Alex had a long morning so far. He had the dreams again. The ones that he nearly believed were reality. And they were always focused on that one girl. The one in white that just seemed to always just look at him from afar with a cold expression, as if she never expected him to get close to her. Yet he still tried to close the distance and ever time he never made it. He would always awaken just as he was about to make any kind of progress.
He blamed these dreams on the energy that flowed throughout his form. The energy that made him better than all of his peers. It made him stronger, faster, smarter, but most of all it allowed him to sense those with ill intent. There had been countless times where he could feel this intense feeling about someone, that he had to stop them, had to save them from themselves. It was not usual that it was ever all encompassing and it was not often that he felt it on a completely intense scale but it was always there, especially in crowds. He chalked up the small feeling he got every now and then to people just wishing bad things unto others or having a fight with someone or disliking someone else. He let these go since they usually would work themselves out in the end. Alex knew that sometimes ill intent was temporary.
He got down the stairs heading to the train platform, he was already starting to feel a bit of the stir of the energy in the air. It was a little unsettling but he was tired from having to wake up early to head out to the library where he worked. He paid it no mind at first. There was no need to, or so he thought.
He ran his hand through his black hair and down his neck as he let out a great yawn. A nap was going to be in order, after he got through work today. However with the stirrings that were occurring in his body that he did not understand just yet. It did not seem like he was going to get that nap.
The train came and opened its doors. He stepped inside as the feeling of ill intent started to rise in his body. He could feel that this one was not going to stay at a certain level. It was just going to keep escalating. He looked back as the doors shut behind him. He was going to need to find the source of this feeling. It was the only way he was going to be able to stop anything from happening.
