Elinor walked bare foot down the sidewalk. Her new town was quiet during the night hours and she loved it. It gave her time to think. She'd been drifting for years trying to run away from things she had no control over.
She was a tiny thing, delicate in build but still curvy. She had long black hair that fell in waves around the top half of her body. Her large brown eyes had a way of creeping people out like she was looking into your soul.
When in fact she was, sort of in a way. She had the ability to know the instant of locking eyes with someone just what kind of person they were and what they were thinking. She mostly looked down in her life, making her look weak and timid.
She puts the earbuds of her headphones in her ears listening to the soft voices of Secondhand Serenade. The ragges material of her jeans brushed softly against the ground. The material had more holes than jeans but her vitals were coverd. The too small tee shirt hugged her curves as she walked.
Alone on the street in the middle of the night she finnally for the first time in life relaxed.
