he fat. In fact he was a pretty good runner, but not very good at any other sports. The main reason he was a nerd, was simple, he was extremely good with computers. There was just nothing about them that he could not fix, create, or do exactly whatever he wanted to do with. Of course, that did not help him meet any girls, which was what really made him a nerd. He hadn't had a girlfriend since Junior High, and even then they'd only gone to two dances before she 'fell in love' with some stud footballer.
It had taken his friend Ronald two hours to convince him to go to the big bash that was going on after the football game.
But finally he gave in, just because Ronny was kind of crazy and would probably get into trouble if he didn't go. So he went. His tall, lanky, rather awkward frame topped with moppy blond hair. At least he didn't have braces anymore, and his acne had cleared up the year before. In fact, girls didn't just look away from him anymore. Sometimes they looked, but they just never said anything. He really didn't mind, computers were what took up most of his time anyways, with a sigh. He got something to drink, and checked his facebook from his iPhone.
"Hello?"
"Huh," He looked up, right into the beautiful face of a girl he'd never seen before, or at least he thought so. "Hey, you are...?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.
