Of course, there had been so many rumors about vampires being real. Creatures of the night some people called them. She didn't really believe in all of that fantasy stuff. It was only rumors, besides. She would have to see one and their fangs to believe they actually existed and were real things.

It was late one evening, around seven. Adis Grayson was walking home from dinner with her friends. They had eaten at the French Bistro right around the corner from her house. So, to save on gas she walked. She wore a simple pair of jeans, a yellow dress shirt and a pair of black dress shoes. Slip ons to be exact.

Adia was twenty-one. But most mistook her to be around eighteen or even younger. Her black hair was pulled into a pony to the side of her hair. Her pale green eyes roamed the streets. She was trying to make it hone before it got to late. Looking down, she felt something collide into her. Almost knocking Her off balance. Looking up, she blushed as she saw a man standing in front of her.

"l am so sorry.. I wasn't paying attention..." She blushed as she finished.

Alinthea didn't live the greatest of lives; he had to live his life in secret. Alinthea was 6"3, had rather broad shoulders, long silver hair that reached just below his shoulders and was a very strong guy; having a seemingly natural physique. There was a part of Alinthea's life that no one knew about, a part that if people found out, it would be a living nightmare; he was a vampire. Due to novels in the world depicting vampires as human types that 'sparkle', a part of him wanted to prove they weren't like that, but he always decided to let it be. Alinthea was a very intense individual, he didn't have many friends, he didn't have a job or a partner; he liked to keep himself to himself. A lot of people felt that there was something about him that was different and off, maybe it was his clothes; normall dark with a long, black, leather coat. Either way, he wasn't the most friendliest looking of individuals.

Alinthea was looking up at the clear sky, the moonlight was shining down on the street and on his face. Alinthea had beautiful, deep, blue eyes that glistened in the light from the sky. His skin was very pale, almost completely white, but it was perfect without a single blemish. Walking with his hands in his pockets, he felt something bump into him as he was looking up. He looked down and there was a girl infront of him, she couldn't be older than 18. He stared down at her as she nervously apologized to him. Alinthea let out a small sigh and nodded.
"Not a problem my dear." He said in a deep voice that could almost be seductive at times. Looking at her, he noted her beauty. He got a vibe from her that she wasn't like most of the people around this area. He looked at her clothing and sighed.
"Why are you in this part of the neighborhood? You are too dressed up for this part..."

"I was just on my way home... I live around the block." Blushing, she tried to hide it. "I am sorry for running into you... I should of been paying attention." Shaking her head, she smiled softly. Looking into his eyes, she could be tranced within moments. "My name is Adia....Its nice to meet you." She extended her hand, trying to be warm and welcoming. He dressed weird, but that did not necessarily mean he was. Re-adjusting her bags, she turned from his eyes. She couldnt look in them anymore, if she did she would look like a crazy person.

"Might I ask the same for you?" It was the first man, that she had talked to in a very long time. Not that she was a stalker, but she wanted to keep talking to him. Maybe it was how handsome he was, or the deep voice he spoke to her with. Glancing upwards, she smiled as the stars shimmered around them. It was a beautiful night, perfect for star gazing or for even a walk in the park...
"I cant belive I ran into you like that... you must think I am some weird person."

Alinthea looked at her hand and slipped his out of his pocket, gently grasping her warm hand with his; Alinthea's touch was gentle but cold. "My name is Alinthea, please to meet you." He said shaking her hand and then putting is back in his pocket. He looked at her up and down, her clothes were rather sexy and she pulled them off very well. Adia was very beautiful, her looks and beauty were simply highlighted by the moonlight beaming down on her. Alinthea pulled a small smile on his face. "Well, I have never seen you around here, I live down the ally over there." He said nodding in the general direction of a darker ally.

He chuckled a little at her comment. "You aren't crazy, don't worry yourself. There are a lot more worse people around here." He said looking around himself. There were a few strange figures walking around looking at the girl seductively. Alinthea wasn't use to protecting people, but she seemed nice enough and wouldn't survive in this area at this time of the night on her own. He had been in many fights in this area and could handle himself very well; he hadn't been beaten in a fight before; this was due to his super human strength due to him being a vampire.
"Where do you need to go? You shouldn't be out at this time, this is a rough area. I can take you home if you like or help you, if you like." Alinthea said cooly and calmly.

"Thats amazing... Thanks..." She laughed, calming down much more now. When she noticed the dark figures eyeing her she automatically moved closer to him. Why? He could be one two... But she would take her chances. "Yes, I would like that very much... Just down the block here." She nodded as she turned, started to walking down the sidewalk. "Why do you live in that dark alley over there...? It's kind of creepy."

Shrugging, she pulled her bag over her arm as it started to fall again. Maybe he was right, she didnt need to be out by herself. Glad she bumped into him, he was handsome... Everything about him. The way the moon shined off his pale skin, he had been cold when he touched her. But he could just be a cold natured person. Sighing, she continued to walk beside him. "How long have you lived here? I have not seen you before..."

"Don't mention it." Alinthea said, starting to walk down the road to where she needed to go. ""I live there because it is out of the way from most public places and isn't loud like a lot of the flats around here." He said sighing and looking behind him, seeing the dark figures looking away since Alinthea was not escorting the young girl; they knew who he was and what he could do, but what is actually was. Alinthea hadn't spoke to many people in the time that he lived in his dark flat and never to someone as pretty as this girl. "I know it might be creepy, but I don't exactly have many people around." He said calmly.

He saw her struggling with her bag and he sighed, putting his hand on her shoulder and lifting the strap up and taking the bag from her. He didn't speak a word, but he swung it onto his shoulder and carried on walking next to her. She had gotten closer to him and he didn't move away, letting her get very close to him. Alinthea saw a dark figure in the distance and he grit his teeth. He put his arm around Adia's shoulders and pulled her closer, nearly under his coat. The figure laughed and walked down an ally, away from them, he sighed and removed his arm from her.

She could feel her heart melting as he grabbed her bag. "Thank you.... It's been annoying me all day." Laughing, she shook her head. In a matter of minutes, she had managed to become closer and closer to him. Sighing as she realized it, she laughed softly. Adia didn't move, she rested her head against his chest area.

When he pulled her closer, she smiled. Then he let her go. Blushing, she quickly pulled away from him. Walking up her driveway, she spoke softly. "This is it... Did you want to come in?" She had no idea thst he was a vampire, that ge could kill her so easily.

Alinthea felt her getting confortable with him. He wondered why she felt so close to him already, he hadn't done anything he would see as kind. When she had her head against his chest, it felt like she was safe and he felt, almost, warm when she was resting on him. When he removed his arm, she moved away. He turned his head slightly and wondered why she did so and was turning red in the face.
As they reached the door, he turned and looked down at her since he was a little taller than her. Listening to her offer, he didn't see why not. He hadn't had any good company for a long time and he had nothing to do except go home and do nothing. However, he couldn't be outside in the sun, so he would have to tell her tonight if he did stay longer than excepted.

"That would be nice, thank you." He said calmly. This girl was very nice and pleasant to look at, he was starting to think that all humans weren't as bad as he had experienced before.

(Sorry, writers block)

Movin over to him, she looked through her bag and grabbed her keys. Unlocking the door, she let him in first and followed him in. Locking the door behind them. Her house wasn't anything big, a kitchen and livingroom connnected, two bedrooms and a bath. Perfect size for what she needed. "Ill take that now.." She nodded towards her bag, grabbing it carefully from his shoulder an hanging it on the side of the coat rack. "Make yourself comfortable... I'm going to go and change."

She smiled as she moved from the room, walking down the hallway, her bedroom was the last room. She shut the door, managing to find a comfortable pair of black pants and a t-shirt. Looking herself over, she nodded and found him. "Did you want something to drink or anything...?"

(it's alright!)

Alinthea walked in and looked around, it was much like his place. He handed her the back and walked in a little further. The place seemed like it was enough for a girl like her, it didn't seem like she had anyone else living with her, much like himself. He nodded as she spoke to him and he went and sat down on a small couch that was in te livingroom. He slowly lowered himself into the couch and sighed as he sat down. Alinthea was a little tired since he hadn't really slept in the day like he normally should.

As she asked if he would like anything to drink, he shook his head, then looked around. "I am alright thank you, I don't drink much." Alinthea said looking around at her. She was very pretty and he couldn't help but be attracted to her. He looked down and sighed. "Before you get comfortable, I need to tell you something. I know you might not believe me and I promise you I won't harm you, but..." He let out a loud sigh, feeling like this was a bad idea. "I am a vampire." He said, looking down at the floor and not moving. "Again, I promise you I will not harm you..."

Taking her own drink, she nodded an moved over to the couch. Sitting next to him, she turned and watched him. "What is it you needed to tell me?" She shrugged, curious to know what he needed to tell her. Then, he started to speak.

He mouth dropped, she wanted to move away from him, but she was frozen in her spot. "A... A vampire?" She shook her head, in disbelief. "No... I don't believe you... Prove it to me. I want to see..." It was the only way she would believe him was to see the proof.

(Eh, sorry it's so short.)

Alinthea sighed as she wanted proof. He through for a second before opening opening his mouth and showing her his teeth. Alinthea had two, long, sharp teeth either side of his front teeth. It was hard to notice anything else in his mouth, but the rest of his teeth were pure white and as perfect as teeth could be. Thinking that she might not believe him as some others thought they could be clip ons, he got up and slowly took off his long, black, leather jacket, putting it down were he was just sat and then pulling his top off. Alinthea then calmly pulled off his top and stood there, topless infront of Adia. His body was very pale, slim but had some muscle on his body. Alinthea looked at her and then around the livingroom. He noticed a bookcase in the corner, he walked over to it and casually lifted it up from the floor without any strain on his face, almost like it was paper. Placing it back down on the floor, he turned and looked at her.

"So, I have shown you my teeth and vampires have super natural strength, so wil that do?" He said sighing calmly, looking into her eyes.

When he showed his fangs, she shook her head. It couldn't be happening... Not now... Then, he took his jacket off, then his shirt. When he took his shirt off, she was sold... His skin was pale but beautiful... Then his strength... He lifted the bookcase like it was nothing. The books still in their rightful place. She groaned, nodding as he spoke. "Thats plenty enough proof.." Adis tried tearing her eyes away from him but she couldn't. "Why tell me now...? Why not keep it a secret?"

Her voice was shaky, almost as if she was scared of him. But she really wasn't at all...
"Will you suck my blood..? Drain me of all life?" She lauded at this. It didn't sound real. None of this was suppose to be real. It was all just suppose to be some fairy tail rumor.
