The day had come that Eric had feared. He knew it would happen but he thought that he would of had more time to acquire the funds but they wanted their money and would get it anyway. They had already come and taken his daughters away. He had a promise to hold up to and as much as it sickened him, it had to be done.
He was sick that his son and best friend had paid off the debt and had already taken his 2 other daughters but a deal was a deal and it would only be worse if he didn't live up to his word. It was bad enough his wife left him when the debt had happened and he wanted to try and fix it for the kids since they had stuck around but it only had gotten worse.
2 years had passed and now it was his youngest daughter's 16th birthday and per the deal she was to be handed over when she turned sixteen if He could not make the funds that were due to the socieity. They had given ample time but over the vast years of gambling money away and racking up the debt there was little hope he'd be able to do it.
