"Alright Terra. Here is the situation as of this mornings scan." Terra listened to her Command controller with one ear, and kept the other tuned into her sonar transmitter as it searched for a airlock for her to enter the massive cruise liner. "Scan's confirm minor radiation leakage, not enough to affect you, and all the crew and patronage have more than likely already been somewhat affected by it."
"Hostile?" Terra's one word response came with a tinge of excitement. She'd been out of action for to long and was getting rusty.
"Not in the traditional sense. Our biometric scan indicates a heavy concentration of Phallusol V in the air supply." She quirked her purple eyebrow, that sounded familiar.
"Phallusol? The parasite that makes you fuck-crazy?" She'd heard of it before, it came from meteorites from god knows where. Entire worlds had fallen to it before, so she could understand why this was so serious.
"Exactly. As you so aptly put it, the parasite has made everyone on board 'fuck-crazy'. Under no circumstances are you to harm anyone on board." Great. Cut her achilles before she even got on board.
"Tranquilizers?"
"Negative Terra. We don't know the effect tranquilizers will have on the infected crew if they have been mutated. We can't risk a incident....more importantly we can't afford to get sued." Right. Hate for that to happen.
"Roger command. What are my orders then?" Her sonar picked up a hollow space several yards ahead, she moved over and did a quick arm pump. She bent down and started hacking the airlocks control console.
"First and foremost Super Galactic Government wants us to gather all the intel we can on this strain of Phallusol V. We need to be able to fight it in the future. First you will take a sample of contaminated air. Then we need you to acquire semen samples from infected crew and guests." She cocked an eyebrow.
"Say again? Did you say semen samples?" She got a lot of weird jobs but this was ridiculous.
"That's correct. The last upgrade we made to your body added a genetic storage and containment system. You can relieve them of their fluids, and your body will automatically store a sample for us. The excess fluids you can do with as you wish." Wow. That was news.
"You know. You guys really should let a girl know when you add stuff like that to her body. I think that would fall under 'manners' you know?" She cracked the lock and braced herself, slipping her fingers between the crack she forced the door open wide enough to enter.
"It must have slipped our minds. Anyways. There are sure to be numerous variations of mutation inside, we need samples from each distinct mutation. Then we need a pure sample of the parasite. It's sure to have generated a hive somewhere inside. Any questions Terra?" Terra slipped off her helmet and flight-suit, letting her nanite disassembler break them down and store them in her hip pack. Beneath the suit she wore a pair of low cut, baggy, black combat fatigues and a black tank top. Her white skin contrasted her clothes starkly, and her slick, violet hair stuck out even more.
"No command. Acquiring sample of infected air now." She took a deep breath, letting her internal systems store the sample. "Sample acquired. Proceeding to second objective...." She was somewhere in the medical bay, so she scanned for life-signs and headed down the first hallway that showed led to possible crew-members.
