However she had made quite a bot off of her travels with other people, and had just bought herself new armor and weaponry. She was the daughter of a soldier and knew a little bit about swordplay which is what helped her get so far, but she had yet to encounter anything dangerous. She had just left her last city a few nights ago and was now traveling alone.
She stepped down the quiet path the sounds of cicadas filling the air around her. The breeze was slow and somewhat warm, but very enjoyable. The trees seemed to be swaying left and right around her as she stepped and it sounded like a natural concert going on. Alice soon decided to at least take a break, and walked off of the trail a small ways in order to find a good place to sit down and enjoy herself.
