The wind was blowing slightly harder today than most days, it was unnatural. Himeko looked up at the sky and shivered slightly. 'But I need food and water to last me till next week...' She thought. Sighing heavily she made sure to grab her cloak before leaving her home. As the cold air hit her making her long pointy ears twitch slightly she pulled her cloak more close to her body. She continued to make her way deeper into the forest and then spotting a deer nearby she got into a tree so as to hide herself from the deers sight. Grabbing an arrow out of her quiver she then slowly aimed for the deers shoulder so that it wouldn't run away. She locked her eyes on her target and pulled the arrow back and then aimed her arrow to where her eyes were locked on and then slowly let go of it and watched it hit IRS target dead on. Finally she'll have some food meat tonight for dinner. She jumped out of the tree and grabbed another arrow quickly and then aimed for the head, then letting go to finish the job. With meat that would last a week if used sparingly all she needed was some fruit, vegetables, and water then she'd be set for this week. She figured she'd take the kill home for now so she wouldn't have too much to do at once.
She left the meat at her home and headed out to get the rest of her provisions before she had to skin and sepperait the deer. She went from tree to tree in search of fresh fruit. She had found some nice red apples that looked just perfect so she put some in her basket before jumping down from the tree to check the bushes to see if there was some ripe berries around, she managed to find some at last and picked enough for her. She knew where the river was so getting good water wouldn't be to hard for her. She had her fishing pole in her normal spot by the river, since it was just her out here she didn't need to take it home with her all the time. Sitting her basket down she used the end of her pole to dig up some worms to use as bait and got lucky. Adding the bait to the hook she then cast her line out and then sat it down in its makeshift holder so she could fill her buckets up with water. She heard a noise in the distant but thought nothing of it, thinking it was just a mere animal, she then sat the buckets now filled with water down and sat down by her fishing pole. Not too much longer she saw her pole was being tugged on a bit and knew she had a bite! She then reeled it in and noticed it was a nice big fish, perfect for tonights dinner. She then re baited her hook and casted it back out into the water to try and get another. The wind had started to finally die down some now, which made her happy. She yawned slightly and decided to take a little nap. It was so peaceful here, that's why she loved it so much. There were no loud vehicles here, no smog, and no polluting humans here. The perfect place to be. Closing her eyes she heard the noice once again before drifting off to sleep, unaware of what was to happen soon to her...
