This is your wedding gathering. You should be happy, giddy, filled with joy. Please. Save that for someone who wanted to actually get married in the first place. This particular female was in a sticky situation to say the very least, smiles all around for the congratulations she was receiving for recently being married to the Prince of Windsor. She was already a princess, so she just found this to be completely unnecessary, but complaining out loud would be absolutely unladylike. Her mother had certainly not put her through etiquette to have her screw it up being unhappy at her own wedding, or her own wedding ball for that matter. The months before had been an absolute blur to her, as everyone had been running around to set this up and make sure this special day was special for everyone but the actual bride and groom.
It was a shame how she saw that throughout the day, the female found herself mildly uninterested in the things happening around her. The nineteen year old getting married to someone she wasn't in love with wasn't even the problem, but that could have easily been seen as one to her mother. " Delphine, you don't have to be in love to get married. " Of course she didn't, and with her mother saying that, several chamber maids came to strap her into her dress, with her mother assisting to push her breasts up within their confines. The young female looked beautiful in her dress, at least she could admit that much, the cream and white wedding gown holding on to her upper half only to flow just at the waist in pools of soft white fabric. The sleeves draping off her shoulders and exposing her sun kissed collar bones, her hands were covered rightfully by the sleeves that draped down as well, cream colored ribbons wrapping around her lower torso and tied behind her, only to have the ending strands disappear among the rest of the fabric.
Honey colored eyes blinking softly as she glanced around for a moment in an attempt to find her husband, or newly gained child so to speak. She had come to terms with the fact that she was going to have to take care of him, and it almost made the female sink deeper into the blush exterior of the seat. However catching sight of the half glaring eyes of her mother, the female straightened her posture before turning her head lightly to notice her husband emerge beside her. Oh joy. " Both of you look just lovely together. " You're lying, the woman on his side of the family speaking about the two of them as they moved together, she herself occasionally breaking away from Andrew only to find herself somehow connected to him again. This event had turned into a social gathering faster than she would have liked, plenty of people from neighboring royal families and extended family here to wish congratulations to the new couple. Delphine was just absolutely ready for this to all be over with, the female breathing out a silent sigh as she again found herself separated from her husband. Thank Heaven.
Delphine LeVoure was the daughter of two equally wealthy parts of the royal family, obviously wealthy enough to be deemed as a princess. The young woman however wasn't entirely at the beauty level of what one considered a princess. More like the pauper, dark brown hair that pooled in curls that were occasionally on the unruly side. Bright eyes, sure, but they were nothing to oggle about as even if they were honey colored, they were still brown. Yes, Delphine was nothing extraordinary to look at. .But neither was her newly granted husband. . Was that why they had been married together?
