The League of Righteousness had succeeded mightily today. A great alien evil had been repelled, and now the world was safe once again. Citizens could rest easy in their beds, safe in the knowledge that their heroes had risen to the challenge and won the day once more. Among those heroes was a relative newcomer, known for her near invincibility, bravery, and sheer pluck. Righteous Girl even looked every bit the super-heroine. Flowing blonde hair, gorgeous blue eyes, a body built to sheer perfection. Every inch of her looked desirable, and some of the heroes had joked that she had super-pheromones in addition to everything else. Righteous Girl herself would simply smile a beautiful smile and wink coyly at whomever complimented her, then move along as though this were normal.
Now the heroine rested in her preferred place of relaxation: City Park. The park wasn't particularly impressive, and wasn't where most people would expect a heroine to relax. Yet Righteous Girl preferred it, had since she was a little girl. For in actuality, Righteous Girl was a simple American girl known as Jessica. She went to college, studying education in the hopes of giving back to her community, and had come from the perfect little farming community. Boys loved her, and she'd had no shortage of dates, but none who she felt comfortable enough sleeping with. After all, Righteous Girl had enough strength to crush most mortals.
Sighing, she laid her head back, letting the blonde strands fall behind her. She had just started to close her eyes when Jessica heard something. Perking up, she saw the dog. It looked wounded, limping and ugly. Yet immediately the heroine felt drawn to it. Smiling, she walked over, talking sweetly, her voice light. Soon enough, the pooch would be in her arms, and soon after that, it would be in the apartment of the heroine.
Jessica would shed her skin-tight uniform, instead entering her shower and washing away alien blood and filth. She'd laid down water and food for the dog, and figured that everything would be fine. It was time to relax, and what better way to do that then having a nice hot shower followed by a cuddle with an animal?
