It started as just another late night. Another day, another dollar. Elle’s shoes clicked across the dark pavement as she came to her car. Working the night shift at the café wasn’t pleasant work, but it brought in the money needed, especially when the customers showed their “appreciation” for her. Normally, she was friendly with just the customers, but kept to herself, not wanting to draw attention to herself, though attention tended to find her. She was 5’5” with a plate of long dark hair and wide dark eyes to match thanks to her Latino blood from her mother… not to mention her plentiful breasts and voluptuous ass, also complements of mother.
Coming to her beater car, she climbed in the front seat and started the engine, the car just barely grumbled to life and she pulled it out into the street. Home was about twenty minutes away on the other side of town and she took the old Highway to get there. At this time of night, the highway was barren of other drivers and against the dark sky; the trees and bushes were even darker, illuminated by only the sliver moon and stars. It was still a pretty sight; she had to admit, as she leaned forward in her seat to get a better view of the night sky.
Suddenly, a flicker of movement caught her attention as a deer skidded across the road. In her panic, she slammed on the breaks and narrowly missed the deer, but ran into a deep pot hole instead.
“Crap,” she muttered to herself as she pulled herself over. Getting out of the car, she looked down at the driver side front tire, seeing the flat. Perfect. Sighing, she straightened up and reached into her car for her cell phone. Naturally, there were no bars out here. Perfect again. Sighing exasperatedly, she stared back and forth on the dark highway. On the one hand, she could probably walk home from here… she’d be back late, but the chances of someone passing her here on the highway weren’t great at all. Making up her mind, she reached into her car to collect her things so she could begin her walk back home.
