Elinor walked bare foot down the sidewalk. Her new town was quiet during the night hours and she loved it. It gave her time to think. She'd been drifting for years trying to run away from things she had no control over.

She was a tiny thing, delicate in build but still curvy. She had long black hair that fell in waves around the top half of her body. Her large brown eyes had a way of creeping people out like she was looking into your soul.

When in fact she was, sort of in a way. She had the ability to know the instant of locking eyes with someone just what kind of person they were and what they were thinking. She mostly looked down in her life, making her look weak and timid.

She puts the earbuds of her headphones in her ears listening to the soft voices of Secondhand Serenade. The ragges material of her jeans brushed softly against the ground. The material had more holes than jeans but her vitals were coverd. The too small tee shirt hugged her curves as she walked.

Alone on the street in the middle of the night she finnally for the first time in life relaxed.

The man currently known as Craig Leaned on the bar wall on the outside of the bar door, yet hidden in a alcove designed for the patrons to smoke. He pulled a puff from the clove he was holding as his eyes looked threw the night seeing rather well due to the fact he was one of the nocturnal predators of the night itself. Not seeing anyone, he closed his eyes and relaxed into the night. Letting his other sense's expand out and enjoy the pleasure of the night.A trace smell caught his attention, taking a deeper breath he found the smell.Blinking his soft blue eyes as the girl moved across the door way to the alcove. Not but a few feet in front of him.

His sense's went on over time trying devour the cute morsel in front of him. Eyes sliding from bare feet to the top her head,Ear's perking trying catch the sounds on her head phones even as he dropped the smoke and crushed it Under one black boot. He didn't thou move from his position in the bar alcove as he licked his lips and watched her move past. He himself wore jeans which were loose from the knee down thought were tight across his midsection showing a man who took care himself. The T shirt, some faded local rock band that's so obscure and not forgotten that it was just paled grey designed over the black shirt. He pulled His jacket on fully from where he been holding it. Just a thin wind breaker, black as the shirt should have been if it was not faded.

He finally stepped out the alcove and moved to start to follow her as his sense's were telling him many things, and he was trying to firgure them out.

Relaxed and smiling she lifts her head and starts to sing softly, her voice sweet and alluring. "The Best thing about tonight is were no fighting...." She starts to dance a little as she walks. More confident in the dark than she would ever be in the daylight.
"Could it be we've been this way before?" She continues to sing.

Not paying attention she stumbles off the sidewalk twisting her ankle. "Oww." she yelps Scooting her way back to the side walk. Sadly the clumsiness was a usual event in her life. She stands and limping on she continues her journey towards her small flat a few buildings down.

Craig's ears perked at the singing. Hearing the new voice echo threw the night even as he followed her. His head tilted as he followed her threw the deserted town. His pale blue eye's watching her form dance from side to side. Eye's taking in each turn and flip of her curve as she walked and now paraded down the street in all her glory. He blinked watching her fall down onto the ground. a frown covered his face as he saw her begin now to limp. He decided, to break his cover for now and moved up to her slowly. Careful to come at her from a angle that would seem the least aggressive to the hurt woman. thou he was a predator and it could be told, even if a little in his movements

" Miss?" he said as he looked down at her small Petite form. he was easily a head almost two taller then her, and weighed about double what she did thou it was all corded muscle. " Can I help you?" He said with a accent that was faint thou not a towny from this local area. He Looked down and towards her soft brown eyes. He didnt know what made her special, but she did not seem like a normal member of the heard. she seemed more then meat for the beast.

Catching sight of the mans eyes she freezes, her eyes going seemingly blank. "Oh, um I could use a shoulder to lean on to make the next couple blocks." She smiles at him softly. She wasnt sure what she had seen inside of him. Is was like a large mass of random things. As if he'd seen a lot of things.

She starts to limp on towards her building. "Its just up here." She wasn't sure why she was letting this stranger help her, But she couldn't pass up the chance to figure this man out.

Inside his eyes would be thousand's of things. he smiled either way and then shook his head as she stated to lift and would scoop her up as if she weighed nothing. Which she did to him even if he wasn't paranormal. His biceps about the size her waist, well a little smaller. The mans one arm looped over her shoulder, even as his other held her knee's. He would nod towards the building she pointed at and moved off. He didn't seem to take no for a answer, and wasn't at all being.. grabby.

There seemed to be no motive except for carrying her in the way he carried her, this was not about lust. Just the want to help the woman who was hurt. " Mmm you got the key's?" he asked with a head tilted as he looked down at her.

Stunned she just let him carry her. "uhh yeah." She reaches in her pocket and pulls out her keys to the out side door. She reaches over to unlock it. "You didnt have to carry me." She smiles at him sweetly. Who was this man? He seemed strange to her more polite than other men her age these days. It caught her off guard.

"I'm on the second floor. Mr...." She says wondering what his name was.

He nodded to her alittle as he carried her easily up the flight's of stairs. His eyes sliding around the building as if he would protect her from anything that would jump out at them. " Mmm Yes?" he said with a grin and then chuckles a little." Madam. Where i was raised. you made sure women got home safe and that's that." He said with a smile as he stopped before the door she indicated. The Man tilted his head waiting for her open the door for him.

He carried her in slowly moving her threw the door and set her down on the couch." Oh. you can call me craig" he said with a smile and then chuckle's. " and what can i call the pretty lady i just held in my arms? mmm?" he said with a small wink.

"My name is Elinor. It's nice to meet you." She gestures to the couch. "Would you like to sit and relax?" She stands and hobbles to the kitchen. She turns the coffee pot on and hops up on the counter. Reaching over to the freezer, she grabs a bag of peas and lays it on her ankle.

"Would you like some coffee?"

The tall Man would put a hand out and help her the whole way." look. you cant do it, let me help." he said with a tilt of his head. " Sorry. I was raised with manner's. part of that is you don't let a woman who are hurt make you coffee" he said with a smile as he nodded thou. " Id love some, as long as you tell me what to do and how" he said with a smirk. He then moved to follow orders, moving graceful almost. the Man slide his jacket off and put it on a chair in the kitchen "You enjoy your cold produce. Ill make the coffee"

Smiling at the man, she tells him what to do and relaxes sitting on the counter. "So tell me about you, Craig." She smiles at the thought of the man in her flat. Boxes were still everywhere and you could see painted canvas' leaning panting side facing what wall on the upstairs loft part.

"I love hearing a good story."

He stopped making the coffee and then looked over at her.His eyes sliding to look over towards her his eyes locked with her own a second in thought. as if trying to decide as if how much and what to tell her, the mans predatory nature showed alittle in his eyes. He then looked back down and looked towards the coffee." Mmmm not much to tell. I am just a man who has older morale's and am a little strange." he then moved to pour them each a cup." I was born to royalty .. thou didn't matter much." he said as he haded her a cup." cream? sugar?" he asked.

"I drink it black." She smiles. "Can you help me to the couch?" She looks at him he was being secretive she caught another glimpse of something in his eyes she couldnt quite make out. She could tell he was a good man but he,d seen many things in his life.

The more she watched him the more she wanted to paint him. He had thr perfect face for it. She smiles at him again sweetly.

He sighed a little over dramatically" I Guess. damn so needy." he said thou with a smile, the tone playful even as he moved to wrap one arm around her and hoist up. Yes. he carried her easily just with the one arm. the mans eyes sliding around as he moved back towards the couch. he would put her down and grinned." and my young lady? what do you do for a living?"

"I am an artist" she says breathless at his strength. " the starving artist kind " she laughs. " I'm not sure I'm any good." She smiles. She was starting to feel silly smiling like a fool. Blushing a bit she turns away and turns the radio on turning it down low. "She sips her coffee and gestures for him to sit next to her.

Brushing her hair out of her face she lays the bag of peas down on the table.

He chuckle's as she said she was starving and looked at her. " You do not look under feed to me at all." he said with a wide grin then turned to Look down at her ankle. He didn't notice the blush. or at least didn't comment on it right away. He moved to sit beside her and lifted her foot and leg into his lap. and began a slow massage. Not touching the hurt area but working out the tightness around it. seeking to relieve the tension and pressure around her injured area." your good. i seen your work. least the two or three in this apartment and they looked great"

"OH mmm." She sighs leaning her head back, smiling. She was long over due for a foot massage. "Well then if you like my work, you must let me paint you." She looks at him a soft smile on her face. She hugs one of her small throw pillows to her chest. "Please." She begs eagerly.

He looked at her, as he blinked a little." You just want a excuse to get me out of my cloths don't you. You little minx" he said as he shakes his head teasing her. the man had more years doing massage, then her last three generations of family added together had lived. so he knew exactly how to stroke out each sore muscles. she even felt the sprain shift and slowly become better then a simple massage may make it.

"You dont have to be naked...if you dont want to be." SHe teases him as her body relaxes. "What type of music do you listen to Craig?"

He chuckles as his hands moved up into her pant's. The man now working against calves of both legs. the mans eyes sliding closed as he murred gently" Mmm my taste's are very.. eccentric." he admitted alittle as he move down over her ankles again. a twist. it hurt then.. Nothing. the ankle was fixed. like magic.

"Oh wow." she moans softly. "That really is amazing." Laying back on the couch with the leg still in his lap she closes her eyes. still smiling she pats his arm. "You are amazing at that."

sighing she sits up and taking her now cold coffee to the sink, she rinses out the cup and leans against the counter. "So you never anwsered me. Will you let me paint you?"

He chuckles a little and shakes his head" I guess so." he said with a grin as he moved to stand and slide his shirt off. the man moved over and sat on the table and.. Posed. arm flexed, sitting like the thinking man. and yes, he really was in good shape. thou the strangest thing was the mangled mess scars all over him. so feint they almost silver lines.. on his pale flesh.

"Oh." She gasps walking over and sliding her warm fingers gently across the faint scars. "What happened?" She looks up into his face sadly. She continued to run her hand over his flesh.

years of people trying to kill you.. It add's up." he said simply, as if that explained it all to the younger woman. he then smiled alittle and nodded." is this good? or you want a better angle?" he asked with a wink. trying to tease her.

KNowing he wanted to change the subject she smiles. "Hmmm, maybe if you come up to studio, you can lay on the couch." She winks at ahim and turns walking up the spiral stairs to the 2nd level.
