The sounds of the forest filled the air, all around him it was like the fores twas speaking to him through the tree's, the animals, even the grass that was below his feet as he walked along the trail of the forest. His name was Aries, he was a dark elf also known as a drow elf, but unlike the others he had come out to the ground above without fear. His long silver hair marked him as one not of the above world easily, as did the color of his eyes they were a deep red color almost like blood. His skin was an odd color not black as some would say the dark elves are, it was a dark grey color that seemed to fit perfectly with him. His body powerful and tall though not broad, he stood at maybe six foot two, his body not overly muscled as a warrior would be, but he was covered in not an ounce of fat. While he might not be overly muscled his body was as hard as iron, he was lithe as a cat and as ferocious as a wolverine when needed.

His upper body was not even covered by the barest of clothing, it was as if he wore showing of his chiseled physique for any and all to see, his feet made near no sound as he wore no shoes this day. Hell if it were not for the crudely made kilt like piece of clothing Aries would be stark naked here in the forest. His only weapons were his hands and a dagger at his waist, he was not on a hunt or out for battle so he had no need of his double bladed sword. He was merely taking a walk in the forest today as the sun bared down on the earth, the tree's blocked the majority of the sunlight making it cool on the forest ground, all in all it was a nice day. The forest was a vibrant green as it was spring and almost everything was in bloom, it was beautiful at least to one who became sentimental about such things.

The forest was vibrant and thriving for a reason. It was lush and beautiful for a reason. That reason was small, winged, strong, and beautiful. It was a nature fairy that called these woods home. She cared for them and looked after it. She nutured animals when they were injuried and played with them. She was goregous and there was rumors of something magical in the woods, but no one ever saw her.

She made all her own clothes with different kinds of materials: leaves, flowers, silk, or items she found. At the moment she was wearing a lovely little outfit. She was flying through the woods and landed at the edge of a lake at the bottom of a beautiful waterfall. She sat on her knees on a rock in the middle of the water. She dipped her hands in the water and sipped some of the water.

Aries was continuing his walk through the forest when he felt it, it was like magic had lit up in the air yet no one, the forest seemed to also feel it as the wind blew by shaking the tree's and grass around him. He had to know what was doing such a thing as it was interesting, he stalked through the greenery slowly, his feet made not a sound now as he was fully focused on hiding his presence, his stalking brought him to the edge of a lake. Within that lake was something he had never seen before a fairy, he had heard the stories before of fairies and how each of them had a different purpose, looking at her one could surmise that she was indeed a fairy and most likely a nature fairy for the forest itself reacted to her presence. He was entranced by her and almost as soon as he had seen her he knew she had to be his, it was not a conscious thought it was like instinct telling him that she was to be his, he just had to make her his.

But he had to be careful he knew, for fairies were hard to catch which is why very few were ever caught, he had to approach her slowly and use the highest level of skill to catch her. Magic would be needed he knew, fairies were notorious for their level of trickery magic, he had heard they could turn invisible to escape or change size. He had to use the highest level of his magic to seal those abilities or else she would slip from his grasp as easily as air did. Aruin collar spell would work well for this, it would allow him to control her magic only so he could let her use her powers if he wanted but he could also seal them right away again. His said the words under his breath summoning the magic to his body, and within a few second he yelled out the last word "Lanesto!". A piece of black magic shot from his hand straight towards the fairy, aimed right at her neck so lock in place it was the Aruin collar something that could give him control over her if it made contact.

She was just sitting there. Drinking and minding her own business. She was not bothering as sole. Fish in the lake were gathered around the rock she was sitting on. She was smiling at them, even petting a few. The sun shined off her golden hair and added to her beauty. She had a lovely little pink dress on as it was her day off from working in the woods so she didn't have to worry about getting it dirty. She stretched as she got up and prepared to fly to the grassy bank for a nice nap in the grass. As she got up she heard the yelled and turned around in the direction. She prepared to turn herself invisible when something hit her in the neck and throw off her feet. Luckily she land on her back on the rock. She groan as she slowly sat up. One hand went to her head, the other to her neck. She cried out as she felt the collar, which caused her to jump up and try to remove it.

Aries watched as his spell hit right on, she was trapped now as the only way to stop the Aruin collar was to block it from ever hitting in the first place or having the magic user who conjured it up destroy it. Of course it seemed this fairy did not know of the rule of the Aruin collar as she had jumped to her feet and was trying to pull it off with her hands, he did not even rush to stop her for physical strength could not even make the collar wiggle. Aries walked out of his hidden position now and looked at her calmly, his crimson eyes took in every detail now that he did not have to worry about her running away from him, she was truly beautiful he thought to himself with a smile upon his cold features. With a wave of his hand Aries drew to collar towards him and the fairy with it, she would be pulled against her will with no way to fight as she would soon find her magic did not work, "tell me your name fairy" he said in a low tone that seemed to radiate with an unknown power as he looked at her calmly.

She whimpered as the collar didn't budge an inch. She looked over at him as she saw him come out. She looked in fear at him as she stood on the rock in the middle of the lake. The fish had all swam off in fear. She screamed as she felt her body move to him against her will. She landed in his hand and looked up at him as her blue eyes only held fear in them. "Ellandra." She whispered softly. "Who are you and want do you want?"

Aries listened to her name and let it echo around within his head over and over, it was a nice name he had to admit to himself, now he turned his attention back to his little captive. "Well you see Ellandra I am Aries and as to what I want well by the collar around your neck that should be fairly obvious", he said as if explaining to a child as he smiled down at her calmly. "I have heard many stories of fairies and their beauty among other things about them but I did not believe such tales until I laid eyes upon you, in the moment that I witnessed your beauty even in that tiny form I knew I had to have you as my own". He explained to her in the same calm voice as if this was completely normal to him, though it was not he had never felt this drawn to anything in his life before her, it was like he was the one with a spell cast upon him.

Ellandra whimpered as she stood there in his hand with him just staring at her. "Why would you want me? I am just a nature fairy. Besides if you take me this forest will die! You can't take me! Please let me go! Please!" She begged soflty as she moved forward in his hand, closer to him. She looked him over and blinked, "You are a Dark Elf. What are you doing above ground? No, Dark Elf ever comes above ground, so why are you here? Aries, right? That is your name?" She asked as she had briefly heard him before and wanted to make sure.

Aries listened to her protests about how the forest would die if she left here, honestly he did not care if she did not want to leave but killing the forest was something he would also avoid. So he could not sell her not that he ever planned to but it was an option earlier, "Why do I want you? silly question to ask my dear you are the embodiment of beauty and a fairy is a very rare treat to any man able to catch one" he explained calmly before giving her a playful wink. As she mentioned him being a dark elf and then firing off a barrage of questions towards him her laughed, "yes the name is Aries try not to use it too much, now as for why I am above ground well simply put I found the darkness rather droll to be in all the time so I came up here". He said nonchalantly as he began to carry towards his home, it would take twenty minutes of walking time so they would have plenty of time to talk, "now as for the forest it will be fine because we are not leaving it I am merely taking you home".

Elie crossed her arms over her chest as she glared at him, "You think it is enough for me to just be here? Well, it isn't! I have to go around and give life to those that are whilting, I have to care for those that are young. How I am to do that if I am trapped inside your house, because you decided to take me as a pet, when fairies are not something you take as a pet!!" She yelled at him as she looked around, "Where is your house? Underground. How dark of a life is that gonna be?" She groaned soflty.

Aries listened to go on another rant about how she was the life of the forest and such, "yes I can understand that but you see I don't care, while I care about the forest sure you are my priority and maybe if you are good we can work out a deal of sorts". He had a deal indeed for her, now to answer her question about where he lived which was a bit annoying seeing as she would see it soon enough but hey there was no harm in telling her. "My house is not underground so it is not dark at all, or did you not listen to the whole I came above ground because the dark is dreary explanation?" he asked in an exasperated tone, "it is at the base of the mountain a little log house I made months ago not a cave or some hole in the ground".

Elie nodded, "I am sorry. I am asking a lot of questions, because I am freaking out and I tend to talk a lot when I am scared." She looked up at him. "A log cabin? Wow.. That sounds really nice actually." She turned to face him and sat down. "A deal? What kind of deal?" She asked softly. She was just sitting their silently as she waited for his answer. That was until she heard a loud hawk screetch. She gasped and stood quickly. "Hide me! Please! Hurry! If that hawk sees me he will try to eat me!" She gripped his thumb as she tried to hide behind it.

Aries just looked forward as she apologized for asking so many questions of him, he did not care what she asked as long as she realized he was in charge for now. Which it seemed she did for instead of trying to run she sat down in his hand asking what kind of deal, but then before he could answer they were interrupted by what he thought might be an enemy from the way the fair was freaking out. But to his surprise and annoyance it was nothing more then a hawk, he looked into the air and caught sight of the hawk quite easily, "nastair" was the single word that he said to the hawk and suddenly it flew away from them. "For someone who keeps the forest alive you don't know much do you?" he asked in a curious tone as they were but five minutes from his home now, "just using the ancient language makes them understand it is taught during childhood in dark elf societies". He explained calmly as he looked down at her, "now as for the deal I mentioned earlier it is also simple, you are collared by me and so I own you as such you will do as I say and in return I will allow you to keep this forest alive if you refuse I keep you anyways and the forest dies".
