Craving of the Day:
It's real sappy hours right now lol. Also craving more story over smut. But I'm always open!
A Little About Me:
I'm a young adult trying to keep my head above water. I'm 27, I live in the south, and I have a low tolerance for ignorance. So you can imagine how well that works out.
First and foremost, I'm here as a writer. For the most part I want a story, not a quick one-shot rub. Make me think about how my characters would act, think about the consequences of their actions, etc. I've been writing for over a decade, so I have plenty of experience. However, I am by no means an expert. I'm always looking to further my experience and broaden my horizons, so don't be afraid to suggest things to me. I'm pretty easy to get along with, so as long as we communicate well, we shouldn't have any problems writing together.
My Schedule:
My work from home period is over (booooooo), and my regular schedule is 8-5 M-F. Weekends are my treat myself times so it's 50/50 if I'll be on. Otherwise, I have engagements every Saturday night.
Any prolonged absences will be listed under Status or on my profile. I don't tend to individually message status updates, just because that's very time-consuming.
The Good Stuff:
Now, on with the point of the thread. This is a general request thread, and I'll be updating this first post when ever I feel like it needs it. Also, don't be intimidated by the wall of text. It won't hurt you, I promise.
- I write mostly in pms. Email is also an option. No ims.
- Typically you can pick up on my plot vs smut mood from the Craving of the Day and plot suggestions, but if there are any doubts, I typically lean towards 2/3 plot, or half and half. But if you think you've got a pretty great smut-based story, don't be afraid to shoot it my way.
- I have a few hard No's, but even more things I'm open to and even excited to try. Please read over my F-list and save both of us some time. It's in my signature and on my profile. There's also things I only do when asked, so if it's not on the list, ask!
- I feel it important to point out up front that 99% of the time I'm not going to be interested in writing a story where my characters are ashamed for their sexuality. It's something I've dealt with too often in life and it typically has no place in my writing. If humiliation over sexuality is something you're wanting, it would be best to look elsewhere for it.
- I can play many different types of characters, and enjoy writing outside of my comfort zone to an extent. I like the challenge of writing a character I've never attempted before. I'm not very good at writing a (sexually) dominant character, but excel at switch and submissive.
- I enjoy both FxF and MxF pairings. Additionally, I will write with trans and non-binary characters, though I don't write them myself. However, this is not something I'll indulge as a fetish.
- A very important rule to me is "You play your character, I'll play mine". Unless we discuss it before hand, please don't presume to act or speak for my character. That's my second biggest pet peeve and something I will strongly consider dropping a partner over. In addition, if we're sharing a character, try to characterize them similarly to the way that I do. It doesn't make sense for a personality to drastically change every time a different person takes over.
- I don't have a hard standard for post lengths. I tend to have really long opening posts with lots of world set-up and then get shorter as the story progresses and interactions begin, so I'll understand if you're not sending me a Dickens novel every post. However, I do try to always keep it more than one or two sentences, and I like the same courtesy in return. I have a tendency to mirror what my partner puts out. Decent grammar and punctuation skills are also a must, because as many others have said, it's hard to have fun with a story when you can't understand what the hell you're reading. And just to be clear, I'm not worried about English being your first language. As long as it's legible, we're good.
- I'd also like to point out that while I don't mind a bit of pure smut, it's typically not what I'm looking for. Rather, I enjoy stories with a plot, and that plot involves sexual themes or scenarios. I want character development and description, and I want to write with characters who act like real people, not actors in a bad porno. Just a tip on how to keep me engaged.
Now that I've written you a book, let me just say that I'm here as a writer, and with that comes a burning desire to write stories that have depth and character. So hit me up with ideas. I love exploring new plots and making memorable stories. (=
General Plots:
(Just some basic ideas from some of the many plots in my head. These can all be MxF or FxF. Preferred roles will be listed, if any, but it's not the only role I'll take unless stated otherwise.)
♥ On Strange Shores - A person has been kidnapped! They've been taken by vikings that raided the small village as a prisoner back to their distant shores. Do they fight back, try to escape? Or will the vikings break their spirit? Only we can tell. (I can do either roll for this and I'm really feeling it right now.)
♥ Modern Day Vampire - A lone vampire is just trying to live their life, but a local (or new neighbor) who's heard rumors about the secluded rich family at the end of the drive decides they have to investigate. The truth is far stranger than they imagined, and they quickly realize they might be in over their head.
♥ The Chaos of Space - A young ship's captain finds herself in a precarious situation while on a routine run between major space stations. I have several ideas for this, including space monsters, space pirates, being stranded, etc. (Strongly prefer the captain)
♥ Deals with Demons - A girl, driven to desperation, seeks help from the only source she feels she can turn to - summoning it from the ethereal plane. Maybe she succeeds in her summoning, but maybe things go not quite as she planned, or even horribly wrong. (Prefer the girl)
♥ Deals with Demons 2: Electric Boogaloo - Similar idea, opposite roles: A demon has goals and she'll do what it takes to achieve them, even if it means making a deal with this human she found or that summoned her. (Prefer the demon)
♥On Death's Doorstep - An innocent civilian is caught in the crossfire between two warring supernatural factions. One side recovers the unfortunate victim and decides to help them. However, it requires turning the human into their own kind. First there's the transformation, not to mention the effects that would follow...
♥Out In The Cold - Very basic idea - a girl is lost in the woods or the mountains mid-winter and any number of hardships can occur.
