war. war never changes and nither do the battosai, the man slayers. men who have inhuman skill with wepons, be it gun or sword. one battosai known as the chain devil, the soul taker, and many other titles was the greatest of the battosai. many fell in attepts to defeat him even other battosai. none suceeded. but when the meiji era started. the battle bettween the shogun and the emporer had ended, and with it the battosai as heros of battle. those who do not change are doomed to be forgotten and one by one the battosais where either dead, a crime lord's body guard or in the maji goverment. the chain devil was never heard from though a letter said he would undo everything the meiji era had done and make them pay for their sins. that was in the first year of the meiji era. ten years have passed and still nothing has happened, everyone has forgotten the letter. when a warrior arrived in tokyo in the middle of the night wondering the streets who is this warrior and what his purpose? only time will tell.
