with her cloak pulled tightly around her body Clover walked through the dark forest quickly. she was supposed to be at her grandmother's house hours ago, but she'd gotten lost. with her slim form hidden under the cloak Clover's green eyes tried to pierce the darkness but with no luck. when her long brown hair flew into her face she tucked the hair behind her ear and continued on. "i knew i should have gone to the left," she scolded herself "maybe i should try going back".

when she turned to go back she was stopped by a group of three men, all of them smiling at her. taking a step back to not be so close to all of them Clover looked over the men. all of them were so pale and were dressed in leggings and dress shirts under vests. "i'm sorry sir, i must have gotten lost on my way to my grandmother's house" Clover tried to explain to them. "grandmother's don't taste as good as young grand-daughters" the leading man spoke. alittle turned off by the man's strange comment Clover tried to smile "i-i'm sure that's true," looking around she heard something wrestle in the trees "if you'll excuse me i'll be on my way".

trying to step around the men the one to the right in the back stepped infront of her while the other's surrounded her. "please excuse me" her voice was shaking as she turned in circles, seeing the same look on all the men's faces; they were going to hurt her. trying to make a break for it in a small opening Clover was caught by two of the men's hands while the third forced her back between the three of them. screaming as they all grabed her Clover tried to fight them off, but her hands were quickly pinned behind her back while one of them ripped the cloak form her body. "Somebody please help me!" she screamed between begging the men not to rape her. "don't worry sweet heart," one of the men said as he flashed his sharp fangs "it wont hurt very long". lunging forward the vampire bit into her exposed neck as she screamed.

A large animal like figure lunge out of the bushes as it jumped onto a near by tree just right of the group and jump off it's trunk as it jumped toward them, the figure landed right next to the man who had sank his fangs into the neck and with quick motion the creature grabed the man head and quickly throwing the man away from the girl and into a half dead tree as he broke through it and hitting another tree behind it. The other two men let go of their captive and back away as they hiss at the opposing figure who had intrerupted their dinner, the girl look up to see who her savior was but passed out from the intense pain from the man's bite as she could hear the men screams in the background. After the three men were now dead, their corpes laying on the ground with their heads torn off from their bodies. The light from the moon shine down on the figure revealing it as a male werewolf, he look down to the human girl as he pick her up from the ground holding her close to his chest. "I better take her with me, these vampires might have some friends near by" the wolf said as he sprinted into the forest.

feeling her body being lifted, Clover tried to raise her hand to push him away, but she couldn't even open her eyes. "where...?" she couldn't even get all her words out, her mouth felt dry and lax, but thankfully it was still closed and not drooling. she wanted to know where she was going, but anywhere was better then the situation she was in before he'd saved her. though was safe really the best word to use? it was possible for one evil to save her from another evil.

with her head laying against his chest she could hear his heartbeat and feel how warm his body was compared to her blood loss face. weakly turning her slightly pale body towards him she wanted to be closer to the warmth, evil couldn't feel this warm. with the speed that the were-wolf was using Clover was glad he was holding onto her or else she would have been tossed and jostled around. though her ride didn't seem to last very long.

slowly letting herself open her eyes again she looked up at the wolf as he paced her down on a fur lined bed. the bed felt nice, but she wanted to raise her hand up to close the front of her dress. in the vampire's attempt to get at her neck better he'd ripped open the front of her dress, which was now revealing one of her shoulders and one of her round breasts. finally getting her hand up high enough she was able to pull her torn dress over her breast atleast.

"Now don't move, I'll be right back and by the way my name is Randon" said the wolf known as Randon as he moved to a table and started to make something in two bowls, Randon soon return with two small bowls. "Drink this, it will help regain some blood" said Randon as he handed one of bowls to her and knelt down beside her as he dipped two of his fingers into the other bowl covering them with green substant and apply it on the bite mark on her neck. She look down at the bowl in her and see a clear green liquid in it, she did as she was told and drank it. When it was in her mouth see nearly about to spit it out but manage to swallow the very bitter liquid.

slowly sitting up, even though she heard Randon's warning Clover wanted to be seated to see her surroundings. holding her dress together with her good hand she didn't dare to try and use her other. she could feel her shoulder throbbing where she had been bitten, but atleast the blood was seeping now. once the wolf was at her side again Clover thought to pull away, but he wasn't trying to hurt her, he was just helping her.

accepting the liquid with a nervouce thanks Clover tensed when she took the bowl with her hurt shoulder. it hurt to hold anything, but she didn't want her breasts revealed like they had been before. gasping again she flinched her shoulder when Randon's two fingers touched the wounds. wanting to make the drink as quick and painless as possible she took a quick wiff of it and didn't smell anything too bad, just herbally. but the smell easily and quick disceved her, as the bitter taste touched her tongue she wanted to spit it out, but that would be rude. swallowing the first gulp of the liquid she looked at the wolf Randon "what is this?".

keeping her comments about the taste to herself she took another quick sip, barely giving it time to touch her taste buds before drinking it down. if the bowl had been any larger she would have thrown the liquid up before she could have even finished the last drop.

"Sorry about the taste it can be very bitter sometimes but only on the first time drinking it, it a type a tea made with special herbs that help to recover blood lost but I can't remember what it call though" said Randon as he finish applying the green substant as he got up while he wripe it off his fingers with a cloth as he walked to near by a chest. The wolf open the lid of the chest and pulled out a light blue gown, "here change into this and then hand me your dress so I may stitched it" said Randon as he turn to her and toss her the gown. The wolf turn away to give her some privacy as he wait for to change.

hearing the word "tea" made Clover want to toss the thing even more. "i don't really like tea" once she'd finished the last drop she handed the bowl to Randon and watched as he stood. she knew she had to get to her grandmother's house soon, or else she would worry all night. "i appreaciate your help, but i have to be going soon" catching the dress with her good hand Clover looked at the material. it was a very nice dress, well made and kept. "you don't have to do this for me," standing from the bed she was on Clover watched as he left for her privacy. it didn't seem like he was willing to listen to her, so she had no other choice but to do as her host asked. after removing her torn dress she, one handed, pulled the new dress on, trying hard not to get the green stuff on her shoulder on the new dress. once she had it on, all she needed to do was lace up the back, but she need help with that.

"Let me help you with that" said the wolf as he lace up the back of the dress, when he was finish he took her torn dress and place it on a table next to the chest. Randon then look into the chest and took out a new cloak that matches to her new gown, the wolf walk toward her and place the cloak on her shoulders then tied the strings in seconds. "I will take you to your grandmother's house since I know the way there after my first encounter of meeting her, and my main reason for helping you is to repay her kindness for helping me after I um...foolishly got my foot caught in a hunter's bear trap a couple of months ago" said Randon as he scratch the back of his head feeling a little embarrass when he finish.

hearing Randon talk about her grandmother Clover's head jumped up. "you're the wolf she told me about?!" watching him scratch his head in embarrassment Clover couldn't help but smile. "she told me about that day, that she was so amazed and scared of you when she'd first found you" stepping closer to him she was so happy. "how did you know i was her grand daughter?" Clover did have some qualities of her grandmother, but she didn't look similar enough for someone to pick her out of a crowd. "Grandmother will be so happy to see you again" smiling lightly up at him she touched his arm.

"Well I tend to survey the perimeter of your grandmother's house making sure no vampires were around and some of those days was when you visited her, so I took the liberty to watch over you from afar when you journey to her house to make sure you were safe on your travels" said Randon as he began to get nervous from her touching his arm, "so...um we best be going then" said the wolf as he look down to her as he wats for reply.

blushing lightly Clover never knew who was watching her the other times she would be walking home from her grandmother's house, but now she knew. nodding her head at Randon's suggestion of going to her grandmother's house she started to walk towards the enterance of his house. this was something she would have to tell her grandmother.

everytime she would visit her grandmother's house she would ask about the most recent sighting of her wolf. everytime Clover was excited to hear about what he'd done or the things grandmother had seen the wolf leave her at her door step. grandmother lived in the middle of the forest because she didn't like the village people, and they didn't like her. Grandmother was kind hearted and would give anyone a chance at anything they wished, while the villagers would be skeptical and would treat new comers harshly. so now that she lived in the forest she would have to walk to the village to get her meats and herbs while Clover would bring her baked goods and vegetables from her guarden. but since she'd saved the wolf he was kind enough to bring her the meats and herbs that she needed in exchange for leaving him some of her tasty treats.

"we can get there faster if I carry you that way I be able to sprint through the forest very, it would be alot safer because those three vampires I killed may have friends that are probally very upset finding their friends dead bodies" said Randon as he pick her up in his arms and he ran out of his house but only to be seen by another werewolf with brown fur as well as wearing the same type of armor Randon wore, it follow them with it eyes as it show a confuse face.

They were soon in front of the girl's grandmother house as it was closing to daylight, "I forgot to ask your name, I didn't learn of what your name quite yet" said Randon as he place the girl back on her feet and waits for her answer.

gasping when Randon picked her up Clover's first through was to hold onto him. the last time he'd gone so fast she'd been very dizzy when they stopped. pressing her face to his chest she thought that if she didn't see it it wouldn't effect her as much. she could still feel the wind pressing against her, but it wasn't so bad really.

when the question about her name came up Clover had to wait until Randon stopped so she could look up at him. feeling him place her on the ground she had to place a hand on his arm to steady herself. "my name is Clover" smiling lightly up at him she slowly turned to look at her grandmother's house. "i can see grandmother pacing inside, i should probably let her know i'm okay" going to go inside the house Clover paused and turned back to Randon. quickly running back to him she leaned up and kissed his cheek before running into the house.

"Clover that a nice name and that probally be a good idea" said Randon as he watch Clover walking to her grandmother's house but he was surprise when she ran back to him and kissed his cheek, the wolf watch her run into the house with a confuse and surprise expression on his face. 'What just happen' thought Randon as he stood outside trying to figure out the feeling he getting, he broke out of his thoughts after he heard someone saying his name as he look to the doorway of the house.

waving her hand Clover's grandmother had a basket in her other hand. it was full of breads, ground herbs, and other treats for a wolf. once Randon had come over Clover's grandmother held the basket towards him "these are for saving my granddaughter" her old shaky voice explained to him. smiling up at him with a doting smile she reached her hand up and petted between his ears "you are a very good wolf".

waiting inside the house Clover watched from afar as her grandmother touched and talked to Randon. she was so happy to have finaly met him, and be able to touch him too. she hadn't been afraid of him, like her grandmother, at first sight. sure he looked like he could be scary, but he was the kindest, gentlest, and beautifulest wolf she'd ever seen.

"Your welcome madam, you're too kind" said the wolf as he accepted the basket of bread and herbs from Clover's Grandmother, Randon look to the window of the elderly woman house where he could clearly see Clover standing behind it as she watch him and her grandmother. "I'll visit you and Clover tomorrow morning with her dress no longer torn" spoke Randon as he run back into the forest as he headed to his home.

Randon was half way there till he sense someone from his right, he stop and look to see that it was his sister Selena. Her fur has familiar coloring like his and she was a bit shorter than him, she approach him casually as she spoke to him "well brother, I see you finally put the moves on that girl" when she was finish Randon only replied with an annoyed and frustrated expression "do you really think that sister, I was only doing my duty as a werewolf by saving her from a group of vampires" the wolf turn his back on Selena as he turn his head to the right to look at her before speaking "you coming Selena, i was planing to roast some deer meat i got on my last hunt this evening" he then took off with Selena right behind as she was a tad hungry and wanted that deer for awhile now ever since he brought it back with him.

The moon was still high up and full as the area of where Clover was saved by Randon was now being occupied by a group of other vampires, several of them was examining their dead kinsmen to see how long it was after their death. "Stinking mongrels even after they won the war against us they still continue to hunt us and prevent us from feeding on the mortals who hates them for what they are!" shouted one of them who stand at the center of the area while the others are either busy examining or looking at him, "um...Arturo" a vampire walk up to the one know as Arturo and continue to speak once close enough to him "I believe you won't like what I'm about to say but it important, the werewolf scent is same one that took the life of your wife Natasha..." the speaking vampire was cut off as his neck was being squeeze by Arturo grasp who look at him with rage in his eyes "you better be speaking the truth Luka, because we been searching for that monster ever since we lost his trail" Arturo tighten his grip as he stare at Luka who manage to nod his head the best he could and was then drop to the ground rubbing his neck. "Finally I may have my revenge for my lovely Natasha, but I don't just want him dead...I want him to suffer before his end comes to him" spoke Arturo as he began laughing while all his followers watch him from where stay stand with grins on their faces as they too waited a long time for this chance.

The next morning Clover dressed herself in her best. With half of her long brown hair pulled back the had placed small white flowers in her loose hair. They smelt lovely and looked lovely in her hair. Dressed in a modest forest green dress she waited by the window for Randon to show. "Oh grandmother, what could be keeping him?" Looking away from the window Clover turned to her grandmother. "Patience Clover, patience. Randon is a wolf of his word, he will be here" rocking back and forth in her chair knitting together some of the softest yarn she smiled lightly.

"Ow!!...I can mend my armor with ease, but fixing a dress is hard" groan Randon as he prick his finger with the needle...again, after another half hour pass the wolf folded the Clover's dress and stuff it in a satchel that he hang it across his chest as it rest on his left thigh.

The wolf was half way to Clover's grandmother house as the satchel flop around while he was running through the woods as the sunlight cast down it light through the open gaps of the canopy above him, he slow his run as he reach the clearing of where the house stand at the center of it. Randon walk toward the house as he look to the window noticing movement being made from inside, he knew it was probably Clover who must have been waiting for him to arrive.

looking back out the window something out of place caught Clover's eyes. "he's here grandmother!" sliding from her place at the window when went to the door quickly, but didn't run. pulling open the door she waved her hand at him as he neared the door. when he finally approached the little cottage she reached her hand out and gently scratched behind his ears. "i'm so happy you're finally here" her smile was light as her heart fluttered in her chest. "will you be able to stay long or are you just here to return my dress?" tilting her head to the side in question her hair slid over her shoulder like a veil making the flowers in her hair more noticable.

When she tilted her head Randon couldn't help but brush as he was glad it doesn't show through his fur, "I don't see why not, I don't have much to do during sun up since the vampires aren't out till night fall" Randon answered as he pull out the folded dress and handed to clover as he then entered easily since the cottage was high enough for him to stand and move around inside.

The wolf bow his head to clover grandmother who nodded back to him in return as she was busy with her knitting, he took a seat on a stool he found and look to Clover with a smile on his face.

Accepting the fixed dress Clover smiled "thank you". Holding the material close she could smell him on it, she would keep this dress forever she was sure. Pulling the dress away from her body she noticed small spots of red, then blushed. He must have worked hard to fix her dress. Quickly coming back to herself she looked at Randon "would you like something to drink while you're here?". Once Clover got his answer she quickly went to her room to place her dress on the bed.

Randon slightly raise his right brow seeing how Clover seem quite cheery in seeing him and even more after seeing her taking a sniff at her dress which causes him to blush even more, he was a tad embarrass about his scent being left on it and was a little surprise from her reaction after smelling it.

The wolf's ears perk up hearing Clover asking him of what he wanted to have as a drink, Randon kindly shook his head refusing her offer as he spoke in a kind and friendly tone "I'm good Clover, but thank you for asking" he watch her head off to her room after hearing his answer still in her happy mood.

Randon lean close to Clover's Grandmother and quietly spoke to her so Clover wouldn't hear them, "is Clover alright? She seem very happy of me being here" he asked her waiting for the old woman answer while checking if Clover was returning.

laughing lightly the old women looked up at Randon "you've made quite the good impression on such a young girl," Clover's gradmother answered smiling "just be sure you stay plane with her and you wont have to worry too much about her". as Clover came back into the room her grandmother went back to her knitting and rocking back and forth in the chair. with her smile never wavering Clover came back and stood a few feet infront of Randon.

"are you going to be able to stay long Randon?" Clover hoped he would. she had so may question about him that she didn't get the chance to ask last night.

"I'll do my best mam" Randon replied to the old woman and move away from her just before Clover return, the wolf ponder for a moment for a answer to her question and soon answered "I don't see why not, it not like those vampires are walking around in daylight." Randon get himself a bit more comfortable in his seat then he look at Clover wondering on how to stay 'plane' with her.
