Must… run…

“RAAARGH, SOUND THE AL-“

No more octopus guy. Red, I see red all over. Blood. Mine? A little.

The blood and dirt caked mass of white and black hair shifted, feral emerald eyes shining with resolution.

The door… Run. Run.

“She’s getting away! Catch her or I’ll feast on your blood tonight!”

HIM! Must run!! Where? Where? WHERE???
“ARGH!”

The small golden body was thrown violently against the stone wall, the slash of an invisible blade on her back amidst the smaller gashes, some fresh, some old. The vampire cackled, bidding his time. She’d taste the despair of being so close and yet so far.

Breathing… hurts… must run… light! A window!!

“It’s a long way down… Nowhere else to go, so come back and be mine…”

So high… maybe too much? No, it’ll be alright… One… Two…

“What the… STOP HER!”

Three.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A normal person would have died from such a fall. Yet, although dizzy and aching for more than one reason, the girl rose back up to her feet, her breathing labored, as if a huge weight was pressing against her chest. Just a slight movement of her torso and the weight took on a jagged edge, the sharp jolt of pain almost stealing all the air out of her lungs. She couldn't stop. Not now that she was finally out. Between sweat, blood and the slow jumbling of her senses, the slit pupils caught the bearings she needed to decide where to go next. The forest.
Run. Run like hell. Don't stop, NEVER stop.
With each step, her light body gained an extra measure of weight, gravity pulling down the enormous will that kept the flame alive. Best to die free than live in captivity. Those were her beliefs. The beliefs that, despite the bleeding whip lashes, broken ribs and battered muscles, drove her swiftly into the protection of the woods. However, it was too much. Conscience, like a feather, was slipping away, despite the pushes of the mind. Behind her, far behind, but approaching, the bark of dogs and humanoids alike, thirsty for blood. Her blood. Indeed, so close and yet so far.
Must... keep going... close...
Without a sound, the golden form spilled on the soft herbs of the clearing, her last stop before conscience finally flew away, only the bundle of hair blanketing the naked, wounded form, defenseless and worn out. Her body, mildly athletic, built to endure, seemed to shine under the moonlight, covered in dark golden fur, sprinkled with black cheetah spots on her forearms and forelegs, as well as the cheetah black eye lining and mask and naturally black lips. Between the almost absurdly long white and black wavy locks, one could appreciate her curves, her tasty C, almost D cup chest, and a long cheetah tail, lying inanimate. The only item of clothing on her was a blood red, worn out and tattered bandanna tying some of her ankle long strands of hair together. The only item she'd ever managed to keep throughout the years of fleeing and captivity. Awake, Kalu was trully a force to be reckoned with. Now... nearly broken and bent, she was at the mercy of the first passersby.
He heard to commotion from the castle even in his far off cabin, something was happening, an escape perhaps. He thought about following the noise for a few minutes before actually doing it. He gathered his fur coat, his long rifle and, most importantly, his courage. Jordan had no idea what would be out there at this hour, or if he should even be going out. The things from the castle left him alone as long as he left them alone, this action may be considered an act of aggression, more then an act of curiosity. He was more hoping for whatever was causing this ruckus was an escape, the rumors of what went on in that place...disturbed him.
After putting out the fire to prevent his home from burning down he left and headed towards the noise, his rifle at the ready, his brown eyes scanning his surroundings constantly, his ears listening for the tiniest noise, he would not underestimate his potential opponents, those things would rip him apart, Jordan had no intention of giving them a chance. His fear drove him to be extremely cautious, his feet taking careful steps. A sudden crack on the floor of the forest made him turn quick, before realising that his own foot had been the source of the noise.
He let out a sigh of relief as he trudged on, crossing a stream, his average form hidden by the furs he wore, the unkempt brown hair kept behind his head by a small piece of cloth. His normally smiling face was now filled by a sense of worry and determination. He shivered as he entered a clearing, and saw her, a strange amalgam of cheetah and human. “Quite strange.” he said softly noting the sound of dogs and inhuman things approaching. “Damn it.” He said noting the wounds on her body, he quickly removed the furs and wrapped her inside their warm confines. “Come on, we gotta get you out of here.” He said gathering the catwomen in his arms and starting to move quickly, his legs running as fast as they could in the current situation. When he go to the stream he ran down it, making sure to mess up and tracking efforts as best he could.
Several minutes later he placed the strange women on his bed, and began to dress her wounds, taking in the strange bestial beauty of her, his hands avoided doing anything inappropriate, though the one strange thing he did do was run his finger over her black lips, the strange color enticing him and made him lean in slightly. He quickly realized what he was going to do and stopped himself. He shook his head and went to restart the fire, after laying out some clothes that he estimated would fit her. “Now I wait for you to wake up.” He said with a small smile, making sure to face away from her to respect her privacy.
It took her a while to come around, as her body worked its magic. Slowly but surely, the damage the feline half demon sustained regenerated, gashes beginning to close, broken bones mended to the point it was a pain she could breathe with. A dreamless, deep sleep, far away from reality. Her rescuer's brave trek went unnoticed, as did his gentle care and curiosity. Only when Kalu began to wake up, stirring from her sleep, did the unfamiliar scents and the added weight on top of her clue her into not being stranded in the forest anymore. Her emerald eyes sprung open at the realization, ears at attention. The first thing she checked were her wrists and neck. No binds. Couldn't feel anything on her ankles either... The faint smell of fire reached her ebony nostrils, as did the scent of another, while her stare fixated on the ceiling. It seemed like a small house. So, all things put together. No binds. No threatening henchmen. No forced awakening. No grimy dungeon or luxurious, decadent bedroom. This wasn't a master's place. In fact it seemed... safe?
Slowly, Kalu sat on the bed, the movement drawing a soft whine from her. Her ribs still cringed a bit with each breath, but one couldn't expect celerity after such a fall. If everything was perfect, she wouldn't be alive. It'd heaven. She glanced to the figure crouched by the fire, ignoring the clothes Jordan had so respectfully laid out for her. Being naked was second nature to her. Even if her fur wasn't all that long, she'd grown so used to running around with nothing else covering her along the years that it made her no difference. Usually, any rag that she'd been given would be torn not too long after or itched far more than having nothing on. Plus, there was always the tail aspect of it. Having her tail constrained due to clothing not accounting for it... wasn't quite the feeling Kalu enjoyed, the appendage swaying behind her freely as she rose to her feet. "Mister?" she said softly, trying to draw his attention. Maybe he was doing some sort of meditation or something, and far from her to interrupt whatever he was doing. After being rescued from an almost certain doom, the least she could do was respect her savior. "Umm... thank you."
He was slightly startled by her whine, his human body shaking slightly as he continued to face away from her, he sighed slightly as he watched the fire, letting her make the first move to talk to him, giving her the lead in the conversation. His body was now visible, an average frame lit by the flames in front of him. His shirt was off, taking in the heat, scars from the animals he had hunted to survive. Currently hanging above the fire was some fish he had salted during the day, now cooking for his new guest. “Not a problem.” He said simply,”How are you feeling?” he said with sincere worry, “There are some clothes for you to wear if you choose.” He added. “I hope you don’t mind me having dressed your wounds. “ he said turning slightly looking to her emerald eyes. “I guess you don’t like clothes, guess its something I will...have to get used to.” He said, a blush spreading on his cheeks. “You’re welcome to stay here as long as you want. The fish should be done in a few minutes if you want to stay for it.”
He smiled weakly as he turned back around. stoking the fire and making sure not to burn the fish. “My name is Jordan, mind if I know yours, and exactly...what you are?” He spoke trying to be as polite as possible. “And why those...things were after you?” He shivered as he spoke of the inhabitants of the castle. “If you are worried about being found by them, you should be safe here, at least for a few days.” He solemnly added, using the tongs to remove the fish from the above the fire and into a pan to cool down. “Also...” the blush on his face grew larger as he looked back to her. “You are amazingly beautiful...” He said softly, glancing away from her as he spoke. He hoped she would take this compliment as that, not as some lead-in to what, if the rumors were true, she had been forced to do back at that horrible castle.
As she drew near, her eyes drew to the scars that laced his back. This man ahd clearly spent a long time in the wild. Fighting for his life. From the healing scars on her back, Kalu could connect to that, feeling more at home knowing this was someone who knew the dangers of the wild. Perhaps that wouldn't scare him off of her. Humans had crossed her path, at first drawn to her feral beauty, only to walk away when wild nature showed, denying her aid. Maybe it was one of the reasons she had been stuck in slavery for so long, despite her spirit. Kindred souls were hard to come by - in fact, he was the first one she'd come across since her first dive into the dark world of slavery. The mention of clothes made her smile, looking back to them. Still, the demoness felt fine enough as she was. "Not at all, thank you for your help..." She giggled softly at his embarassment. Cute. "Sorry, it's stronger than me. I can put on the clothes if it disturbs you so much."
He could feel the edges of her soft fur as she stood by his side, her tail waving gracefully behind her. "Kalu. I'm..." She sighed, staring at the fire intently. That was a tough question. One even she couldn't answer fully. "... some sort of... hybrid. My mother was a cheetah demon. Apparently, we were one of many races meant to serve as food, slaves or henchmen to the beings with power. Energy is stored in our blood, and those who drink it, if exhausted, are rejuvenated. However... mine not only regenerates them... their power increases for as long as it lasts within them." One simple truth that had lead to such a dedicated pursuit. It could be the enough to tip scales of power, otherwise balanced. Between those of power, the few who had come into contact with such information held it to themselves jealously, and one in particular was willing to risk it all to hunt it back to their possession. "They will come. Nowhere's safe."
Her brow raised at the compliment, her eyes sliding from the fire to his face. Cute indeed. Kalu smiled softly, sitting by his side. "Thanks. It's... nice to hear that." she said, giggling lightly. It was nice to hear that without a second intention, without the threat of rape looming over her head. Despite her grim past, Kalu retained a gentle side that rarely came out. Jordan was lucky to see it first hand.
He blushed deeper as he felt her eyes on his body, it was something he was not used to, a strange kind of human interaction out here, in the middle of nowhere, it was something he welcomed immensely. He smiled as she moved closer to him, his eyes only glancing to hers in nervous bursts. He had never had much contact with civilization, having grown up in this very cabin and living with his father until he passed, and because of this the sight of a woman, of any kind, was new and strange to him. The appearance of his current company merely complicated this matter further. “I-it doesn’t disturb me...I, I just have not had much interaction with the fairer sex.” He admitted summoning the courage to turn his head to look at her fully, his skin red with the light of the fire and his own rushing blood.
When the tips of her fur deftly touched his skin, it only made his blush that much worse. “Kalu....A very nice name” He said trying to suppress the nervous tone that rose up in his voice over his efforts. He listened to her story, and found that it struck a cord with him, an entire race of people made purely to be food for others, it was sickening. “You seem like a large prize for those who wish to use your blood.” He said with a solemn sigh. “I have no such intention, I would never use a sapient and sentient in such a manner.” He spoke with near grim determination, before his face again returned to its nervous composure as she sat herself next to him. “N-not a problem.” he was exceptional nervous now, her body close to his. “A-are you hungry? “ He said trying to change the subject to something else as he started to poke at the fish checking if they were cool enough to eat.
‘No one deserves to be used as food.’ He shivered as he thought. ‘If she stays, I will keep her safe, I will do all in my power to protect her. No one has the right to own anyone else.’ He statement was short, but his the way those thoughts went through his head made it ring true, he meant every one of those words.
Kalu gave him a toothy grin, absolutely amused by his bashfulness. Had he never been around a female before? It sure seemed like it. If anything, there probably had been none around for a long time. Wouldn't surprise her if the not much interaction was actually zero. Still, her smile faded once more as he commented on her hunted status, a chord struck within her. The cool light mirrored within his eyes on that instant made her wonder what was the real fiber of the timid hunter by her side. Most definitely, stronger than his stuttering discomfort towards her. Within her, curiosity and respect dawned, just for that little moment. Perhaps this could be a place to linger for a time. She did need to recover. Despite the superficial regeneration, it'd still take a couple of days to have it all set back in place. Plus, in the end of the day, Kalu owed Jordan more than a simple hello, thanks and fleeing off into the darkness.
The thoughtful expression left her as soon as he offered her nourishment. Fish, of all things. Her stomach unconsciously growled, making Kalu blush. "Um... yes?" The girl giggled lightly, half embarassed for the dead give away. They hadn't fed her since she'd arrived to the castle the day before, plus the regen process only made her metabolism speed up further. For all accounts, Kalu was starving.
Jordan blushed as she seemed to continue to stare at him, taking his blush that much deeper as he poked at the fish. He almost felt like she was looking at him like a piece of meat himself, but that feeling was momentarily lost, it became softer, and warmer. He shivered as he swore he felt her tail on his back, making him look at his back suddenly, finding nothing behind him. “S-sorry.” He said turning back to the pan, now placing them on an earthen plate. “Here, enjoy them Kalu.” He said offering her the plate of the two fish. “Do you need any utensils?” he asked, looking to her, his eyes lingering on her lips for a moment, his blush in full view to her. “Kalu, Please...Stay here...At, at least until your healed.” He asked, glancing away several time. He wanted her to stay for more then just her well-being, this was, in fact, his first experience with a women, he didn’t want it to end badly, but he would not force himself on her.
He sighed softly, knowing that is was more likely that she would leave, making sure to stay on the move to stay free. For a flash an idea was in his head, he could follow her. But that would mean leaving the place he knew best, giving up his inheritance. The idea would stay in the back of his mind. “Are you enjoying the fish?” He asked, trying to get back to her, instead of his own desires.
Her ears instantly perked up as he presented the fish to her, taking all of her fiber not to pounce on the plate and devour them whole. Not that the end result wasn't practically the same - the difference was she actually waited for him to put the plate down and managed to not jump on them, though her tail mirrored her excitement, waving excitedly behind her. His words seemed to go through one ear and out the other though, as the half demon just reached out and ate straight out of her hands. In the end, only the head, tail, and skeleton remained, any flesh cleaned away almost surgically by her white fangs. The blush and embarassment went unnoticed, the girl far more focused in eating than her surroundings for those few minutes (seconds?). Enjoying the fish? Clearly, she had.
With a happy sigh, Kalu licked her fingers and laid down on her back, her hands resting over her satisfied stomach. She could live like this, in a small cottage in the middle of nowhere, with no one knowing where she was. And some nice company to add to that. While it lasted, she'd make the most of it. "I'll stay... I'm in no condition to run off as is..." she finally replied, eyeing him. "I have nothing to repay you with though, other than the company a cat can provide..." Kalu rolled to her side, raising her torso as she leant against her elbow. Suddenly, her enticing black lips were, once again, daringly at Jordan's range, the fire casting an alluring light over her entire form, highlighting her satin fur and seductive curves. The hand that was free moved over to his leg, a taunting caress.
He smiled and chuckled at the way she went at the food, she could barely hold herself back. She was quite cute, the way that her graceful body hid her bestial nature. She looked as though she belonged in the wild at that moment, and the next, right there, laying down next to him. Her body lit up in just such a way by the fire. Her black lips, still so strange and alluring to him, seeming to be just out of reach as he looked at her. His blush was still growing as he watched her form. “Kalu, what exactly do you mean by ‘the company a cat can provide.” He asked, nearly whispering as he now realised her hand was on his leg, the touch sending so many electric charges through his body as it shivered.
While still shivering ever so slightly he leaned into her, “I-I hope this is not unwanted...” He said softly, before claiming the prize, pressing his lips ever so softly to hers, his body filling with energy as he remained there for a short moment. Her lips were, in a word, perfect, the wrinkles of the flesh seemed to mesh perfectly with his, his soft movement further filling him further with energy. “Thank you.” He whispered, his hand now rubbing her arm that she was caressing him with. From just that moment he was full of more energy then he thought his body could contain. “Thank you, for letting me sample your wonderful satin lips.” he whispered softly, gathering the courage to move his hand to her back, gently rubbing up and down her spine as he stared into her emerald eyes. “Thank you.” He simply repeated, the small action of her interest in him, meaning more to him then a million words.
He could feel her purr into his lips as they joined, a small current of energy flowing through her own body, making her soft fur stand for a moment. When they parted, the blush was on her, her cheeks warm underneath the fine fur. What had been that feeling? It seemed something within her had changed when they kissed, but she couldn't exactly put her finger on what. His hand upon her back sent shivers of pleasure, her spine arching slightly and bringing her closer to the hunter, leaning her chest against his, her tail moving aside each time his hand went lower across her length. Kalu couldn't place what it was, but his touch, more than gentle, seemed... just right for her. Could it be? She had to know more.
Before he could voice his gratitude again, Kalu merged their lips once more, and the same intense energy surged, drawing her feline tongue out to play with his, drawing him in. Her purr intensified, and her hand wandered from his leg to his chest, slowly, ever so slowly, continuing up his neck to the back of his head, claws lightly raking his skin. Kalu had had crushes here and there, but nothing that had spurred her on like this so much. She wanted to see how he'd react, breaking the kiss and leaning back on her elbows, waiting.
Jordan shivered, almost violently as he felt and heard Kalu’s purring, it seemed to have a rhythm to it, a melody meant for him alone, it was a symphony of both her inhuman bestial power, and her human stunning beauty, all formed into a single, luxurious sound. Her second kiss was indescribably better then the first, her tongue and purring, her claws ever so slightly cutting him, gave him a sense of happiness he had never felt before. The experience was breath taking, literally. He had to force himself to breathe several times after she broke their embrace, something he would happily go through again and again for such a feeling. “Kalu...” He said ever so softly, surely just barely enough for her to hear it.
He never finished that sentence, he simply moved closer, his hand pulling her to him at the same time, his lips pressing to hers again, his tongue escaping into her mouth this time as he closed his eyes and simply enjoyed her touch for a few moments. “K-Kalu...” He trailed off after breaking the kiss, “M-may I explore you.” He whispered in that ever so soft tone a tone that accepted denial, and welcomed permission. His eyes were locked with hers as he spoke those words, his hand again on her spine,trailing one finger up and down the center of her back.
It felt almost unnaturally right. Almost? Scratch that. It was most definitely unnatural. But that didn't really matter. Kalu had enjoyed the sensation, and would most certainly not deny him more. The faint whisper of her name sent a shiver down her spine, tilting her head as she eyed the hunter intently, expectant. It was with an inner joy that she recieved Jordan as he sought her kiss again, and felt him brave against her barbed tongue, pulling her closer to his warm embrace. It would have been quite the interesting joke played on her by fate if her thoughts were true... if it wasn't such a real feeling. The half demoness had never expected it to actually be anything close to this, so palpable... but, even if her mother had told her, she wouldn't have believed.
His question, so polite and innocent, made the golden feline giggle softly, not mocking, but tender. Such gentle ways were highly appreciated, a welcome change from the brutality of her life, where the last thing Kalu had was a say in what happened to he rown body. "Of course..." she whispered back, purring. "Don't be afraid..."
Jordan was blushing deeply, even as his face showed his happiness at being allowed to roam this golden feline’s body. His eyes were full of appreciation for her permission as he pressed his lips once more to her’s, his gently pulling on her lower lip as he broke the kiss. His lips started to slowly trail down her chin, moving very slowly on her neck, his tongue gently peeking out to taste her fur and skin for nary a moment. His hand on her back still worked her spine for several strokes, before he moved it carefully to tentatively caress her bottom, his fingers being the only part of his hand that truly touched her. “Kalu...” He whispered in that same tone, his entire body more then enjoying the sound of her purr.
“I feel, like I am touching a goddess.” He whispered, his lips only half way down her neck. He shivered as he took in between his lips the nape of her neck, his tongue gently messaging the flesh, he was moving very slowly, every movement made with her in mind. “If you want me to stop, just tell me.” He said, taking one small lick across her shoulder.
When he broke the kiss, Kalu found herself, in the moment alone, wishing for more, her tongue licking his lips lightly just as they bit her lower lip in playful caress. Still, as he began drawing a path down her neck, the bliss didn't end, the girl leaning her head back, exposing the softed, furred neckline for him to sample, the purr especially intense against his exploring lips with each touch on her neck. A sensitive spot, like so many other cats, and Kalu was no exception. Still, maybe it just didn't matter where he touched her. It was all good. Some places better. But all good.
Her back was no different, drawing her body closer and closer to his, even with such a light touch. When his fingers trickled lower, her tail swayed to the side, part of an instinctive reaction ingrained inside her feline kind, a sign of welcoming. Maybe not of readyness, but it was still too early to tell. "Why... would I want you to stop..." The girl purred, completely entranced by Jordan.
Jordan shivered as he felt the demoness' tail move, his hands moving in response, gently kneading her behind as he looked into her emerald eyes. "Thank you, Kalu." He said softly, his lips pressing against her fur as he spoke. His lips started slowly moving lower on her body, much more cautious and hesitant, his tongue searching for that triangle of soft flesh
just below the neck, and where the collar bones meet. Finding its target, his tongue lapped at the spot, his lips pressing to her furred skin, and he began to softly suckle on this spot.
After several moments he pulled away slowly, looking up to her again, and pressing his lips to hers, and gently used his tongue to pierce her lips, he explored her mouth for just a moment, and then pulled away, smiling with a teasing grin as he returned to taste her skin. The lips of the hunter cautiously pressed against the flesh of her right breast, his tongue lashing out to taste it as he searched, blindly for her nipple, his hands still working her rear ever so gently. After agonizing moments of exploration, his lips found the most delicious part of a women yet, and he began to ever so softly suckle from this tit.
She felt like melting away under his touch, his tongue, his ever so delightful deference and inexperience. Maybe it was beginner's luck, but the way Jordan dragged out all his actions, leaving Kalu in anticipation, made her enjoy every single one of his actions even further, as if he was letting every little bit sink in before moving on. A sweet, sweet torture that was rewarded with each and every move of his.
The grin made a brow raise on the halfbreed's face, but it quickly was replaced by an expression of lust, semiclosed eyes watching the boy's lips intently as they searched her breast, his pink tongue tracing paths across her soft fur, and, when he finally found the nipple, ebony like her lips, a fang bit the lower black lip, a low moan leaving her as Jordan sucked on the quickly hardening bit of flesh. Between her legs, Kalu was starting to feel it, the moistness of arousal, spreading her legs in an impulse that, in any other occasion, she would have done her best to prevent. For Jordan, it was open for the taking.
