Okay, I'm never really good at these, I always write too much or too little, but damn I'm addicted to roleplaying.
Okay, kinks listed here.
Mostly I'd like to RP over IMs, PMs are okay, boards are okay. I tend to forget about PMs and boards though. Also, I do have a life and college, which can get kind of hectic at times. If I won't be able to reply for a day or two, I'll try to tell my partner.
Firstly, I don't care about post lengths. I really don't. I want quality over quantity. I'm sorry, if you can't use proper spelling and punctuation, then it probably won't work out. Typos are fine, we all make them.
Secondly, please don't tell me what type of character to play, or godmode her actions. I have one very favorite character I love to play, and I'll most likely be using her a lot. That's just how I roll. I can describe her, or show you actual art I have of her.
Thirdly, and this is... one of the most important things despite it not being first. I like odd characters. I don't want your slim, blonde-haired elves, thanks. Now, I don't mind some archetypes - you know, the nerdy guy with glasses, the big lunky muscle-head - but mostly these aren't going to get my motor running. Break some molds. Really unique characters are what I'm most interested in. I don't give a flip if your character is a vampire or a werewolf, as long as a) it's not the Twilight kind and b) it's interesting or original in some way. Now, while I'll never tell my partner what type of character to play (well, y'know, except in the case of fandom, but that's different), here are some things I love:
- Reptile characters
- Manly (hairy) men
- Chubby men (paunches, beer bellies, spare tires = all okay with me!)
- Desperately nerdy men (think Doctor Venture from Venture Brothers)
- Sleazebags (good-natured or not, think Nick from L4D2 or Steve Buscemi in literally any movie he's ever been in)
- Rockabillies/greasers
- Older men (<333333 huge turn on for me, anywhere from 30-60, and by 60, I don't mean old, wrinkly grandpas, but like... older men who've taken care of themselves, if this makes any sense)
And the list sort of goes on and on but this is what I'm most interested in right now, in no particular order.
As for female characters, if I'm coaxed into a f x f, like I said, I don't like telling you what you play 'cause I don't want anyone to do that to me, but honestly, I'd really love to play a sort of innocent, good girl (who doesn't know she's bi or whatever) who gets sort of... seduced by an older butch woman (again, 30-60 age range is fine by me) or something like that. I might can be coaxed into playing the older woman, MAYBE, because I do have a good character for that role, but only if you don't mind gruff, almost mannish older women (mannish more in personality than looks, trust me). Yes, I'm perfectly fine with futanari/dick girls.
With all of that said, I might play mostly the innocent, good-girl, nerdy type, but that doesn't mean that I'll always play someone who is submissive. I've found that people have their dominant and submissive moments, and that no one can be classified as just one or the other, not really.
I don't like really normal settings at all (except in some rare circumstances). I like pretty much anything with some fantasy in it. I'm really really into taking "monsters" (satyrs, nagas, goblins, orcs, trolls, that sort of thing) and putting them into completely different settings, like, not just medieval, but a pirate setting, or even a modern, normal-day setting (with it not being odd or anything, it would be like the monsters are completely normal); or taking someone from one time period and placing them in another.
Also, I like drama. I don't want to. But I do. I love soap opera drama. Forgive me for this. So, to be perfectly blunt, I don't mind relationships that start off abusive, as long as they eventually get nice and romantic. Yeah.
Now I'll go ahead and put up a list of ideas. I also might post a small list of fandoms I'd love to do but doubt anyone will do with me. At the very least, you can use that fandom list to see what kind of characters I like?
The original plots are listed in the order I'd like to do them in. The fandom list is just set up without any real order.
The Loan Shark
Basically, my character takes a loan out, and when the time comes to repay, is unable to do so. Instead of getting angry, the loan shark decides to take advantage of the situation. This doesn't have to mean sex right away (although it can). Maybe he only wants a maid or something for a while, but things get out of control.
The Thief
A thief creeps into a house he's been casing for weeks, only to find the owner is still in. Instead of killing the thief, the owner makes him an offer he can't refuse - the house still belongs to her estranged husband, whom she's trying to divorce. She wants the thief to come back on designated nights and steal a few things here and there, making him very rich in the process, without any cons. Of course, something starts to build up between the thief and the wife...
The Soldier
Or warrior, or whatever. For whatever reason, your warrior/soldier/something like that character has been through enough shit that they need a nurse (but not in any weird way, just to do small tasks like cook, clean). Perhaps your character has run off lots of nurses for some reason (just for fun, because your character is kind of an asshole, whatever, it's just a thought), and my character is the first one to not take your bullshit. For those curious, I love (gruff older guys with) shaky hands, and I won't flinch if your character needs the nurse because he has a limb/s missing, however, I don't want to do anything weird with said missing limbs or wounds or whatever.
Beauty and the Beast
Always a classic plot. Beautiful girl, creature or guy deemed ugly by society, creature or guy kidnaps beautiful girl, beautiful girl falls in love with him. No changing into princes for me, thanks.
Stockholm Syndrome
I don't really have a clear plot for this, but it's just basic stalker kidnapper x kidnapped.
The Blind Date
Simply put, our characters are set up to go on a blind date with one another, and they are not at all what the other was expecting. Potentially bad at first, once they get to know one another, they find themselves becoming attracted to one another.
I will add more as I think of them.
As for fandoms? Like I said, I don't expect anyone to play them with me, but whatever. Bold is the character I play, underlined are the characters I like and want you to play, from greatest desired to least desired (but still desired none the less). I will consider OC x OC instead of OC x cannon character (if you have an interesting OC) for most of these, except for the very last one.
Mass Effect (1 or 2, beaten both)
Commander Noelle Shepard ::: Wrex, Grunt, Joker, Mordin, Zaeed, Garrus
Fallout (3, beaten)
Important note: No, I don't consider an attraction to ghouls necrophilia. If you have a problem with this, ignore it.
Female "good karma" Vaultie ::: Charon, Gob, Desmond, Butch
(New Vegas, almost beaten, I actually have my own casino setting for a NV RP)
Female "good karma" courier or lounge singer ::: Raul, The King, Benny
(Dead Money DLC, beaten)
Female "good karma" courier or lounge singer ::: Dean Domino, God
Venture Brothers (No, I'm not joking.)
Female super hero, villain, or scientist ::: Dr. Thaddeus 'Rusty' Venture, Dr. Orpheus, The Monarch, Brock Samson
*cough* Yes. I'm an odd little fangirl duck.
So, er, this is gotten long enough... thanks for reading? Or not. Ahahaha. *awkward laughter*
