Aidan yawned as he awoke, the bright light of the sun shining through the windows and onto his bed. He sat up, fixing his messy black hair as he slid his legs over the side of the bed. It was a sunny spring day, and his parents had just left for a week-long cruise, leaving him and his twin alone in the house for well, a week. Aidan stretched, standing up as he made his way through the house and to Daniel's, his twin, room. He sighed, twisting the doorknob and walking into the room.

Daniel was sound asleep, oblivious to the world around him. Aidan smiled to himself, [/i] He's so cute.. Aidan thought, sitting down on the bed beside him. He ran a hand through Daniel's hair, "Daniel." Aidan said, laying a hand on his shoulder. He shook him lightly," Are you awake?" He questioned, smiling as he did so.

Daniel stirred as Aiden ran a hand through his hair and opened his blue eyes a tiny bit, not wanting to get up. Of course, with the sun shining through, he probably should. He let out a sigh and looked up at his brother with a smile, his black hair slightly falling over his eyes.

"I am now," he murmured as he rolled onto his stomach from his side and stretched his arms out in front of him with a small moan. He then got up onto his knees and smiled again at his brother as he brushed aside some of his own hair; he told himself mentally it would probably need to be cut a bit soon so it wouldn't fall in front of his eyes so much.

"So, you excited Mom and Dad are gone for a while?" he asked teasingly with a chuckle.

Aidan stood up, looking down at his brother. He chuckled, "Okayy." Aidan commented, flashing a friendly smile. His black hair fell down to his mid-neck, his eyes were also blue. Daniel and Aidan had always been close, and resembled each other fairly well.

" Actually, I'm quite excited they finally left us alone for a week. I'm so glad they didn't leave us with anybody, that would have sucked." Aidan said, his eyes flashing over to the window and back down to his brother. " Hey, will you make me some coffee? I don't want to risk burning down the house." Aidan added, snickering. It was true, Aidan didn't have a very good relationship with cooking, he once tried making toast and the toaster had exploded.

Daniel chuckled and rolled his eyes. "Tell me about it. I think we've both been old enough for a good three years now to not need a baby-sitter. Maybe they've finally picked up on that," he said with a smirk.

At the request from his brother, he laughed. "Yeah, I'll take care of it; I was going to make myself some, anyways." He got to his feet and stretched again, having put on a simple white shirt and just his boxers. He ruffled Aiden's hair playfully as he walked by him on his way out of the room. He walked easily down to the kitchen and began to set up the coffee pot, having done so plenty of times to know exactly what he was doing.

It wasn't very long before the coffee pot began to actually make the coffee, and Daniel placed two mugs next to it for when it would be done.

" Definitely," Aidan replied simply, a smile forming upon his lips.

" Oh my gosh, thank you so much!" He said, walking behind his brother. Aidan himself, was wearing a pair of skinny jeans, and was shirtless. He chuckled," Really?" Aidan asked his brother as he ruffled his hair. He quickly fixed it, smiling as he rushed to mess up his brother's own hair. Aidan looked through the fridge, wondering if there was any alcohol." Hey, Daniel, do you think there's any alcohol?" He asked, closing the fridge door and taking a seat on one of the chairs that was set behind a bar that lied in the kitchen. He smiled, looking over to Daniel.

Daniel walked over to the bar and leaned on it with his hands and raised an eyebrow at Aidan. "Since when did you like alcohol?" he asked suspiciously, but a smile had crept up his lips that he hadn't been able to keep back. "I don't know; probably hidden pretty well since I'm sure our parents may have thought about it before leaving." He sighed. "I'm afraid I won't help you look, though; I don't plan on getting drunk any time soon."

And it was true: Daniel had never been one for alcohol. He knew a couple of ex-friends that had become alcoholics and...it wasn't pretty. So he had promised himself to stay away from that stuff as much as he could.

" Who said anything about getting drunk?" Aidan asked, an innocent look on his face as he fought with himself not to smile. He ran a hand through his hair, twirling a strand between his fingers," Ehh, you're probably right. I wouldn't be surprised if they took it all, anyways." Aidan added, sighing. He looked over to the oven, seeing the time. It was only 10:57, and it was a Saturday anyways. He stopped toying with his hair, reaching over to Daniels, twirling a piece between two fingers." Hmm, I like yours better," Aidan said, looking up at him. He smiled, his blue eyes having a certain kind of flash that they didn't normally posess.

"Ha, yeah; I wouldn't be so surprised if they even managed to sneak it on the cruise, if it got that far," Daniel added with a laugh. He didn't pull away as he felt his brother play with his hair and smiled at his comment. "People always do say I got more of Mom's soft hair than Dad's." He saw some sort of...look in Aidan's eyes, but what was it? He couldn't tell since, just a few seconds later, the coffee pot gave off a few beeps.

He hesitated for a moment before pulling away from his brother's hand and walking to the pot. He took it out and poured coffee into the two mugs before looking over his shoulder. "What do you want in yours?" he asked as he walked to the fridge to look for the creamer that he liked to put in his coffee.

Aidan chuckled,"Yeah, they would too." He replied,"People?" Aidan asked curiously.

Then, his brother pulled away from him. Aidan smiled, sighing," Sugar, cream, the caffeinated stuff," He said, leaning onto the table, supported by both of his elbows. He doubted that his brother even shared a little bit of the feelings he had for him. Aidan realized that it was wrong, of course, but he didn't care. " So..." He trailed off.

"People as in girls whom have tried hitting on me," Daniel said with a laugh, his back still to his brother as he made their coffee. It was true: he totally wasn't into girls. Then again, none of the guys really attracted him except for one....He got a fluttery feel in his heart just thinking about it.

It didn't take long for him to finish the coffee and he brought both mugs over to where Aidan was. He handed his brother's coffee to him and then sat down on a seat next to him at the bar in the kitchen. "So?" he asked curiously with a raised eyebrow as he took a sip of his coffee, being careful not to burn himself from it being so hot.

Aidan laughed also," Wow, not surprising." He stated, as Daniel brought the coffee over. He stared down at the coffee inside of it, thinking about something for a moment. Aidan finally looked up, looking over at Daniel.

" Well, you know that I'm gay, right?" Aidan asked, his face turning a slight shade of red as he took a sip of the coffee, staring back down into it. His hair covered up his expression, but he looked back over to Daniel once again. Aidan bit his lip, wondering what he was going to say.

Daniel stared at his brother for a moment, unable how to exactly respond to that. But then he just smiled warmly and gave his shoulder a reassuring squeeze. "I was a little thoughtful about it for a while," he admitted with a shy smile. "I'm glad you've told me, though. Of course I'll obviously be here for you if you need...I dunno, any help with it?" He chuckled and took another sip of his coffee.

He did admit to himself, though: His heart did a tiny flip when Aidan said he was gay.

Aidan smiled," Thanks." He said, already knowing that Daniel was gay, he had been for a few months. Aidan sipped at his coffee, setting it down on the table. He stood up, walking over to the coffee maker.

" It's just difficult, and confusing; that's all." Aidan stated, while pouring himself some coffee. He sighed, leaning against the kitchen counter and drinking some of his coffee. He knew that it could be possible that Daniel felt the same way, they were both gay. Something would happen, He told himself.

"I understand what you're saying, Aidan," Daniel said sincerely, his eyes following his brother as he got up to get more coffee. He had set his half-empty mug down on the bar and had turned around in the chair to look at Aidan. He was quiet for a moment before getting up and walking to him, a friendly smile on his face.

"And I know what you mean. But...if you ever need to talk about it, just tell me, alright? I'm always here for you." He ruffled his hair like he had earlier, but there was more in his eyes than just amusement...something deeper than that.

Aidan flashed a warm smile, his eyes sharing the same emotion that Daniel's held. He laughed, leaving his hair as it was for the time being," Kay," He responded. Aidan noticed the look in Daniel's eyes, and quickly made a decision. He was going to test him, to see if he felt the same way or not. Aidan moved a bit closer to Daniel, extending a hand and resting it on Daniel's hip. He raised an eyebrow, cocking his head to the side slightly. It was a risky move, and Aidan hoped that Daniel wouldn't become angry with him.

Daniel narrowed his eyes slightly in curiousity, frozen for a moment by his brother's sudden movement. Did it excite him? Well...yeah. He hated and loved to admit it, but the one male he was attracted to was actually Aidan. He had always tried not to think about it, convincing himself that Aidan never felt like that. And besides, the rest of society absolutely resented such a relationship. But what did he care? He was already hated because he was gay.

So he found himself giving a sly smile to Aidan and traced a hand down his spine. "You know....I didn't know you felt like that," he murmured, referring to Aidan's emotions towards him.

Aidan gave a small smirk, not expecting Daniel to react that way. He looked down for a moment, looking back up at Daniel," Of course I do," Aidan mumbled, inching closer as his hand touched his spine. A shiver ran down his back, his black hair gracing Daniel's neck. Aidan rested his other hand on the lonely hip, as they pressed up against each other. It was hard for Aidan not to smile, after all, he had wanted this for so long. " I want this so much," Aidan whispered, resting his head on Daniel's chest.

Daniel smiled at him and lifted his other hand to stroke Aidan's head as he rested his cheek on top of his head. He took in a deep breath and let it out slowly, enjoying the sort of smell his brother seemed to have. "I do, as well," he whispered into Aidan's ear as he pulled back and rested his forehead on Aidan's, their lips only inches away. He gazed steadily into Aidan's eyes with that tender look and gave a small smile before leaning in and kissing him on the lips.
