"Ooh, I love it!"
Those were the words most often heard from Ariadne Richardson. As with many other times, her parents had gotten her the latest and greatest thing to have. This time, it was the touch-screen flatscreen television she'd been begging for, equipped with Internet and all the tv channels she could dream of. The pretty little red head was standing in her room in excitement as she spotted it. She'd just come home from school to discover the new gadget mounted on her wall.
Behind her, her dad appeared in the door. "Do you like it?" he asked, with a smile on his face.
"Yes! I love it!" Ariadne squealed as she wrapped her dad in a hug. The sixteen-year-old was spoiled, to say the least. This wasn't the first time she's gotten something she'd asked for. In fact, this happened with nearly everything she asked for, not only at home, but also at school. The only person who didn't give her what she wanted was her sister.
"Now get out," Ariadne said. She pushed her dad out of her room. "Love you," she said as she shut her door, then plopped down on the beanbag in the middle of her room to play with her new tv.
