Arlia gazed out the window of the carriage that was carrying her to her fate. A wedding to align her Farlyyn with their kingdom, a wedding to someone she'd never known. But then again this was her duty..to the kingdom she loved. And she would do it with a smile. Her regal dress was icy blue, while her red tresses were coiled up elegantly atop her head, making her the picture of a royal lady.

"Now the first son is the kind and fair one girl so be glad you're my first daughter. Else you'd be risking your chances with the younger..barbarian-like son..." the King Farin spoke to his daughter with all seriousness and was dismayed to see the smirk on her features. "Either you're not listening or your fool head is getting the better of you." He sighed and sank back into the cushions of the carriage, showing his disappointment with silence.

Arlia placed a kiss upon the cheek of her father. "I know what is right father dearest." she grinned at him with a light in her emerald eyes. "And look we approach!" she expressed as she slid to the other side of the carriage to look upon the castle she would soon be calling home. Everything was laid out for her arrival..and she had mixed emotions about this. A kingdom such as theirs shouldn't have gone to so much trouble..it made them look desperate, but at the same time she was pleased to see what had been done for her. The carriage halted in front of the castle and she waited for her announcement. As her manservant made the announcement he extended his hand to help her down from the carriage, and Arlia took the time to gaze at the men before her. Keeping her expression from revealing her true feelings about the sight that met her eyes.

"Greetings Your Majesties" she said sweetly. Every bit the picture of manner and grace.

"We meet again" Farin boomed, striding past his daughter to clasp the hand of the other man. He was always more forward with his introductions, but never overstepped true protocol.
