The sunlight shone down onto the face of the new student; the rays lighting up his face as he squinted, trying to make out everything around him. Standing with his bag over his shoulder and one hand in his pocket, he sighed and looked around at the students walking around before the start of the day.
James was a new student at Bridgewater High, he had just transfered from a school outside of town. His parents worked a lot and were hardly at home, but they decided to move and put James in this school because it was in the middle of the places they worked, they would be home a few times a month, but James liked that; he was very independent.
Sighing, he walked up the long path towards the schools main doors and reception. James was 16 years old, he had medium length, blond hair that swept over to the left hand side, sometimes covering his left eye. He was an athletic build and his shoulders were built and broad. He pushed the doors open and walked up to the main reception, saying he was the new student. He smiled at the receptionist but inside, he couldn't be bothered. It was his fourth time moving schools in the past two years and he just expected to move to a new school in a few months. James wasn't a dull boy, he was very clever and had a interest in computers; building his own and others for money was one easy way to look after himself. As he was waiting for all of the information he needed, he took out his iPod and put one earphone in his ear, turning it on and playing a new album he downloaded by a band called TerresecT.
Once he has been given his timetable, he sighed and walked down the hall, keeping to himself, he looked around at the happy, chatty students that were around him, he wondered how many friends he would make, what his teachers would be like, but at this current moment in time, he didn't care. Looking around for the toilets, he followed the signs.
