Katira- http://i.neoseeker.com/mgv/431371-Tabs%20M/371/14/anime_angel_display.jpg

Katira sinned and she new she did. She fell from grace and she new the moment it happened. It was the moment her heart got attached to a human man. She loved him and when it was his time to die she saved him not wanting to let him go. God punished her sending her away from heaven and taking the man's life since it was his time. Katira hated this she no longer had a home and she was not going to hell because her sin was not grate enough to be sent there so she was stuck between the two worlds.

It was night when she was sent away and to add to her misery she had to watch her beloved die. She no longer had her halo though for some reason she still had her wings. As she romed the city with a robe covering her fair pale beautiful body and her 4 white wings she started to notice all the sin and hate in the world. She saw how everyone sinned in some way and it truly scared her.

As Katira walked she could feel her white wings changing they tinted black. She soon found a park that had no one around since it was night so she sat on the ground and with her robe off she looked at her wings. "how can i ever get redemption for my sin. when can i go back home?" she said softly hoping her god could hear her.

Marcus was your everyday guy, an average joe, not much about him makes his stand out over the rest. Not to mention he has normal dreams and ambitions for his future. In plain essence, very normal and generic. However, despite being quite the normal guy, he is quite adaptive. Which means, should there be something out of the ordinary were to be in front of him, which it was happening then and there, he's not the type to simply freak out and scream.

So while passing through the park towards the direction of his home, he overheard Katira's anguish, even though she spoke it softly. Of course, it was not her anguish that caught his attention. It was her four wings on her back. Even from the distance, but not far away, he could tell that it was no props like the ones being sold for Halloween. Not to mention he caught the last part of the wings' color transition from white to black.

It peeked his interest so he approached her.

"Excuse me, miss, but are those wings for real?" he asked her as he lowered himself to match her eye-level.

Katira sighed as she sat there alone. She had no idea what she was going to do. She wanted to go home back to heaven but she new she could never go back unless she got redemption for her sin but how do you get redemption for falling in love and saving a human. She saw no wrong in her actions but she new that there were laws against saving a human when it was there time to die. It was a law she did not aprove of.

She looked up at the sound of a voice. When she quickly stood up her wings moved on there own fluttering some. She then quickly put on her robe and said. "there fake" The one thing about being a fallen you were not suppose to let on that you were at one point an angel and having winds made that hard but most fallen fell straight to hell so nothing was said on how to hide them.

Marcus looked dubious when Katira said her wings were fake. He may not be the easiest person to fool, not to mention the brightest person in existence, but for one thing he was good at was looking beyond the norm of things. Not to mention that he did saw the color change of her wings and how they just fluttered. No fake 'wings' can do that unless they were electronic or somewhat 'high-tech' just for a costume.

"Say what you will, missie, but from my perspective, that ain't no fake wings," he said just as he stood up and look at her, but this time with his head slightly tilted down for she stands a bit shorter than him. "No jokes, and none intended, are you by any chance a real angel being? Or ...hmmm... a fallen angel. perhaps?"

Katira really did not know what to do. She was not sure how she would survive this with wings that clearly were not fake in a world of sin. She new by his face that he new that what she said was a lie so she was stuck with having to deal with her lie. She pulled the robe around her more trying to keep the wings hidden.

"This is not a topic i want to talk about please stop." She new she could not lie to this human but she did not want to just tell him what she was. She looked up at him then backed away some not liking how this was going she felt so small and weak even though she once was an angel.

Marcus merely crooked up an eyebrow as she said those words, words that were born from desperation not to mention were weak of conviction which had to be a lie ..another lie. He had not said a word as he watched the things she did. Just from those actions of hers confirmed what he thought.

She ain't a human being but something else. And the highest probability would be that she is an angel ... with black wings. A fallen perhaps?

"Now listen here, missie," he says as he closed the gap between them to mere inches, "I may not be the smartest person within my circle of known persons, but when I see a truth in front of me, I can be quite stubborn about it. Now, answer me, are you or are you not, an angel being?"

Katira did not know what to do she had heard of humans being pushy and not giving up till they got what they wanted but she did not think it was like this. She was not sure what to do at this point and when he moved closer to her she backed up more only to back up into a tree so she could nto go anywhere.

"why dose it matter?" she asked trying to get off the question of what she was. She was not sure what to do. She wanted to get away she new she could if she flew away but then that would show everyone that they was an angel around.

"You are beginning to become a pain in the neck," Marcus says as he now closed the gap between them and placed both of his hands onto the tree behind her over her shoulders. Regardless of their height difference, he made sure that she won't get away from him .. either by flight or crouch.

"I had asked you a simple, very simple, question. Surely that doesn't take too long for you to answer. But since you're being like this, I may have to use some drastic measures. I could, oh, torture you both physically and mentally, strip you of your clothing regardless of how many people will see, or ... worst yet, I could just reach out to your back and try to 'pluck' a feature off one of your wings."

Katira looked at both arms that were blocking her way out. With how he had her she new she could not fly up to get away and she had little hope that crawling away would work any better. She was not sure what to do with this.

She listened to what he was saying to her about her lying and avoiding answering his question he had about if she was an angel or a fallen. When he said things he might do to her she held her robe closed more and said "No please don't do sinful things to me." She then sighed and said "im a fallen." She was not sure what else to do but tell him the truth she was scared and she did not want to be hurt.

Marcus looks at her very sternly as he weighs those words of admission she just told him .. notably the last part mentioning that she's a fallen. In his mind, the only people or kind of people that would refer to themselves as 'Fallen' are angels .. disgraced or had lost favor and banished to live their lives on Earth. And as far as he knows, one of the indications of that title is the black coloration of their wings.

"Is that so?" he whispered as he used his left hand to hold her chin up for him to see clearly and wholly what she looks like. He turned it left, then right, left again and right again. "I find it quite hard to believe that you could be a fallen, as you say you are. You don't look like someone who would do awful things .. unless you're using this baby face of yours to commit them. Do you?"

Katira was not sure what to do as her chin was being held and she was being forced to look back and forth so he could get a good look at her face. When he spoke saying she did not look like she would do awful things she sighed and said "some things that make you fall are not all awful. I fell in love with a human and saved him from death it was a crime against god and i was banished but ill get my redemption." She said then sighed again as she thought about what happened.

Marcus looked at her dumbfounded. For a while he was speechless after hearing her words, especially about the part of her crime.

"Huh, that's it? That simple thing?" he finally said breaking his silence. "Just because of that, you're a fallen? That's just pathetic. To save someone you love from death is a crime against God? Again, that's just pathetic ... and stupid. I knew it Heaven had too much laws and rules. But to think that thing you did, is considered a crime ... that just takes the icing off the cake."

While he said those words, he yet not let go of her chin.

"So on to the next question," he said as he raised her chin so that she would be 'forced' to look at him. "Do you have any idea or clue on how to get your redemption .. to free yourself from your banishment?"

"It is a crime to safe a human who is ment to die. angels are not aloud to controle life or death and because i did he still had to die and i could not be trusted so i was banished." Katira said not liking that he was calling gods rules pathetic and stupid she then tried to pull away fromt he hand still holding her face so she had to look at him.

As the next question came to her ears her eyes turned sad and she said "i do not yet. but i will find a way. i just have to fine out how to prove to god i will not fall for another human."

Marcus looked at her very intently after she gave her answer to his question. He said not one word but his stare could be said could drill holes to even the strongest steel alloy.

Sighing deeply, he finally let go of her chin and backed away a couple of steps from her. From his new standpoint, he once again looked at her from head to toe, mentally criticizing her physical appearance.

He sighed again before he reached out and took hold of her left wrist with his right hand, turned around and dragged her along with him as he moved away from the tree. "Like it or not, you're not going anywhere looking like that. My place ain't that far from here."

Katira watched Marcus then left with him no fighting since she thought he was trying to help her and she had no where else to go. She did not fight to get away or anything since he seemed to be trying to help her and she really hoped that this help would get her back to heaven. She missed her home and her friends and being able to help people more.

"What do you meen looking like this?" She asked as she looked down at herself well they walked.

"If you haven't noticed, since you haven't, the way you are you're standing out too much, even at a time like this," Marcus said as he looked over his should while still leading the way to his apartment.

"Besides the wings, which I'm sure you can hide it .. though doubtful since I clearly saw it .. people would get a lot suspicious when they see you like that. That's why I've taken it myself to make sure no one else sees you too differently. As for the wings, we'll deal with it later..."

Katira sighed knowing the wings were an issue but she had no way of hiding them. She thought of what she might be able to do but when he said he would deal with them later she nodded trusting him.

"How will you deal with my wings?" She asked after a minute. She was rather curious of what he had planed for her. She fallowed him hoping they would get there soon since she was a little cold.
