“God it’s hot” She said spat out whatever moisture her body had left. The sun couldn’t go down quicker for her. The sand she kicked up with her boots weren’t much help either as she blew away at the derbris. Wiping the sweat from her brow she spotted a junction of sharp” Shade!’ She said alerting her companion. Running towards the mouth of the desolate valley the rocks were huge boulders that would provide them shelter until they next move. She couldn’t remember the world being any different, always battling the sun and sands. There were very few settlements in the world. The planet was disconnected from it’s self. Small tribes were the cities of this plane now, but at least the sky was still remained a true blue. She never knew the world to be any different. Her and her furred companion had always been together. They wanted to seek out the Oasis, a city of life and legend.
When she hit the shade she slumped down against the rock. “Finally” digging into her sack she pulled out a small canteen of water and drank from. She had to remind herself to not drink it all until they reached the next source of available water. “Mmm, this shade feel so good, huh?” her eyes looking up at her furred companion. He was the only furry she knew and the only one she trusted. Looking over head the canyon was empty, not that she expected to run into a village here, but there was no other sign of life here besides them. “Hopefully we can find a water source around here. “She said before pushing herself off the rock. Amelia ventured deeper in to he canyon, nothing but huge rocks and sand awaited her until she heard the rushing of water. “Ya hear that?” Excitement running through she jumped over a rock like antelope, searching for the source she fell right into a small spring. “AH!” With a splash she went head first into the small, but deep hollow that held muddy water. “Oh my god!” She began to splash around in it, like a young virgin.
