Jamie sighed as she reclined back in her chair, tapping her fingers on the armrest. She had just recently been placed of the zoo, and everything was running smoothly, so far. The only thing is, a new exhibit was supposed to have come in the other day, and has yet to arrive. The zoo that had been in possession of him last had gone under. Her freind had worked there, and she was coming along with a few of the other exhibits as well.
She had always loved animals, everything except bats anyways... She was a vet as well, but preferred to be around animals when they were happy and healthy already, and liked to keep them that way. She had to admit though, she wasn't sure about one in particular... She had heard of them of course, but never actually encountered a sentient plant creature. It could understand, but not speak human language, and was covered with a soft, grass like lining, a male specimen.
Jamie was starteled out of her thoughts when the phone rang, reaching forward, picking it up. "Yes? Jamie speaking... Trish? Oh good, you're finally here?" She asked, glad to hear from her freind finally. " Half an hour out? Good, good. Bring them around through the back, we'll be ready to get them settled in." She said, grabbing the walkie-talkie. "Right, i'll see you then." She said, hanging up before calling the main handlers, making sure they'd be there, and head out, checking the cages.
