"Move along you. A gem like you will be worth quite a pretty penny once we're through training you." The gruff voice came from a burly young man, holding the rope which attached to a tight leather collar wrapped around the young woman's neck. Along with another strong rope around her arms, it was guaranteed that she wouldn't be able to get away anytime soon. She didn't bother to look up at the man, but she slowly moved to her feet, knowing already that they'd get really rough with their tugging if she stayed put. Looking around her, she could see a couple other woman being held, both humans. Probably they had been caught in a similar manner as she had, or they had simply waited for them to be alone before making their move. It was hard to tell with lowlifes like slavers. They targeted young women with the intent of capturing them, training them, and selling them off to anyone with enough cash. It was a sick business which had been on a steady rise as of late, though this was an issue that only a selected few knew about, particularly nobles. This was a growing issue with the disappearance of young women, and citizens usually turned to the kingdoms to do something of it, mainly because they might have been the only ones capable of the job. The problem with this was that some kingdoms were working with these slavers or were buyers. If that were the case, they could easily argue that taking them into the kingdom had these women leading better lives. It was a controversial topic that didn't seem like it would die off anytime soon either. This was a rather unfortunate situation for this particular woman. She had been described as a 'gem' mainly for her beauty as well as being a neko, which were very common in this particular area. The nearby kingdom under Marcus Elsimaral consisted of a neko royal family. And while these slavers didn't know it, this little gem of theirs was even more valuable then they would think. Why? They had unknowingly captured the young princess herself. Most of the girls captured had not given their names to the slavers, and she was no different. She was Princess Clarrise Vira Elsimaral, 19 years old. As to how she had even ended up in this situation, that was quite a story indeed.

Back in her kingdom earlier that morning, Princess Clarisse (or Claire as some servants would call her) was set to be married. Lately, their palace had received numerous threats of an all-out invasion from the local orc clan. There had been numerous incidents between the kingdoms, involving attacks from both sides, intercepting traffic to and from the palace, and so on. With tensions high and both sides preparing for war, Clarisse's father and the orc's war-chief, Gal'thul, had met in order to try and come up with some sort of agreement. Both sides had agreed that they would prefer to avoid a fight, but with how things were, it was hard enough trying to hold back their forces. It took a while on her father's side to agree to Gal'thul's proposal to marry Clarisse as a motion to ease tensions between them. There was a great deal of negative reaction to this, but none had come more from Clarisse herself. She had not even been thinking of marriage as of late, especially since they were in no rush to have an heir to the throne. Her father was still perfectly healthy after all. That, and she could not get over how unpleasant her husband would be. She could not bear to imagine that she would marry such a vulgar creature that had given their people so much trouble, and she figured that he would try to do some unsightly things to her. Despite her protests, the marriage was set to take place the next day (which was the current day) early morning. Clarisse had been woken up early to prepare, dress and all. She could bear the thought of having to dress up with such a husband as Gal'thul. She knew her father was set on this, but she would not accept it. She could not accept it! Upon returning to the room she was preparing in, they would find only her dress and other royal wear, along with a few locks of her hair which had been quickly cut off while nobody was around. She had also made sure to search through some of her servant's clothing, finding some that fit her before she made her escape. Seeing as most of the guards were stationed around the main hall, she had made sure to stay clear of that area, taking the long trip around the castle to one of the side entrances. From there she had run off a few miles to the thick forest. It had dawned on her during her escape that she hadn't exactly thought about what she would do from there. She grumbled a bit in frustration, taking some time to think alone in the forest. She knew it wouldn't be long before both parties would come to pursue her, neither side providing a good outcome for her. If she were caught by her kingdom, they would make sure the ceremony went through. On the other hand, she assumed things would not go about as well with the orcs. Plus, her legs were rather exhausted from the run, and they would catch up to her easily upon discovering she wasn't there. She almost wished she had taken a risk in hiding in the villages. Surely with the majority against the marriage they would keep her safe, but it was only a matter of time before she was found there. She couldn't help but let out a little cry of frustration, but she was then hoping that she hadn't done that. Being that she was a neko, her senses were much more acute than say humans. She had picked up on footsteps, as well as some voices which were quickly heading for her. Knowing her error, she tried to avoid this group as best she could, but she was inevitably surrounded and restrained by these slavers, who just happened to be passing through that area. Of course she had resisted, but she wasn't going to be getting out of this anytime soon.

With another firm tug of the rope, they started to make their move away from the kingdom. It was surprisingly peaceful despite how hectic things must have been. She would have preferred to enjoy this peace under different circumstances. She could see hear one of the other women sobbing softly, but she didn't really pay any mind. Her sobbing did accompany Clarisse for most of their walk, and it wasn't until they were getting closer to another village did she stop. Clarisse recognized this village, which was just outside their borders. Although it was unlikely, she was hoping for a chance to run off into the village. She knew that if she could at least make it there with a great deal of individuals about, she had a chance of them fighting off the slavers, along with the possibility of helping out the other girls. As patient (more eager really) as she was, the opportunity would not reveal itself. The only good thing she could see from this was that she was heading away from home, but she was still disgusted with the fact that she was captured. She assumed that they were headed off to a particular area which served as their hideout, where they were trained and prepared for selling. She'd rather not see the end of the journey there, but being bought was not going to be pleasant either. She felt a new sense of annoyance building up inside her at the thought of being purchased. To think that she, Princess Clarisse Vira Elsimaral would suddenly be demoted to a measly servant. Then again, there may have been some good things that came out of it. Back at the kingdom, she had quickly gotten annoyed with the fact that she could not do anything for herself. Her father had insisted that she allow the servants to tend to her needs, but there were times that it got out of hand. Especially on a day like today where it was a big deal and she had to dress up nicely! fitting into the dress did require help, but she could not even take a bath alone! Sometimes she wanted to step into the kitchen to prepare something herself, but that was not for her to decide. Then again, the likelihood that she would get a horrid 'Master' (she would want to bite her tongue off if she had to address anyone like that) was very high. She did not want to go through with this 'training' as she feared that she would not turn out the same after it. It may have been easier to escape from her Master if she was bought however. That may have been her only chance. For now, she'd try to wiggle her way out of this before they reached their destination. Escaping with her dignity would certainly be better than being purchased.

Though unspoken by the wheels of time and fate, her fears where unfounded. For her 'Master' to be would not be as bad as she seemed to expect. All had not forsaken her to a cruel fate befitting of one of her standing. Yet the path set before her clearly would not be a easy, nore a kind fate that was clear. For her master to be was not good nore bad. A strange being seemed to be merely a toy of fate. His life like one big hypocrisy that never ended. No matter what he had tried through out a life, he could nore would ever escape the fate that the 'gods' of this world played him to be. How could he, he was but merely a pawn. Not a knight nore a bishop, not king nore queen, a useless piece upon the board. Or so many would think of a pawn. But Salvial Vel Trual had other opinions of such things. No, a pawn was far from useless in his eyes. Though in the game of fate he was a pawn, and that perhaps was the reason he considered it such. Yet even so when he had played the game of chess, he found the pawn to be a invaluable piece. People often underestimated the pawn thinking it was useless. But that was the trick to it, in the game of chess if a pawn reached the other side of the board he or she as it were, could become a higher rank.

As such that had become his goal, not to escape his fate, and be something he couldn't be, at least not for the time being. His goal was the other side of the board, and rank up as it were. He would be a 'king' in the game of fate before it was done with he would make damn sure of that. A hour prior to the arrival of the young princess, a lone silhouette descended upon the town... Where he walked, trouble would only follow... A deep sigh escaped the lips of the elf as he walked upon the dirt road leading to a boarder town. He knew full well that he should pick up his pace, there was no doubt someone was chasing after him. There always was someone after him. If there wasn't someone on his tail, that's when he would start worrying. After all, just about every nation was after him for one reason or another. Not all of them were his fault, though all things considering most of them he couldn't blame them for having him a public enemy. He was well known for causing damages, though that was the most minor of his minor crimes. He was by far no saint, nore anything else of the like. He was a elf that had lived a good one thousand, three hundred, and forty seven years. Though considering his races life span he was not entirely that old. He had only been on the lose in the world for the last nineteen years. But what could one person do, he wasn't reserved and careful as other elves were.

He was by far more, wild and free willed. Many of his kind considered him to be far too similar to humans for there comfort. Which partly explained why he was wondering the world. It didn't take him long before he strolled into the town. Instantly there were mummers and whispers from humans, and the adoring eyes of all slaves that were tugged, lead or other wise along the path he walked. This was human dominated town, and country none the less. A elf walking around without a master of some sorts was unheard of. Even more so a male, few slavers dared to try to take males, since the only time they seemed to appear was in hunting parties. Even if they weren't they fought tooth and nail to the death. Making Male elf slaves by far more rare then females, despite the higher demand for females. Salvial was well aware of this, as he looked around his ears constantly twitching as they listened for any sign of enemy's. His hands twitched as he walked, and it wasn't long before he found himself staring down two very unfriendly fellows. A Orc, and a large human, and as Salvial contemplated which smelled worse, the human spoke. "Well what we 'ave 'ere? If it aint one of dem male knife ears." The human spoke looking quite smug at Salvial, to his annoyance. Salvial glared at him with blank yet aggravated eyes. They were warnings that he knew the human would not understand. He didn't seem to be the brightest bird in the flock.

Not only that, Salvial wished the man would step back a few, to stop spitting on him as he talked. That was by far the most aggravating thing these thugs had done so far. At least the big oaf just stood there laughing. Clearly the beast was as if not more brain dead then this human. Though Orcs, were not notorious for there vast intellect, but this was a dumb one, even for orcs. "wha price ya think we be getten for dis on-" The human spoke putting his hand underneath Salvial's chin turning it side to side examining his face. This was where he drew the line. This dirty grimy human touched him, and what was on his fingers he did not know, he just knew it didn't belong on him. Already had enough of this man, Salvial tapped the back of his left foot and out from the sole of his boot shot out a daggers blade. It stabbed right into the mans right leg. The man fell back screaming and the entire town stopped to look at him. The Orc looked confused looking between the two. Clearly wanting to know what the 'brain' of the two wanted him to do. "Now, my uneducated friend, I believe today you will learn a valuable lesson, if what not to do. Understand that even if they are another race, that should they be so bold as to enter such a town in broad daylight alone they have reason to. Lastly you should learn how to speak properly, else nobles are likely to kill or enslave you moments after you speak. As well learn some hygiene else stay down wind from the world. Anger me again and you will find yourself in a cell praying someone buys you for hard labor instead of a arena fighter." Salvial spoke holding up a Seal. The human who had cracked his eye to look up at him, was looking at horror at him. The orc was much the same, the seal Salvial held was a Slavers Guild Seal. It meant he was a Slaver for the Guild, one actually hired to do the Guilds slaving. The human barked at the Orc who quickly picked him up and ran.

Salvial replaced the seal in his shirt, and clicked his back heal again, the dagger sliding back into his boot. The humans around him were silent, and moved quickly avoiding him. Salvial paid it no mind and walked on. It wasn't long before he found himself in a loud tavern. He found himself sitting in the corner of the tavern, everything loud and bustling. In the distance he saw a barmaid walking around. His eye twitched as he saw her, she was a elf, just like him. Her body was a hollowed battered shell of what she once was he could tell. He was displeased with this, but he made no notion of his hate for it. It wasn't long before she moved to him, her eyes never leaving the ground below her. Her eyes seemed to be unable to look up as if they were forever grounded, as her soul was. "How may I serve you Master...." She spoke meekly, her voice hollow. It pained him to hear her, a females elf's voice was musical and filled with life. But hers... It was wrong, ever so wrong. "Shindu alaran tala, Eniru" Salvial spoke watching her closely. He watched as her eyes widened with shock and her head shot up looking at him. Her eyes a mix of horror, surprise, and relief. There was a elf here a free one. Her eyes watered as her free hand went to her lips covering any sound she might make.

Salvial put a finger to his lips shushing her. She seemed to instantly respond to him, seeming willing to follow any command he would give her. A sense of life filled her as she gazed over him, of admirement and happiness. But then came a loud voice, of a drunken man. "Vench vers our Ale!" It came from a large man who stumbled over to her. He instantly took notice to Salvial. "And Vats dis...? A Knifez Ears here?" He spoke slurring, and this didn't annoy Salvial at all. He had a reason to sound like that so he let it slide. Salvial pulled the seal out of his shirt showing it to the man who seemed quite surprised and happy. The Bar maid looked at him in horror, he was a slaver! "Vell a buddies! Lets have a drinks shall we!? Wench! Ales for our new friends!" The man yelled as he and his four buddies took a seat at his table. The Bar maid shot him a glare as she went and got there ales. The men patted him on the back and said a multitude of things he tuned out. When she returned and set there mugs in front of them she glared at Salvial. When she was next to him leaning over to put more drinks on the table for the other men, Salvial grabbed her sholder and pulled her closer. Whispering in her ear he spoke in there native tongue once more. "Senvu ele taliva ventu alaen seal." He whispered and her eyes showed shock once more but she did not move, she proceeded to put the mugs on the table and stepped back.

She stayed near Salvial as if that was what she was supposed to do. Salvial clapped his hands and reached in his coat pulling out vial of dark liquid. "Well Gentlemen, how about I spice up your drink to give it a extra kick?" Salvial spoke, and the men cheered and pushed there mugs closer to him. He pulled out the cork and put a single drop in each of there mugs, leaving his without a drop. He replaced the cork ensuring it was tightly sealed. He was careful with it as he replaced it in his shirt. "Well then, bottoms up!" Salvial said raising his glass then beginning to chug it as the rest of them. The humans finished first as he expected. Salval cracked his neck and stood up taking the bar maids hand. "Well I must be going gentlemen, I just came in for a refreshment. All be leaving in Five, four, three-" Salvial spoke reaching into his shirt pulling out another vial this time of red liquid. "Awwws why you leavin so soo-" The man couldn't finish that sentence as the count ran to zero, the five men dropped against the table dead as a doorknob. Bloody foam draining from there mouths. Salvial dropped the vial, and as soon as it made contact with the floor it exploded into a cloud of smoke. Before anyone could gather themselves both Salvial and the bar maid were long gone. Salvial found himself with the bar maid in hand just outside of the city. He was bringing her as far as the collar would let him take her. It wasn't a strong collar, it was like that so the owner could send her shopping in his place no doubt. Salvial pulled a third vial from his shit, this one a bubbling green, that looked extremely volatile.

He pushed her head back as far as it could go, revealing her iron collar. Popping the cork he let a drop fall on her collar and instantly it ate through her collar, causing the metal drop to the ground. Releasing her he put the cork back. As he put it back in his shirt she jumped on him hugging him sobbing profusely saying her thanks in the native language. "H... How can I ever repay you!?" She asked in the Humans tongue, the last thing she ever wanted to say in this cursed tongue. Without a word Salvial looked at her contemplating what to say. He didn't do it for a reward, he just wanted to get her out of there as she was one of his kin. It then hit him what to ask, or rather take from her. Without another thought he pushed her to the tree, his lips hastily meeting hers. She was surprised but had been trained not to resist, a gentle glow enveloped her, that was subtle that one would not notice it if they did not know what to look for. When there kiss broke she seemed to beam with joy. "You know the way, now run and never look back. A taste is a good enough prize for me." Salvial told her giving her a wink before departing. For elves, what he just did was much different then when a human did it. To elves each of them had a different taste to there kiss. As affection and emotions of such were so rare, in most cases he would have a blood feud upon his hands for such a thing. Yet considering the circumstances the family would likely give anyone but him her hand for less. As he wasn't well liked even in his home country.

Shaking his head he found himself upon the dirt road again heading off to the next destination. He was on the opposite side of the City now. in the past hour he had killed four people, freed a elven slave, harmed slavers, and caused who knows how much confusion. All in all, it was a peaceful trip. Though as he traveled a short way he spotted slavers walking up the path. The city was a haven for there kind and a prime place to sell and buy as it was on the edge of the kingdom. Thus making selling the slaves to the auctioneers who would ship them around to sell them for more else were was no surprise. The men did not take notice to him at first as they were talking amongst one another and ensuring the slaves didn't get lose. When the lead man noticed him he instantly drew his sword. A good number of them surrounded him, the rest remained watching the slaves to be. "Well look at what we got here, a elf, isn't this our lucky day. We found two gems in the dirt." The man said amused about to order the men to attack. He held off watching Salvial move, very cautious of elves. There magic was not something to be taken lightly, nore was there viciousness in a fight and one so close was extremely dangerous. Salvial didn't react to these men, staying calm. He had enough vials to deal with these men in any number of ways. They were not well armed, and all humans. They seemed all to be suited for a close range fight, heavy and slow. Being more agile he could always run away if needed.

But he was... Curious to say the least. He understood why he was called a gem. But who and what was this other gem he spoke of. Salvial pulled out the seal once more, "You caught nothing, only met someone passing by searching for better game." Salvial spoke, there eyes twitching. They didn't seem to want to lower there blades and trust him. But the thought of raising there blades and assaulting a member of the guild was far more frightening. They lowered there blades and sheathed them. All of them returning to the caravan of slaves. The leading man stayed where he was, weary of getting too close, to any elf, or guild member, being he was both, he was especially weary. "Well then, it is a rare sight to see a guild member so far out here, even more so one like you, may I ask why you are here? I would guess a Guild member like yourself would be in elven lands as it would be much easier for you to catch them then any of us." The man spoke, in a respectful tone, not wanting to anger him unneeded. There was no such thing as being too careful with the guild members, they were more dangerous then anything. If they were not killed they would be thrown into slavery themselves, and there were many slaves that would love to get ahold of slavers. Which in it's own would never be a surprise. "They caught wind of my hunting's so they know to watch for me. I won't be returning to those hunting grounds for quite some time so I intend to do my hunting elsewhere, with the shorter lived races. I am traveling around trying to find a good area to hunt. Speaking of hunting, you spoke of a 'Gem' did you not? I would much like to see this gem of yours. I know how much the auctioneers pay you, and often it is no where near as much as they would get. Perhaps if the gem can catch a sparkle in my eye, then perhaps, we can arrange a little something. As there is no record of any of these slaves just yet, we perhaps could put together a, 'You don't tell and I won't tell,' agreement." Salvial spoke a wicked grin on his face. The man seemed to be contemplating it, it was true they were never paid for the worth they would get from the auction, not even a quarter most time. If this man, and he was sure he could afford to, pay them more. Well... Who had to know right? After all there was no record in the guilds logs that these were slaves yet, and this was a guild member. He was just asking for a pre-sale buy. They were entitled to that weren't they, after all they ran the whole damned slave trade. "All talk to the boss..." The man spoke turning his back to Salvial and walking back into the caravan to speak with the head of it. Salvial and Clarisse were blissfully unaware of this in these moments, but the game, had officially begun.

It was safe to say that fate had not been especially kind to Clarisse. But hopefully, her luck would start to shift in the other direction. For some odd reason, they had stopped walking. Of course, the young princess couldn't help but take a look around to see if her chance had come. "Oh? What's going on? Maybe I can run while they're distracted!" Almost as if he had read her mind, the large man with the rope on her collar gave it a little tug as a warning. "So much for that. Not surprised they'd be extra careful with me." The good thing so far was that they hadn't found out she was a noble. They probably would never let her out of their sights, and being the gem that she was, she couldn't imagine how things would turn out for her then. She shook her head of those thoughts. "Gotta be optimistic! We're stopping for a reason. Perhaps hey forgot the way?" That would sure be amusing. She turned to look over at the other girls, who both seemed to have calmed down. Clarisse felt like trying to get some information out of them, but they seemed to shy away from her. Perhaps they were the types of human that weren't too fond of her kind, which was pretty common. Her kingdom had quite a bit of enemies, but they were powerful. Their problems started with the orc war-chief, Gal'thul, who was probably making quite a mess of things back home. She could only hope her parents were all right, even if they had planned to marry her to that wretched brute! She felt a mix of regret and anger, but it was already too late to try and rethink her actions. "Tch...what a pain." she muttered under her breath. She soon felt a few fingers taking hold of her jaw, the same man lifting her up to look up at him. "Heheh, I din't get to take a good look earlier with you struggling, but you really are quite the looker. Seems like today is our lucky day. You'll be worth a lot I know." How dare he handle her like this! If she weren't restrained like she was, she would probably lunge at him. Though her kind were known to be formidable warriors, she was nothing like that. Her royal life had limited her actions, watching everything else unfold in front of her. It was annoying to know that she wanted to punch his face in, but she was too weak to do so. This man was surely no soldier, but he could easily take advantage of her with his size and strength. She pulled away from his grip, getting a little chuckle from him. "Sill won't talk huh? We'll see how long that attitude of yours holds up. I doubt you can keep quiet after we're through with you." That cocky grin he gave her only served to piss her off more, and he knew it. "Hmm...that's quite a look you've got, but you'll lighten up in time." He paused as his expression softened a little, firmly taking her chin in his hand again. "Now that I get a good look at you..." Clarisse's eyes widened a little in fear. Had he figured it out? Did he really know who she was now?

"Boss! Boss! We gotta talk!" The voice of the bumbling slaver seemed to take the man's attention off from Clarisse. "I had a feeling he was the one in charge..." She pulled away from him again as he turned his attention to the other. "Eh? What is it now? Come to think of it, there better be a good reason you've stopped walking." Clarisse went to wipe off any filth that man may have placed on her. She still couldn't get over him. As she watched the peon standing there rather awkwardly, she was reminded of one of the male servants that would occasionally tend to her needs. It was odd how similar they looked too. "Get this Boss. Me and some of the others had found this pompous-looking knife ears, and we were about to get him into our hands." Clarisse perked up a little at the crude name. "Knife ears? Are they talking about elves?" Most of these vulgar terms for the other races had come from the humans, be it knife ears for the elves, or anything along the lines of 'beasty' or 'animal' for her kind. Even if they tried to stay quiet about it, she could easily make out what they were saying thanks to her sharp sense of hearing. She was rather curious about this man that they had run into. "B-but, as it turns out, he has the seal. He's with the Slaver's Guild." The boss was clearly in shock, as was Clarisse. For all she knew, elves were well sought after by slavers. To think that an elf would be part of that guild was a shock to her. "You don't say? So what's the deal? He have any business with us?" "Well, he said...that he would like to have a look at this 'gem' we mentioned Boss." Clarisse's eyes widened a little in surprise, and she could see the man looking back to her. She kept her head lowered, pretending she hadn't heard anything they said. He didn't look fooled though. He sure didn't look all that pleased about the news, but business was business. These slaves hadn't been thoroughly trained, but they couldn't turn down a member of the Guild if they were interested in what they had to offer. As expected, he was looking for their best. With another firm tug of the rope, he got Clarisse to move a little. "Looks like today may be your lucky day. Seems you've already caught the interest of a customer." Clarisse was still trying to wrap her mind around this. The man interested in purchasing her was a member of the Slaver's Guild, and an elf? She was so confused. It seemed too strange to be true. "Better get a move on. Don't want to keep him waiting."

It took a little while, but a few more tugs were enough to finally get Clarisse moving. She didn't bother to look up. She just followed where they led her. She could see some of the other men glancing down at her, chuckling and saying a few crude remarks. She could only hope this buyer would be less crude. They finally stopped walking, and she almost found herself bumping up into the man from behind. Somehow, she doubted that he would left her off with just a warning for that. "Well now, this here's just the 'gem' you're looking for. What do you think? Quite a charm, isn't she?" She felt this hand grab at her chin again, this time being much more firm in holding her. She couldn't possibly look away from him now, but as soon as her eyes lay upon him, she was surprised at what she saw. While she knew that elves were known to be quite a remarkable specimen, she hadn't seen very many up close. After all, it was her father who would meet with all the important people. Even at the occasional party, she wasn't allowed to wander too far off by herself. This man...was truly a sight to behold. His long golden blonde hair seemed to shine even brighter than the sun itself, if that was even possible, and he even seemed like he would be of high class. A noble? Not really. With the way he was dressed, she assumed he was far from it. The numerous vials with different-colored substances had caught her eye. A wandering doctor perhaps? Somehow he just didn't seem like the part. "This girl is quite special from the rest of them. I don't think we can part with this one for the average price. At least double or triple for this one." With her attention still on the man who would possibly buy her, she couldn't help but think that he didn't seem like such a bad person. But looks could be deceiving. After all, he was part of the Slaver's Guild. Wouldn't he be the same as these men handling her now? How dare they try and place a price on her. It was bad enough being captured, but they would humiliate her further by selling her like this. It was horrible.

Salvial tapped his foot as he watched the little man scurry off, with a amused look upon his face. How easily flustered humans could be, they panicked so easily. He was having fun watching them, each with a different look upon there face. Some amazement at what they saw, a living breathing elf, in all it's original glory. All they had seen were the broken shattered willed, remnants of elves. Others looked at him with fear, and worry. two were older, and clearly more experienced. They were clearly crippled and forced to take lesser jobs then they had. In there time they might of been fearsome slavers. But now reduced to capturing the simplest of races. They clearly had at least one run in with a elf by the look of them. Most notably there glares of hate, he could feel the rage in there eyes. This only made him crack a smile, which most likely only served to aggravate them. But they wouldn't raise a hand to him. After all that was not a move in there best interest even if he provoked them. Others looked at him with hate, for what he was. A elf, they felt he looked down upon them, like THEY were inferior then him.

Though that was his view on them, he kept it to himself. They were foul little creatures. But he considered all slavers to be, what ever race they may be. Humans on there own could be noble and he had known a great number of them. But there were always the foul breeds of humans like these. Some eyes were of wonder, almost, lustful. Though he was male, it wasn't hard to expect he could catch the attention of even men. After all elves were always said to have a unnatural beauty to them. Though Salvial never found it in himself. Blissfully unaware of what caused people to be attracted to him. Though he had grown, and lived with many who shared the same trait. So to him, there appearance was of norm. This served to amuse him most of the time but this was by far no time to play games with the men. His ears twitched, they were not smart. If they thought he couldn't hear them, they were dead wrong. His ears were not sharp for no reason, they could hear far better then any humans. Knife ears didn't bother him in the least bit, he had grown used to it.

But what he did not like was the tone of the bosses voice. He seemed quite untrusting, which caused concern. If the man did not trust him, he was far more likely to remember him. Which was something he did not want. He would have to ensure that the man 'forgot' he ever saw him. That would drive up what ever the price he had to pay was. He began to contemplate what to pay him with, he doubted he would have the coin to buy this 'gem' of his. Though he had a good deal of coin on him. Which of course he had stolen from someone he had killed on the road to the town. It wasn't hard to guess what he should use, it would ensure that they would forget him. A silent smile upon his face as he heard the shuffling of movements once again. The 'boss' was coming up, a disgusting man as any of them. It was clear they all had not bathed in some time. Though he excused that fact due to the fact they were returning from a hunt. Which in it's own respect was a 'dirty' job in more then one way. He began to grow slightly impatient waiting for him to get to the front. But he held those thoughts in his head.

That meant this gem of his, had at least some resistance. Which was all the better, the more one resisted the more amusing they became. His eye twitched for but a single moment as he caught a glimpse of her behind him. A soft flow of silver hair, that made him twitch. It was dirty and a mess from what ever struggle she had put up. Her ears feline, covered in soft silver fur. He was curious of what type of cat she was. He could tell her race already, but something else struck him. Her movements, even confined had a sense of... Elegance to them, like a unconscious attention to each step. Which only came to those who had educate drilled into them. A dirty face, much too unfit for her delicate skin. Her clothes were clearly too big, and didn't fit her shape in the slightest. He could tell they were not her own, most likely taken from someone. He listened to the man speak of her as a object, he could see why he called her a 'gem.' In a sense he was sure her hair could shine as a gem in the light. She was a perfect fit for some nobleman's pet and concubine.

But he had found a interest in her, how could someone like her get caught. He leaned down and as he did shoing the mans hand from the girl. His finger tips catching her chin leading her closer to him. As there eyes met, time seemed to freeze, and in those moments there was just her and him. His teal eyes seemed bright and alive with vibrant life, like water ripples in a pond. But his eyes, they were also deep, so very deep, like looking into lake in which you could not see the bottom. How deep could they go, what could he have seen. How old was he, and in that time what could he have done? Thoughts of that like would slowly creep into her minds, taunting her with unanswered questions. But none the less his gaze was captivating and would not let her escape even if she wanted to. But soon he blinked and broke his gaze upon her standing back up. "Yes you are quite right, even for the slavers capture she would gain you, quite a sum. In truth I do not carry such coin on me as I travel, as I proffer to travel light. So how about a trade instead?" Salvial spoke cautiously as he reached into his shirt once more. The mans hand twitched to his blade ready to pull it in a moments notice. Now that was unneeded but, quite wise. He pulled out a very small vial that had no more then six or seven drops in it. The liquid inside was a deep dark blue. "I assume you know what this is? It is Nymphs tears, and as you would guess in the long run it would be far more beneficial to take this then messily coins that I could provide. But there is one stipulation to me giving you this for the girl. 'You forget that either of us ever existed,' and I will forget that you ever had this. Catch my drift?" Salvial spoke with a wicked smile upon his face. Nymphs tears was the most well known drug on this planet.

A miraculous potion of unparallelled value. So much so that for a single drop, wars have started and kingdoms had been turned asunder. He was curious of there reaction. He already noticed many of his men were dumbstruck beyond compare. He was offering unfathomable wealth. For one simple girl, one would be worried if he was trying to trick them. But in truth he was not, it was indeed Nymphs tears. But what kind of Nymphs tear was the question. Though he knew full well that absolutely no one outside of the elven nations knew of any other nymph's tear other then that that which extended ones life. Yes, Nymphs tears extend lives, with a single drop a human could live past a hundred years. essentially this was the elixir of immortality. "So what do you say, oh, 'mortal man.'" Salvial taunted him for his own amusement knowing that one so greedy could not resist such a thing.

It was interesting that Salvial would think of her as the perfect concubine for a nobleman, especially when she herself was a noble. His careful observations of her movements and attire couldn't have been more precise. She did not simply trot about like the rest of the group, as ever since she was old enough to walk, she had been taught to walk like a proper lady. Even though she was trying to hide her identity, her habits that had been drilled into her were too hard to break. She was not taught only how she should walk, but also how to speak a certain way, as well as the proper way to eat her meals. Growing up, she was a bit of a brat, but that was to be expected with most children who had the privilege of being born with a silver spoon in their mouth. She still had a bit of an attitude, mainly die to the fact that she never seemed o get her way. Her current situation was just one example of her misfortune. She hadn't really bothered to find a set of clothes that fit her just right. After all, all her clothes were specially fitted just for her, and she didn't have a form quite like anyone else. After grabbing the closest to her size as she could, she had rushed out of there. Unfortunately, they were a bit big on her, and she'd occasionally have to tug at them for them to stay on properly. While he wouldn't be able to see it from the front, he'd eventually notice how crudely she had tried to cut her hair earlier. It wasn't even, but it's not like she could see behind her or anything, and she was in quite a rush. She couldn't help but be entranced by this man as soon as their eyes met. It certainly did feel like the world around them had stopped in time, leaving these two to live together in a miraculous moment. It was almost as though she could hear her heart beating a little quicker in her chest. Was this love? No, it was more like bewilderment. He was unlike anything she had ever seen in her life. Then again, she hadn't seen a whole lot as she rarely left the grounds of the kingdom. She had heard that elves were beautiful creatures, and she could testify herself that those stories were true. Even as she thought this, she still couldn't believe that he belonged to the Slaver's Guild. She just couldn't see how he would be part of a group that had a special fondness in capturing his own kind. Well, it wasn't like she could get any answers out of him in the situation she was in right now.

Clarisse seemed to finally snap out of her trance once he had pulled away from her. She was still in a slight sense of astonishment, still unsure as to why she had reacted to him in that manner. If anything, she should have been upset that he was also looking at her as a slave. As she listened to him speak with the slaver's, she was surprised to hear that he did not carry any money on him. Upon looking over him again, he didn't really come across as the kind who would be stashing away money in those pockets of his. For all she knew, there were probably more vials in there. "Eh? A trade you say?" The boss had a similar look to Clarisse in the sense that he didn't think Salvial had much to give. She could see the man resting his hand on his sword as Salvial reached into his shirt, with teh rest of the men doing the same. She was really hoping now that he wasn't going to do something stupid, as she'd prefer not to see these men cut him up in front of her. Her eyes rested on the small vial he had pulled out, finding that dark blue substance to be somewhat familiar. She couldn't quite put her finger on it, but it looked a little like that substance that had been offered to her the day she turned 16, and to this day she still wasn't sure what the point of it was. She didn't even have it in her room. For whatever reason, the liquid was kept safely elsewhere in the kingdom. "Nymph Tears? Was that it?" She listened to his little description of what the liquid would do, surprised that he would have such a thing with him. The other men were the same, seeming to loosen their grip on the swords to get a better look at the vial. Of course the men knew about this rare substance, but this was the first time Clarisse had heard about its effects. Could it really do something as amazing as prolong someone's life? If that was the case, she had to wonder why that substance had been offered to her that one time. The boss was already looking ready to just snatch that vial from him, but managed to keep his control. For men like them, such a substance would be quite beneficial to them. A sly grin came across the boss's face, bringing Clarisse a bit closer now. From a bag at his side he reached in to pull out a genuine metal collar, much like the one Salvial had seen on the elven woman in the bar. With a quick flick, he had wrapped the collar around Clarisse's neck, going ahead and cutting off the rope that held her. With a gentle nudge he had moved her over in Salvial's direction, all the while making a quick swipe at the vial of Nymph's Tears. "I expect no less from the Guild. A pleasure doing business with ya."

Clarisse grumbled slightly as she watched him, seeing that he was enjoying himself. She couldn't believe how easily he had chosen to hand her over like that, and as she had feared, she found herself with a Master. Only a few hours ago, she was the princess in a large palace, with many servants to do as she wished. Never in her wildest dreams did she think she would go from royalty to slave in but a matter of minutes. She felt like her heart had sunk down into her stomach. Twas a sad day indeed. The two other girls seemed to look on at her with envy, clearly wishing it would be them instead. And with that, the group started to go on their way, with the boss eying the vial of Nymph Tears quite fondly. Clarisse was surprised to see that one of the other men had suddenly snatched it out of his hands to take a look at it, starting somewhat of a chain reaction as they all waned to get a good look at it. In truth, they individually wanted to get their hands on it and take advantage of its effects. Clarise let out a little sigh, her tail wrapping around her waist. How could things turn out like this? She looked up again at the man who had purchased her, finding herself staring at his remarkable features. It almost reminded her of that one tale, "The Prince and the Pauper". It was as though he had switched places with someone in order to see what the life of the less fortunate were like. Somehow, she thought there was more to him than meets the eye. A sharp shriek rang out suddenly, and her attention was brought back to the group of men. Her eyes widened in shock as she could see one of the men laying flat on his back, with the boss pulling his sword out from his gut. The two women looked on in shock as the man who had been dragging them along drew his last breath. "Getting rather thick-headed huh? You forget who makes all the decisions around here?" The boss had stashed the vial of Nymph Tears in his shirt, but things would not go about so peacefully after that. The rest of the men had drawn their swords, pointing their weapons at each other: some at the boss, others at those threatening the boss. Clarisse turned her face away as she saw a sword come down. Steel clashed with steel times and times again, with a few cries of agony tossed around. She couldn't see it herself, but the two women had gone ahead and nabbed the word off the dead man, cutting themselves free while the men fought amongst themselves. They didn't even seem to notice that their 'goods' had gone off on their own. Her attention was brought back to her new Master, who seemed to look at them amusingly. "You...knew they would react in that way did you not?" she asked, not really looking him in the eye.

Salvial watched the 'boss' carefully. The poor man was foaming at the mouth for the vial. It was amusing to see, but if he made a poor choice he would lose his hand. Salvial wasn't one to come without his tricks, though in his case, he had a bag full of them. But it seemed as though he did not need them. He watched as the man collared the girl grinning to himself. The fool took the bait. As he pushed the girl to him he quickly pulled her closer wrapping his arm around her stomach keeping her close. He was aware of what was to happen soon. He predicted it, far in advance. This was not the first time he had used this strategies against humans. They were simple creatures prone to fight one another. Amused by the fact it had already began, they started taking it from one another. He felt the gaze of his pet upon him. He looked down at her smiling gently. Pressing his finger against the crystal that was embedded in the center of the collar under her chin. The crystal began to glow with a gentle light and a odd sensation would fill her.

A wave of pleasure would vibrate through her entire body. It was considered the last real pleasure any slave felt, a gift from the collar's creator or one guess. Or perhaps it was his own desire to give her that. Weather or not the collar was now bound to him. With his mark upon the collar the sense of belonging to would soon fall over her. Weather or not she accepted it was up to her. But the feeling would linger constantly. Salvial began counting under his breath. Clarisse would be able to hear him with ease. Though what he was counting to was a mystery. It was then the first strike was flung. The boss had stabbed of of his men through the gut. Salvial peered on with amusement as the fight began. "Damn you! The Nymph's tears is mine!" One man yelled charging but another stepped in his path cutting him down. The man turned to the closest man and swung at him. "The Tears are mine!" He yelled as they all joined the fray. Each one falling to another blade.

It was then he heard the voice of his pet. He mused at the sound, a pleasant sound, he couldn't wait to hear, her when she was mad. Though knowing him angering the poor girl would be quite easy. "Humans may be more crafty then a orc, but they suffer much of the same plagues as them. Humans are subjects to the same Envy, greed, pride, and wrath as the orcs are. There history has proven that on many occasions. They are also fearful people who tend to desire longer lives so they may find some deeper meaning or support there greed for longer. They fear death, and desire ever life. Though being human even with the potion I gave them, they are not likely to live longer then a average human. Even if they did live long enough, in the end they would end up as a tree. Nymphs tears I gave them is unrefined and they would end up being killed by it in a years time. Well in some sense, they would become a tree, forever aware of themselves, but never able to move again. It is a cursed elixir, when unrefined, not meant for races, unblessed by elves. So yes I did know they would kill one another." Salvial spoke with amusement looking to her as he explained it all. He was not stupid enough to give them a refined version of the potion. After all who wanted a human to live that long, least of all a slaver. The base product was easy to make compared to the refined version. Which only elves were capable of. Though humans had tried to pry the secret from the elves they captured. But learned very quickly they would rather kill themselves before they would give up the secret. Even broken they would never speak it. Many had bit there tongues, to remain silent. Salvial watched as the last wounded man leaned down and took the vial from the 'bosses' shirt. "I... It's mine! It's mi-" The man could not finish before something hit him. Slowly looking down shaking he dropped the vial. The vial dropped onto one of the corpses. The vial remained safe and unbroken, but as the man looked at the chest he found a dagger piercing it.

Looking up to Salvial who's arm was outstretched now. Before anyone had realized it, he had pulled a dagger from somewhere and threw it. "B.... Bastard...." Were this mans last words as he joined the corpse's upon the ground. Salvial released Clarisse for the moment moving to the man who had just fallen dead. Kicking him, the corpse flipped over, Salvial removed the dagger from his chest. Using the mans clothes to clean the blood from the dagger. He proceeded to collect the vial and tuck it back into his shirt. "Simplest method, make them fight themselves, and kill who's left. Wouldn't you agree, little Ms. Kitten?" Salvial spoke clearly calling her such for obvious reasons. He knew not her name, and compared to him she was indeed smaller. He slowly walked back to her a gentle smile upon his face. He pulled out the Seal of the Slavers guild. "You see, people never seem to check if you are really the owner of this thing unless they are from the guild. So it makes it easy to use against random people and lesser slaves. Well so long as it remains activated. Until someone realizes and reports that I killed the slavers guild member I took this form it's quite useful you see?" Salvial spoke amused at his own trickery. He was no way involved with the guild. Unless you of course considered being involved as killing there members, then he indeed was. Moments after he had said that the seals red marks faded black. Salvial looked at him quite disappointed, with the fact it had gone out.

"Well they caught wind of that quicker then I expected. Aw, well, it was unlikely that I would of had a chance to use it again before they found the corpse's anyways." Salvial spoke sighing as he threw the seal back to the corpses. Perhaps that was a unwise move for him, because in the next moments he and her would hear something horrible. The sound of thundering boots coming from the town, the alarm sounded loudly enough for even humans at this distance to hear. Soon the causes of the sounds were in view. The entire town guards were charging at them. "Aaaaaand now we run." Salvial spoke throwing Clarisse over his shoulder. Before he could start running the procession stopped a good enough distance away. "Halt! In the name of Lord Genneroth! You! Many accounts of you have been spotted through out our city, and you are charged with Assaulting a slaver, Four counts of slavers murders, damages to a tavern, six counts of murdering slavers guild members, and one count of Slave theft. If you surrender now you will live, and be put to slavery, resist and we will kill you!" The man spoke drawing his sword, as all the others. Salvial just found himself chuckling reaching into his shirt pulling out three vials of red liquid. "I believe I speak for the both of us, when I say, we will take option three, RUN AWAY!" Salvial yelled quickly throwing the potions at them, and on a dime turned and ran. He was able to take three long strides before the vial's hit the ground. The men already surrounding it in there charge. The moment the vial's hit the ground the released in a violent burst. A plume of flames sprouted from the point of impact exploding around a good deal of the men. Screams of pain and agony rang out as the men were dazed and confused. Salvial darted into the forest losing none of his speed as he raced like a frightened rabbit running from a wolf. Salvial's body count had just risen at least a good twenty bodies, and no doubt he determinately wounded some. He raced for a good thirty minutes, without his stride slowing for even a moment.

He had made far more distance then any human could without a horse, and within a forest such as this he had the vast advantage that he could outrun even horses. As he was more agile and capable of making sharper turns. As he came to a slow stopping as soon as he was sure that no one was around. He could hear no signs nore sense any intent. He set the poor girl down, feeling himself chuckling. "Well wasn't that invigorating. Nothing gets the blood pumping like someone trying to kill you, or a good escape." Salvial laughed he seemed a bit odd. But by no means was he out of his mind. He was right though, he had felt her heart racing as he ran.

Clarisse had heard the countdown, signaling the start of the violent brawl amongst the men. As she expected, he had to have known that they would spontaneously burst out into a violent rage, and he did not look the least bit ashamed of his actions. It was hard for her not to take a couple peeks over at the men, but she would quickly turn away within seconds of her looking. With him holding her close to his body like this, she would turn to bury her head in his chest. He had a very interesting scent to him. It's not like she was trying to pick up on it, but with her heightened senses, it was hard to ignore. It was an odd mix of the material of his shirt, materials in the vials, and a hint of sweat. It wasn't surprising considering he probably traveled a lot. If he had nabbed something as rare as Nymph Tears, he much have had a lot of connections. She noticed that he was checking out the collar, mainly the crystal embedded in the center of it. Before she could ask what he was trying to do, she noticed the faint glow of the crystal, taking her attention of from the feuding men for the moment. "What is...ah!" It started off as a warm tingle washing over her, followed by a sudden rush of pleasure that rocked her entire body. "Fu...fuun..." She tried to restrain any sort of sounds as her body shivered with delight for only a couple seconds, and a faint tingle still lingered. "W-what was that supposed to be?" she muttered, finding it hard to hide the blush that spread over her face. What was the significance of the crystal anyway? Of course she wasn't able to see it when the man wrapped it around her neck, but if this was how it was for all slaves, there had to be a reason. The first thought was something that bugged her, where she thought about how most female slaves would turn out to be pleasure slaves. The thought made her tail stand out. "The Tears are mine!" "Hand them over!" "Damn you!" Things were really getting out of hand with those men. The man's little description on their greed was intriguing. She personally did not know enough humans to make her own judgement, but she knew better than to label all humans like that just with the example of these men. "In a sense, we are all alike. There is no perfect being." she said.

Time had passed, and one by one the men fell to the ground in a bloody mess. The scent was very present in the air, and the mixed aromas stung at Clarisse's nose. She could not believe how nonchalant this man was acting with these men fighting to the death. And on top of it, he had tricked them! That was not a vial of genuine Nymphs Tears. She had the feeling there was something different about him, aside from being an elf. Of course, she didn't know about his thoughts on how anyone would want a slaver to live longer. If she knew what he was thinking on that, it would strike her as odd, especially because he a slaver himself, wasn't he? She looked on to see the last of the men reaching for the vial. A silent gasp left her lips as she heard the dagger fly through the air into his chest, hearing the last of his words. Somehow, this man had successfully killed off this group without carrying out the deed himself. Then again, he had technically taken the life of the last man. As Clarisse was released, she watched him walk over to casually pick up the vial and tuck it away in his shirt. In that moment she had the desire to just run off suddenly, but for some reason, she could not bring herself to do it. Maybe it was out of fear of what he might do to her if she tried. She didn't know yet about the 'leash' of her collar. She watched him come back to her with that smile of his, which made her feel a little uneasy. And his little nickname for her would not pass without some words from her. After all, she was not used to being called anything aside from her name. "I am not Ms. Kitten. I have a name you know." It was risky giving her name to him. She could easily try to fake it, but she had a feeling she couldn't hide anything from him. "My name is Clarisse..." As he pulled out the seal of the Slavers Guild, she listened to what he had to say. She was shocked, to say the least. He had killed the previous owner of the seal?! At the end of his little confession, she noticed the seal had gone out, right on cue. She wasn't aware that they could control that from afar. His calm demeanor worried her, and she had the feeling that things would not be easy for her if she was with him. Not surprisingly, her hunch was right, and her series of misfortune would continue for a little while longer.

After he had tossed aside the seal, Clarisse's ears perked up a little. She could hear something approaching them, but it was not just one thing. It was a large group...there were horses. She did not like where this was going at all. Her first thought was that soldier from her kingdom had finally caught up to her, and things would get ugly now that she had a Master. Things would get really complicated if that were to happen. She turned to see that the group was actually coming from the nearby town. Perhaps they had noticed the battle between the slavers. She would think that it was a good ting, as slavers were normally hated in the towns. But for some reason, her Master had other plans. "What? W-wah?!" She felt her body being tossed up over his shoulder, and with her leaning over his back she could see the group approaching. "You're not serious are you?! We can't possibly outrun them!" With the group stopping nearby, the standoff would begin. They must have been talking about this man, and if that was the case...he was a criminal?! And not just any offender. He had racked up quite a number of offenses in the short time he was in the area. She couldn't see him pull out the vials, but she could tell he had no desire to give in to either option. That worried her very much. It felt like her heart stopped for a moment as soon as he yelled 'RUN AWAY!' She saw the three vials being tossed towards the group, and with that, he was off. She was not the least bit comfortable with his shoulder bumping into her stomach as he ran. She had to push herself up a little to ease the pain. Her eyes widened in shock as the vials exploded in fiery bursts, engulfing many of the men and some of the horses. She would have thought the ones who got out fine would catch up, but to her surprise, he was able to pick up speed, running far quicker than any horse. She would know from the few times she had ridden a horse. There was that one unfortunate incident where she lost control of the horse and it went off with her panicking all the way. Upon arriving in the forest, he had started to slow down, eventually stopping and allowing Clarisse to stand on her own feet. Though as soon as her feet touched the ground, she felt her legs tremble and she fell down to her knees. Her heart was still beating a mile a minute, and she thought it might burst out of her chest. He didn't seem to be the least bit exhausted from that run, though she was. "W-what...w-what are you thinking?!" she suddenly cried out.

Salvial seemed quite amused with himself. He was in a strangely good mood, as if he had enjoyed that. In the time he had been out in the open world he had killed any number of people, weather willing or not. After a point he learned that if you thought too hard on it then you would begin to regret it. Not only that if you didn't live and go on living till your end, then all the people you killed to live up to that point lives were in vain. So he had became rather accepting of death. Killing one another was in truth a natural thing to do. Though many of the mortal races did not see it as such it was true. Wolves killed each others over territory didn't the? Were not those of the mortal races any different. Humans constantly waged wars with one another, the orcs constantly fought with one another, elves waged silent wars that lasted century's before even a single soul died. Even so he was never one to cruelly murder anyone, who did not deserve there fate. None of the mortal races were immune to the maelstrom of emotions that caused the killing. No matter how much you resisted them you could not escape sinning. Not even elves were impervious to such things, they were far more likely to sin then any other. One of the most deadliest sins was burned into there very core, Pride. They always looked down upon other shorter lived races like there short lives were so insignificant.

Though Salvial was one of the many acceptation of this fact. In the years since distancing himself from the others of his kind, he had found the amusement in them. How little difference there was between them and the races they seemed to look down upon. Which was in truth why he found her retort to his view upon greed of these humans so amusing. He had noticed her peeking at him, to which he did not mind. She was more then allowed to do so, tough in truth she would be seeing a lot of him in the coming days. After all her fate had been amusing one, it seemed to just get worse and worse for her, with each passing moment. Though perhaps in time, she would come to enjoy her fate, as Salvial had. When she began to retort about his little nickname for her, he only found himself musing to himself. He had found something he could use to aggravate her, or so he thought had a chance to. Which would be his prime game to play in the coming days. It was not long after when the humans had come that she spoke those fateful words. 'You can't out run them.' Oh, how little she knew of elves, or him even. Though that was understandable. He had taken it as a personal challenge, which made his flight all the more fun. When they had stopped he watched her drop to her knees rather unworried, she was excited after all.

"I was thinking, 'It's time to run away, what did you think? If we stayed there we would be tossed into the slave pens, to be 'trained,' or killed, and im in no mood to escape from the slave pens. The Pens are much more annoying to escape from then jails, at least in jails you don't have to worry about those blasted collars. Though while unclaimed there easy enough to get around. Ah, speaking of which you asked what I did with your collar correct?" Salvial seemed cheerful and quite at ease. He was used to it all, this was often how he left most villages, towns, city's, hell even kingdoms at times. He was by nature someone who provoked people, weather he intended it or not. Though most of his crimes were intentional, the cause that gave him the reason to commit them was normally not. Salvial leaned forward and pressed his finger against the crystal. The crystal began to glow a dull pink, and hummed with power. A fresh wave of pleasure began to vibrate from the collar spreading through her body. "Simple the first time was when I claimed you by imprinting myself into the crystal, this time is reward sensation of the crystal. The punishment is remote and I don't need to be near it to have it done. Though rest assure I have no intention of punishing you ever. Unless of course your the type to enjoy punishment. 'Litttle Ms. Kitten.' " Salvial explained musing to himself as he held his finger close to her collar. He was clearly toying with her now, he obviously heard her tell him, her name despite the face he would not use it. 'Master stop teasing her like that! You know that's not nice!' A small voice came from inside his shirt. It seemed to cause Salvial to back off releasing his finger from the crystal in her collar the sensation slowly fading away. In seconds his shirt began to bulge and move as if something was flying around inside of it.

Moments later a bright yellow orb popped out from his shirt. The orb seemed to hover then shoot off at Clarisse flying around her for a few moments. It then came to a stop right in front of her face hovering there. Moments later the orb shattered into the form of a Tiny girl. She was only slightly bigger then a tea cup. She had blonde brown hair, that seemed to bounce and flow with her. She wore a dress that was bright yellow as the orb she came out of. A red scarf was tied around her neck despite the season. A ruby pendent hung from her neck. A strange little thing seemed to gleam with power. Her face was cute, and childish, seeming to still have hints of baby fat. But that was not her most predominant feature by far. No, the translucent blue green wings that sprouted from her back. They shimmered and gleamed, as she began to fly around Clarisse once more. "So your Clarisse, I head you say your name from inside masters shirt, but I couldn't see you! I wondered what you looked like! I must say your cute! ♥" Her voice was fast and loud, compared to her size. She seemed to be picking up speed in her flight. She then came to a screeching halt again above her head. Landing on her head seeming quite happy as she sung her legs off her forehead.

"You should be nice to her master she is going to be staying with us right?" The little fairy spoke happily, and quite loud next to Clarisse's ears, without a seeming to have a care in the world. She watched as Salvial 'humphed' at her suggestion. Her cheeks puffed out in annoyance just before she shot off at Salvial, who raised his hand in her path. The poor little fairy landed ran straight into his hand hitting it like she was squished into a wall. Slowly falling back she fluttered about trying to regain herself. All she could hear in those moments was Salvial saying. 'Elena do calm down, you can't control the volume of your voice again.' Which was indeed true, when Elena was excited she couldn't control the volume of her voice. Making her by far more annoying then ever before, and considering she was the type who was easily excitable, one expected her to be quite annoying. But even so as she regained herself, she didn't to be entirely effected by it, just as cheerful as she was. Beginning to fly around seeming at very least to be happy to be out of his shirt.

Clarisse wouldn't deny that things looked bad for them back there, but she couldn't help but feel like she could have gotten out of that situation unscathed. She was still a little annoyed that she couldn't escape during the fight like the other women had. If only this man hadn't gone ahead and purchased her, she'd have some time to try and figure out what to do from there. This only made things worse. "I really don't have any luck do I?" she thought to herself. Although she didn't say it aloud, he could likely read her face to get the jist of it. "I doubt anything worse could happen to me. You did hear what they were accusing you of didn't you?" She finally managed to find some strength in her legs, pulling herself to her feet and dusting off her legs. She had never been this filthy in her life, and it was clear she was not pleased. This may have been one of those times she was would really be missing her home, but now was not the best time for her to go back, not when she knew what was in store for her. "Being that I was put into slavery, there isn't anything worse that could happen to me. It was you they saw working your magic in the town was it not? You are the one responsible for the actions of those men. Even if you had not really done it yourself, you had killed those men, using that vial of yours. As for me, things would have been much easier. After taking you away, they'd have no reason to harm me, as I am a slave right? For all I know, I would most likely be released without a Master to serve." She crossed her arms over her chest, glancing back over to him. It was hard looking at him in the same was as before knowing all that he had done. Yes, looks were indeed deceiving. She watched as he approached her again, taking hold of the collar once more. The crystal embedded in it still had a faint glow to it, meaning that the imprinting was already in effect. As he reached to touch the crystal on her collar, she felt in hum gently around her neck, another wave of pleasure washing over her body. "Ah...!" The only difference this time was that the waves came time and time again, constantly keeping her in a state of bliss. "Nnn...i-imprinting?" She had a feeling there was more to this collar than she originally thought. This sensation washing over her was unlike anything she had ever felt in her life. What she took from this the most was that he could control what the collar would have her experience, even if he was nowhere near her. So did that mean he could have her feel like this whenever he felt like it? She may not have been all that fond of him right now, but if this was a reward, she did not wish to experience a punishment. Her initial thought was that she would get an electric shock of some sort, much like the criminals her kingdom would hold in the dungeons. Once he had finally released his hand from the crystal, she felt the sensations start to die down, leaving her with that tingling aftermath again. She felt her knees buckle a little, but she managed to stay upright this time. She grumbled a bit at his comment, hearing that nickname again. While it was not on the level as 'beast' or 'animal', she couldn't help but be annoyed. It was almost like he wanted to mess with her in a playful manner. But she was in no way going to consider him close enough to be messing with her like that.

"If you are trying to label me as a masochist, I'll have you know that I do not find any enjoyment out of it." Somehow, she felt like everything she did was amusing to him. She just wasn't sure she'd be able to figure him out. As she tried to forget the after-effects of the collar, her ears perked up a little to pick up a faint sound. It was much like a little girl, but where was it coming from? It sounded really close, but there was nobody else around. In that moment she noticed the evident bulge in his shirt, watching it wiggle around as though it had a mind of its own. "W-what is...that?" she asked, casually pointing at the moving lump. God forbid it be his heart trying to pop out of his chest and escape. She'd soon find out the wonders behind it, as whatever it was finally flew out of his shirt and headed straight for Clarisse. She went to duck away as the orb bolted in her direction, convinced it would have smacked into her if she didn't. As she cowered, she could see the orb stop right in front of her face, and much to her surprise, it had shattered, and in its place was what appeared to be a young girl. This was new to Clarisse, as this was her first time seeing a fairy up close like this. For some reason, this little girl gave off so much positive energy, and Clarisse couldn't get over how cute she was. She found herself following the little girl as she flew around, stopping in front of her face again. Even her voice was cute, which was to be expected. "Ah...y-yes, that's right. You are...?" Her words were drowned out by the fairy's projected voice. To think that such a sounds could come from one so little. She had to admit that she was a nice change from her Master, who just liked to mess around with her. At least she was getting the respect she deserved! Clarisse felt the girl touch down on her forehead, apparently in a very good mood as she swung her legs.

So long as this girl was around, Clarisse had a feeling that her days with this man wouldn't be so bad. On the other hand, she had her downsides. For one, she just couldn't keep herself under control when she got excited like this. She almost wanted to reach out and grab her by the wings and watch her struggle in her grasp. That would be amusing wouldn't it? Clarisse winced a little as the fairy called back to her Master, her voice coming up much louder in Clarisse's ears as they would for anyone else. She looked over to her Master, noticing his little 'hmph', followed by the fairy girl puffing her cheeks. Clarisse winced as she collided with his hand, spiraling down to the ground before she recovered. It was in that moment she could hear her Master muttering the fairy's name as she tried to keep her quiet. "Ah...so your name is Elena. That's a nice name." she said. "You're very cute as well." She couldn't help but smile a little when addressing the little fairy, the first time since she had come into this man's presence. Come to think of it, she hadn't even gotten her Master's name yet, though he had gotten his other servant's name first. "I don't believe I've gotten your name, or would you prefer I refer to you as Mr. Elf or something else along those lines?"

As Salvial had listened to the woman speak about what would happen if he had simply left her there. How amusing she was, she really didn't think things through. By that time he had already imprinted and it recognized that she belonged to him. Not only that she was clearly unaware of where exactly she was. She was in the Kingdom of Armestriest, one quite notable for a single thing. They openly endorsed slavery, hell there auction houses were in public. There entire kingdom almost had been made atop the broken corpses of countless slaves. Men of all races bought for hard labor, the women bought for cleaning, cooking, pleasurable company and the like. This had reassured him, that she was someone noble. Perhaps hidden away from the world, so she was kept from such things. Slavery was on the rise, as the world was waging more and more wars. Tensions between every nation coming to fruition. Kingdoms sought allies just as much as they were fighting with one another. As such with so much war, kingdoms had began taking up the art of slavery. After all what was the best way to gather up soldiers quickly? Why waste your own when you can use your former enemy's. Thus the formerly underground organization of the Slavers guild had been given rise into the public eye.

Taking a deep breath he sighed at her shaking his head. He had not said a word between that segment of there conversation and the net. He was amused at her response, it was hard not to find her reaction amusing. Most people could suppress this more. But being she was not used to it, it seemed as though it would be harder. It wasn't long after that Elena had started her buzzing in his shirt. "Trust me, masochist was my last thought, Lil Ms. Kitten." Salvial spoke taunting her again that was the last one he was able to spout out of his mouth before the ball that was Elena was out. Salvial didn't do a thing, but simply watch Clarisse panic at Elena. IT was amusing to watch her try to dodge the little fairy. Yes that would work so well with Elena. She would be dodging all day long and Elena still wouldn't stop. The little ball of energy was quite persistent like that. It didn't take long before the little fairy had run into the formidable wall known as Salvial's hand after her hyper banter. But after she had recovered, she fluttered over to Clarisse happily. "Well thank you, Clarisse, your name is pretty as well!" Elena spoke happily fluttering around her a bit. Though she was wrong on one thing. Elena was not a servant to Salvial, she was a partner. Her calling him master, was just her own desires.

He seemed to enjoy it, and as she had been with him for so long it was easy to understand. The two blinked as she asked for his name. Elena looked back at him wondering what he would tell her. There seemed to be some reason why she looked at him quizzically on his response. Salvial looked at Elena blankly as she stared back at him. Taking a deep breath he looked to Clarisse. "A trick question on it's own. You want my name yet you have yet told me your full name, my little noble. But even so you are right not knowing what to call me is a little difficult for conversations. So you can call me master. ♥" Salvial spoke at first serious, but ended it on a playful note. Elena fluttered over to him get right up in his face. "Salvial that is not nice she gave you her name the least you could do is give her yours!" Elena spoke scolding Salvial for his actions. Before she could say anything else Salvial pinched her lips close. "You know you talk far too much about things that are by far unnecessary." Salvial retorted to her, and though her lips were pinched closed, Elena continued talking. The two began a rather strange argument, that it was hard to understand either of them due to the language Salvial began using and her with her pinched lips. After a while he let go of her lips and she shot off around Clarisse's head pouting. "Now lets get down to a little more important business." Salvial spoke taking a seat leaning against a tree, he motioned her to sit as well. "First off, you seem to be blissfully unaware of the situation of things in the world. So lets start by filling you in some shall we? After all your stuck with me now Lil Ms. kitten." Salvial spoke reaching into his shirt once more. It seemed as though he hid a lot of things within it. He produced a map from within his shirt unrolling the parchment between the three of them.

He then pointed at a spot on the map near a town. "We are here, within the Kingdom of Armestriest, which has been also been known for quite some time to be a kingdom of slavers. They were one of the first ones that survived any persecution of any other kingdom, after making slavery public and quite legal. Since the time they legalized and brought slavery into the public view, it has begun to spread quite far. Over a quarter of a near by kingdom have publicly accepted slavery, and at least a quarter to half of the other kingdoms privately accept slavery but keep it in the dark. The kingdom you hail for all I know and can tell is one of the remaining kingdoms that shuns Slavery. Most likely due to the fact that your kind are prime targets for slavers. Though you are not as rare as some of the more exotic races of the world, your kind is in quite high demand. But that is not the worse of things, many of the nations of this region have begun going to war with one another for land, money, rights, and yes slaves. Not to mention, there are numerous reports of warbands of orcs, trolls, ogres, and the like going about, to make tensions higher. So no you would not of been released if I left you. No more likely you would of been tortured before trained for being part of it. As such you are as much the cause of the deaths of those men as this little vial is." Salvial began to explain the situation of Slavery in the world. So she could get a better understanding of the current little situation. In no way shape or form would leaving her there of been a good idea. Even if he didn't actually pay for her. If she was a claimed slave and they caught her, there would be a lot of pain involved, and seeing as he had gotten her involved though he got her for his own amusement he wouldn't simply leave her to a fate crueler then one with him. But he did not lie to her in a sense she too caused there death's as much as he did. Though she through she was unwilling he had in a sense stained her hands with blood. With him taking interest and 'buying' her, there fates had been sealed. Taking a deep breath, he let out a sigh. "Trust me on this though, little noble, there are a great many things worse then slavery." Salvial spoke sounding deadly serious, even more so then his explanation of the worlds situation. Elena had taken up residence on Claisse's shoulder, listening well. She knew all of this and was quite content to let Salvial explain it. It was much easier that way. "Now for the the most important question. Whom are you really? Your mannerisms, the way you walk, even your attitude and the fact you are clearly unaware of the standings of where you are, suggest that you are not someone of common birth. You are a noble, that is clear, but to the degree your movements have been drilled into you, I would assume you are not one of minor birth. After all a minor nobles daughter needs not appear graceful as a higher nobles. After all a higher nobles child would hate to be shown up by someone of lesser birth. Not to mention by the sate in which you are dressed it is clear that the clothes do not fit you, and you were in a rush to flee, so either you have done something wrong, or you are a run away. So I ask you again who are you really?" Salvial was dead serious but it didn't seem as if he expected her to give up something so secretive without proper incentive. Being she was already a slave he could simply use the reward system on the collar.

But that seemed rather redundant and he didn't actually want to use the collar all that much. For the simple reason he hated slavers, despite he intended to keep her as a slave. He was not very sympathetic to the plight of other races when it came to slavery, due to the fact they also practiced it even in secret. The elves enslaved he did care about for the reason that they were ripped from his very homeland. Even if he did not care for the place he could not bare to see his kin like that. Thus it made him despise slavers, more and more. Salvial began to think of what a good reward for her would be, one that would be fitting for such a exchange, then his eye caught Elena. It gave him a idea, one that would kill two birds with one stone. Smiling to himself he held out his hand. "Elena the object, I believe this is a good chance to open it." Salvial spoke knowing what Elena's reaction would be and he was right. Elena looked at him dumbstruck trying to figure out what he was talking about. Then it hit her, he was talking about that! He was wasn't he!? Elena fluttered off Clarisse's shoulder flying around Salvial seeming quite happy. "Then that means we can wake it up! I wonder what they'll be like!" Elena's little voice boomed as she began to chant, 'New friend, new friend, new friend.' Salvial began to glare at her waiting for her to do as she was told. With a quiet meap from Elena she fluttered to his hand pointing her hands at his hand.

The small girl began to hum with power, a bright yellow glow surrounded her. Upon Salvial's hand a object began to take form, slowly, it began to become more and more real. It took the form of a large crystal egg, twice the size of Elena herself. As the Egg finished taking form the light from Elena began to fade slowly. Then without warning the poor little fairy dropped out of the air. But Salvial was quick enough to catch her before she hit the ground with his free hand. Raising the little fair up he sat her on his shoulder. She was panting and clearly exhausted. "You did well Elena, thank you, take a rest, all take it from her." Salvial told the little fairy, in a kind voice, for the first time since Clarisse had met him, she saw his expression change. It was a gentle look, it was clear that he did indeed care for the little fairy. Salvial's attention returned to Clarisse, and he offered the egg to her. "In exchange for answering my question all give you this. Being that you are already bound to me and as I have no intention of releasing you from the collar as of yet. It is known as a Fairy egg, it is where all fairy's come from. Naturally it would take a few hundred years for a egg like this to hatch, but if you bound the fairy to yourself it will hatch now. The fairy is likely to out live you yet still. Be aware that few creatures outside of elves have ever laid eyes upon much let bound themselves to a fairy. Though as you serve a elf, you have a right by the law to be allowed to, if the fairy and elf both agree, and seeing as Elena hasn't shut up for the past hundred years for me to hatch the fairy from this egg, I doubt she has any objections. Not to mention she seems to already be quite fond of you which is rather strange. Though most likely it's due to you being claimed by me." Salvial explained the exchange and what it was that he offered her. This indeed would be a once in a life time deal, or rather a few life times. Even more so with the fact that there were fewer and fewer elves who came out of there hidden sanctuary's.

It was not surprising that someone like Clarisse would be so naive about her position. Then again, it wasn't as if she could really get any information about slavery and its developments over the years. And being as she had rarely left the safety of her home sweet home, she did not know of where they had ended up. In their devious hit and run, Salvial had carried her all the way into the kingdom of Armestriest, where the practice of slavery was permitted, even encouraged. With her current status as his slave, she wouldn't get off that easily even if he had been taken away and executed. Chances were, she'd just end up in the same situation as before: getting trained until she was ready to be sold to a willing buyer. Of course, she had not thought about those sort of consequences. She didn't seem like the kind that would think things out herself, as she always had people making decisions for her. After her little response, she couldn't help but feel a little annoyed with his expression. He had been looking at her in a similar manner for most of the time they were together, and she didn't enjoy being looked down upon. For him, a common man to be looking down on her while she was a noble! He would easily argue that she was not really a noble in her position as his slave. She let out a little sigh with his little nickname for her. There really wasn't anything she could do to stop him from calling her that now was there? For now, she'd just have to bear with it. Luckily, she had somebody around that she could get some enjoyment out of being with. She was quite bewildered with the little fairy flying around her, but as with just about everyone, she wished she could be a little quieter. Perhaps it was Clarisse's natural abilities as a neko to respond quickly to Elena flying about. While she didn't have too much trouble dodging the tiny missile, she did get rather tired of doing so eventually. While she did not know of Elena being a partner to Salvial, she could understand that, seeing as she wasn't afraid to speak her mind to him. Of course, the same could be said for Clarisse, though her words didn't have much priority now. She was a little confused as to why they seemed so hesitant with her asking for Salvial's name. Was it really that difficult of a question to answer? And despite her expecting a simple answer, she got something else entirely. "Ugh...I should have expected as much. How silly of me to think I would get your name right away." She grumbled softly as she fell back on the ground, watching the two of them get into another little argument. Again, she was glad to see that Elena appeared to be on her side. Perhaps it was that bond of being young women. Then again, she wasn't sure how fairies aged. She certainly looked like she was young. Maybe she'd ask about that a little later. As easily as Clarisse could eavesdrop on their conversation, they started talking in a different language. She always wanted to try and at least learn another language, though she had not been allowed to. Well, it would be rude of her to try and interrupt them just because she wanted to know what they were saying. She just waited patiently for them to finish talking between themselves, perking up a little with Elena now fluttering over to her. "Important business huh?" She went ahead and moved over a little closer to where he was. "Well, I can't really help it. You already know the reason for that don't you?" He had already figured out she was a noble.

Her eyes followed his finger on the map, trying her best to make heads and tails of it. Though as simple as it should have been for her to understand the map, she wasn't really familiar with the area outside of her kingdom. "Armestriest? That name does ring a bell. That may have been one of those kingdoms my father was talking about. He didn't really seem to enjoy talking about them, so I guess it's not surprising considering they openly practice slavery." There weren't too many kingdoms around that were against slavery, so he'd probably be able to guess where she was from eventually. "Of course. We know our kind are rather popular among slavers. Gallia has made an effort to try and save our kind from slavers and have them reside with us." She wasn't aware of the wars between kingdoms, but with the mention of orcs and the like, it made her think back to her marriage. Now that she thought about it, she didn't think anything good could come out of that. Gal'thul and the others under him would most likely be able to overpower Gallia's military, and the marriage between them didn't guarantee any peace. "Ugh...I get it already. I'd rather not think about that happening right now." It was during that time that she was glad to rather be with him then getting captured. But she still wasn't sure what he had in mind for her. "Well, it's not like I intended to turn out as a slave in the first place..." As a noble, she was so used to having things go her way without any question. She wasn't used to having to humble herself, but she wasn't in her kingdom anymore. She didn't have her servants to go about and carry out her will anymore. In an odd turn of events, she had found herself as the servant. She turned to see Elena taking a spot on her shoulder, giving her a little smile. She turned back to Salvial, going ahead and questioning who she was exactly, knowing she was a noble. But there was more to her than that. "Well...I guess I'd have to tell you eventually. Either that, or you'd just find out yourself." She carefully stood back up, dusting herself off. After checking to see that she was more or less appropriate-looking, she went about with her introduction. "As I've said before, my name is Clarisse Vira Elsimaral, only daughter of King Marcus Elsimaral and Queen Miranda Elsimaral. I reside from the kingdom of Gallia. As for my clothes, these belong to one of my servants back home. I was to be married to the orc leader Gal'thul this morning, though I had no intention of giving myself to some brute like that. So, I had slipped out of my wedding dress and changed into my servant's clothes. And with that, I fled up until I was captured. And from there, I'm sure you know the rest." She gave him a rather interesting stare, as if expecting something for her telling him all this. "Well, I've gone ahead and told you everything haven't I? Wouldn't the proper response be to tell me just who you are?"

It seemed that she'd probably have to wait for that from him though. She noticed him glancing over to Elena, who was still propped comfortably on Clarisse's shoulder. What could he possibly be thinking? While she didn't expect to get an answer right away, she could see that Elena was quite thrilled about the idea. "The...object?" She jumped a little with Elena flying off, now circling around Salvial even quicker than usual. She expected another excited rant from her, and that was just what they got. She almost had to cover her ears at the little fairy's sudden outburst, but luckily it didn't last very long. Though the little chant of Elena's did make her a little curious. Just who would this new friend be anyway? Surely they weren't referring to Clarisse were they? Even if she was to be a part of this odd group, she wasn't necessarily seeing them as 'friends'. All Clarisse could do was wait and see what they were planning. With Elena started to glow, she noticed the object starting to form upon Salvial's hand, which was starting to take on the form of a large egg of some sort. Was this the 'object' that they were talking about? And of course, she had to wonder what would be inside that egg. What sort of creature would hatch from it. the other thought was that he'd simply be using it to cook food, which didn't really sit well with Clarisse right now. She almost went and tried to catch Elena herself, but stopped herself when Salvial did it himself. It was certainly a little odd to see him talk so kind to Elena compared to all the times they had argued, but it was refreshing to see that even he could be like that. She stared curiously at the egg, now seeing Salvial offering it right to her. "Huh? You're...going to give this to me?" It was rather surprising, seeing how precious it looked. As she expected, there was more to this egg than she though. "Fairy egg? Is that how they come about?" she thought, cautiously reaching out to take the egg in her hands. It wasn't as heavy as she thought it would be, but she was still very careful holding it. "Is it really fine for you to give this to me? It seems like a really big deal to be bound to a fairy. If it was true that mainly elves were with fairies, she'd be one of the few outside of elves to have her own. She wasn't even sure what she'd do once it did hatch. It would be nice to have another fairy floating around. They'd most likely get along really well with Elena, and it would almost be like having a servant again, but she found it hard to think of them like that. "Well, I suppose I could give it a try..." For a minute or so, she was just staring at the egg, not exactly sure where to go from here. "Uh...and just how do I go about with this? Do I have to chant something or boil it or what...?" She really was not sure where to go from here, and so she would turn to him for direction. She figured she'd have to get used to relying on him for now, as he was her Master now.
