It wasn't like the wolf had a choice. Pulling twelve hour days, seven days a week and he just did not have the strength to come home, cook dinner and clean the manor. The wolf made a call, and pulling in seven figures a year working as the best damn private security.

The company was more than willing to send a live-in maid for him, and he was more than happy to pay a hefty salary. She was due in just after he'd gotten home. Rio was a mess, his fur wasn't brushed, he'd barely changed out of his work clothes into just jeans and he looked tired.

Taking a deep sigh, he was sitting in his kitchen, sipping on some whiskey, just waiting on the door bell. His deep brown eyes rested on the quiet TV as he tried to keep his frazzled demeanor to himself, even with the new arrival due soon in.

Rin gave a sigh as she looked through her things, the company was sending her to a new home because the current home's son had fallen in love with her. She knew it wasn't her fault yet she had only felt the pain of being just dumped off again. Shaking her head she tried her best not to think like that as she gave her all to each home she was sent too. Being an orphan she was use to never having a family. Only as she was told it would be a wolf she would be caring for this time she was a little shocked, though she wasn't going to let it stop her.

Making her way through the city towards his house she knew she had be the best she could for she didn't want to lose this job as well. She had once been fired for being overly friendly. She hadn't understood what that meant and still didn't to this day. As she came to the door she calmed herself and took a deep breathe before ringing the door bell.

The wolf sat there, his ears going upright when he heard the doorbell ring. Getting up, he tried to push down his fur on his fluffy chest as best he could. Standing before the door, he slowly pulled it open. Looking at the girl, he stood there speechless for a second. Blinking and shaking his head, he pulled himself out of his little reverie.

"Ah, a human girl. I would've thought they'd send a wolf female. Plus, you're kinda flat chested, and not very maid-looking..." Rio just didn't tell her that he found her incredibly cute from first glance, and seeing such a cute human girl is what really caught him off guard.

"Where are my manners. Come in, come in." The wolf says, letting her in his home and closing the door. "My name is Rio." The wolf tells her, his tail swaying happily, although her job would require her to call him 'Master Rio'.

As the door was opened she was shocked at how big he was. Only as she heard what he said her heart dropped a little. "I'm sorry if I'm not to your liking I was the only one available at the time I'm sure the company will switch me out if it would better suit your purposes" she said as she bowed towards him as she remembered her training. Only the part of her being flat chested made her uneasy as she was ushered into the house. "Yes master Rio I'm Rin" she said to him as the maid were bought from the orphanage and raised to be simple and nothing more than a tool to be used and thrown out.

The wolf loomed over her, his huge, powerful form before her in just his jeans. Once the door was closed, his attention was on her. His eyes looked over her, her small, petite body was rather attractive, for a human. He didn't seem terribly bothered by her appearance one way or another, though.

"Absolutely not. You'll do just perfectly fine. Rio and Rin, though, interesting." He says happily. "Could we get started now? The kitchen is just down the hall. If you would be so kind as to make dinner, I'd greatly apprecaite it."

As Rin heard that he wouldn't be sending her back she gave another bow. "thank you sir" she said just as she was told to start right away she put her bags down at the door and pulled her hair up into a messy bun as she knew she was to cook. "Is there anything you would like Master Rio?" she asked him as she worked on her hair. The teal green to her hair always brought out the green in her eyes, as they looked right up to him not letting his size get to her. She was going to do her best on this no matter what happened. "I'm good at cooking all types of food so just tell me and it'll be done and if you like to just make a list of certain things you don't want in your food and I'll make sure they won't get in there" she stated as she finished her hair and waited for his answer before she went right to the kitchen starting on the meal. She was quick and quiet not a single word out of her unless he asked something from her. She needed the bare minimal when it came to things so talking wasn't a need to her anymore. She was to work and not be a bother.

Something told him that she got sent back to the company often. She seemed too happy just not to be sent back for something so trivial. As the girl pulls her hair up into a messy bun, he noticed that she looked much cuter with it down, but he wasn't about to say that to a human girl.

"I think I'd like something Italian tonight. As for the rest of the time, I'll come up with some sort of a list for things that you can cook, and then you can choose freely from the list." Rio told her, following her into the kitchen. Taking a seat to watch her, he looked over at her as she spoke. "Well, I don't think there's anything that I won't like. Well, maybe carrots. And peas." The wolf said happily. It was quite apparent that he liked her so far. All she had to do was keep that up and she'd be just fine.

Hearing that he was willing to come up with a list of what to cook for her she gave a bright smile. "Thank you it would help greatly. If you want anything specific if allowed you could just call the house and tell me" she said to him as she would from now on strive to have the dinner ready and hot at the table when he came in. She listened as she pulled out the things she would need. She pulled out some chicken breasts she saw as she pulled out the pan and olive oil she knew it would be good if she made him some baked chicken as she also pulled out some angel hair pasta starting the water to get it boiling. She kept moving quickly as she put the right herbs into everything even making a nice sauce to pour over it. She finished making it all putting it on a plate and pouring the sauce over. "I hope you like it" she said as it had only taken her a half hour to get it fully finished for him though usually she would cook something for a good hour to get the flavors right.

The wolf sits there, watching her work. Putting his chin on his palm, he waits patiently. All the while, his eyes almost close a few times, tired from work. Although, when the kitchen starts to fill with the scents of dinner, his stomach growls so loudly that it wakes even him up. When she sets the dinner in front of him, his ears go up.

"Well, this is a welcome surprise." Rio says, looking down at the food set before him. It was far beyond any cooking skill that he could've accomplished. What took her a half hour to make took him a matter of minutes to devour. Not really un-mannerly, just simply quickly. Having finished, the wolf let out a deep, long, satisfied sigh, patting his flat stomach.

"That was heaven."

As Rin watched him eat it all so quickly she was truly shocked by that. She really didn't think he would want that much yet it seemed she need to make an adjustment on how much she cooked. "Are you full or would you like a dessert?" she asked him as she was getting everything cleaned up for the moment as she wasn't going to let them sit there over-night. In truth she was already making notes on what truly needed to be cleaned she was going to be cleaning through the night so she was pretty happy to at least get things going. "Is there anything you would like for the morning meal?" she asked him. "As well what time would you like it served?" she asked him as she was prepared to truly do all she had for this home.
