Serine felt water splashed on her face and her eyes fluttered open. She was in a dimly lit room with no windows and the door was heavy, a large padlock on it that would keep her inside. She had no clue what was happening though, she remembered being attacked by raiders and then nothing, darkness, had she been captured? What would be done to her next?
While these questions were running around in her head she stood up but quickly fell back down, her legs weak and they buckled underneath even her light weight. She looked around, her eyes adjusting to the dark and then she heard it, cheering, some kind of voice coming loudly through the halls, "1000, 1250, 1500, 2000, sold!" and she panicked, she knew where she was now, she was in the black market, she was at the auction house...
She sat in silence for awhile until a light flooded the room from the now opened door and in a moment of blindness she felt herself become yanked up on her feet. She was dragged to the stage and thrown down, her clothes being ripped off of her so her body was revealed to the crowd, she tried to cover herself out of embarrassment of the leering eyes upon her, men and women from wealthy backgrounds inspecting her gorgeous body and that it was, she was a jewel among women and few rivaled her in beauty, though the crowd had women equally as beautiful amongst it, the nobles.
Her porcelain skin stood out from the back backdrop behind her, her blond flowing hair and substantial bust pulling together the mature sexiness that she had always possessed and she wanted to cry when she heard the man at the podium style furniture begin to describe her. Then she heard the bidding, a very fat man and a skinny but scary looking man bidding on her, obviously both rich because they had the attire and bodyguards to signify their status. "I hear 1000 gold, 2000, oh 4000 from the man on the left, 5000, 6000.... It went on to 12000 a huge sum of money for that time and they stopped, the fat pig like man the one at the head of the bid and she shuddered wondering if he would win, if this surge of helplessness would end at his hands... No... She didn't want this, she didn't want to be a slave, especially not to a man, not to that man... She was panic struck and it showed on her face.
