Jason ran a hand through the black fur on top of his head as he walked out of the orientation and made his way to the Coed Dorms the only Dorm he could afford. He didn't know who his Dorm mate would be but he didn't mind he reached his door and opened it.

Melanie had arrived at the dorm a little before Jason had come around, and she was in the middle of putting her things away. The young doe was looking forward to school and all, though she was still wondering what sort of roommate she'd end up with. Being that the dorms were co-ed, there was the chance she'd end up with a guy. Either way, she just hoped they'd get along somehow. She turned her head as she heard the door being pushed open. Before her eyes, her roommate had stepped in, a young wolf a bit taller than her. He seemed a little intimidating to her, though that was probably with the whole predator/prey thing. Maybe he wouldn't be so bad. After organizing the rest of her clothes in the drawers she turned to him, giving a little smile. "Oh...h-hello. It looks like we'll be roommates this year. Um, my name is Melanie." It was obvious that she was a bit nervous, but she was hoping to get over that with him.

Jason smiled at her trying to be friendly, "Hi I'm Jason. Looks that way." he chuckled. He had only a two bags of clothes and a few boxes in his car he set his bag on his bed and opened it taking out a few posters one was of a heavy metal band and the second was a sexy wolf in a two piece swim suit that seemed to small for her large breasts. "I'm just hoping it more fun than the Orientation." he said not sure he should leave the poster of the girl up. His eyes did travel over Melanie for a quick moment before he went to put his clothes away when he came to one of his shirts which had a Deer skull on he sighed, "And that this won't be awkward." he muttered.

"Well, it's nice to meet you Jason." Even if he did look a little scary, he didn't seem like a bad person. She was half-expecting him to snap at her or something, but she didn't think she'd have to worry so much about that. She noticed the posters he had put up, a little surprised with them. She didn't feel like saying anything about them, but it would take some time for her to get used to them. While she didn't catch him looking over her, he would note that she had a very respectable figure. She was no model, but she was just as good. "Um...awkward? How so...?" She hadn't noticed his shirt just yet.

Nothing" Jason said quickly stuffing the shirt in the back of his dresser. "So what are you studying?" he asked shifting subjects quickly. He had noticed her pleasant form he knew that he also had a good build tall chisled coupled with tight shirts and short black fur he had girls looking at him.

While she was a little curious, Melanie decided to let it go. "Ah, I'm hoping to maybe become a teacher someday. I'm not sure what subject though. What about you?" Her form was clearly visible with the clothes she wore: a black tanktop and tight blue jeans. She couldn't ignore his impressive form. She thought that he might be an athlete of some sort.

"I'm taking the usaul stuff nothing fancy I also plan to have a lot of...fun and play ball." he said as he finished putting away the last of his clothes in his first bag. "I gotta go grab more of stuff from my car." he said before leaving the room he returned quickly having parked at the coed dorms before the Orientation. He had his bag on his shoulder and his two boxes. He started to unpack pctures of family hoping she didn't look to close at the shirt he was wearing in them.

"Ah, well hopefully you'll think of something along the way." she said. She was a little curious about that pause of his. Fun? Was he the type to go out partying and causing trouble? She sure hoped not. What if she got dragged into that sort of thing? She watched as he left to go back to his car, but he arrived shortly after. "Wow, you really had a lot of stuff brought here didn't you?" She noticed some of the pictures he had brought along, though she was just far enough not to notice the shirt just yet. "Oh! Is that your family?" she asked.

Jason nodded, "Mom and my little sister." he said as he put the rest of his clothes away. He unpacked his laptop and set it on his desk tooth brush and tooth paste followed. It concluded with a stack of Heavy metal cd's and radio with cd player lastly a few band shirts he put them up along side the posters.

"That's a nice thing to have around." she said. She sat back on her bed, mainly watching as he put away the rest of his stuff in the room. She noted the CDs and the shirts that he had, finding that they obviously didn't listen to the same kind of music. It didn't matter too much. At least he was a nice person. "You really like music huh? Are you in a band or something?"

"My dad was he taught me this shirt was from the first concert we went to an this one was from the one I went to with my friends after graduation. He was good guy." he said as he smiling as he pointed out the the shirts one had the name Black Sabbath on it and the other read Three Inches of Blood. "What about your family?" he asked.

She had indeed heard of those bands, but she obviously didn't listen to them. She didn't really listen to much music in the first place. "Hmm, well my mom still has it a little hard watching over my younger siblings, and my dad is usually out late from work. I was able to escape somehow." she said with a little giggle.

"Ah Jail break alright." Jason chuckled as he searched his other box bed sheets, stack of Manga and case of computer games mostly RTS games, "How many siblings?" he asked.

She was rather surprised to see just how much he had packed. Sure, she had a whole bunch of clothes and some music and books, but the rest of the stuff was mainly school-related. "I have two younger brothers, one in middle school and the other in elementary school. My younger sister is also in elementary school."

"Not really. I was just planning to get settled in. I was thinking of taking a little trip around the campus. Maybe you'd like to join me? I wouldn't mind a little company."

"Sounds like a plan then. Let's go." After they had both left the room, she closed the door behind them and they were off onto the main campus. They could see many other students walking around, getting acquainted with everythng. "This really is a big campus. I just hope I don't have classes on different sides."

"More than likely." Jason replied as he waved a couple of hot girls that waved back while sizing him up, "More likely you'll be running across campus I suggest comfortable clothes. No mini skirts." he said smiling at a wolf girl who looked alot like the one on his poster.

"I don't even have any mini skirts." She said with a little chuckle. "It will be fine though. A little jog will do me good. She couldn't help but notice how he would be waving at a good deal of the girls they passed, along with the wolf girl that did have some resemblance to the one in his poster. "Do you know them from before?" she asked. Maybe they had gone to the same school before.

"Hmm...kind of a playboy I guess?" she thought to herself. They certainly had been running into a lot of girls lately. A little thought ran through her mind. If he really was planning to get friendly with all these girls, there were sure to be some problems, but only if he went overboard. Still, she figured he should at least focus on one girl. "I see. I guess it's not a bad idea to try and make friends."

"Yeah see that the real thing about college make friends, try new things have a bit fun and enjoy yourself." said Jason puting his arm around her shoulders good naturedly. "I'm sure you'll find a nice guy that will sweep you off your feet." he said as his arm fell away. A few guys were making there way past with two large ice chests that had no lid and you could clearly see the beers, "Just not a stupid drunk one." he added in a whisper.

"Right. I don't think most of my old friends are here either, so I figure I just have to start fresh. It's a big campus, so there has to be a good handful of people I can meet. She didn't think much about him placing his hand around her shoulder. She was already feeling like he was her first new friend at this school, even if they had some difference in interests. She did notice the guys with the drinks, and didn't want to stare for too long. "Yeah, it's just not charming having a guy who can barely keep himself upright."
