Alice was anything but an average girl, considering most weren't responisible for saving the city almost every night, but she did try and do her best to balance her two lives. There was Alice Wood 19 year old girl working part time and enrolled at the community college, and her other life as the Crimson Witch. Aty an early age her parents were worried about her because she always ran a tempature above average but it never seemed to bother her. When she was fourteen she discovered her powers and learned that she could create and control fire with her hands. For the next few years she began training keeping it hidden from her parents. Once she had mastered her powers by the age of eighteen she moved to the city leaving her small town behind, her parents were told she left for school but she had another idea in mind. Upon arriving to the city she began to make her career as a super hero using her powers for good starting with small crimes and slowly moving up into bigger ones.

A year later Alice had finaly gotten use to her two lives along with the pace of the city. She lived alone in a small apartment in one of the better parts of the city. Because of her two lives she hadn't found a partner mostly because it would expose her secert or place him in danger, but she had gotten use to being alone knowing it was to help others. It was a basic day and she had just returned home from school as the sun was setting. She fixed herself a quick meal and changed into her costume leaving alice to stay at home while the Crimson Witch patroled the city. She left her apartment using a window in the back and climbed uponto the roof. She began her rounds leaping from roof top to rooftop using small burst of fire for longer distances. She was hopingfor a quiet night because she had been running low on sleep after two straight nights of crime fighting.

Zack an adult male of 23 had a sad up bringing at the age of 10 his parents where taken from him. Every time he closed his eyes till he was 12 he could see them telling him to run, run far away. But he couldn't he was frozen in place as he watched his mother being violently raped his dad forced to watched till they finished using his mother. When they finished the men handed Zack a large knife and looked at him they told him to kill his father and they would let him leave. His dad looked at him gag in his mouth and tears rolling down his face and nodded his head wanting him live he was willing to give his life for his son. Zack slowly walked over to his dad and fell to his knees, on of the men grabbed his hand and put it to his dads neck and forced the blade across his neck. They took the blade and throw him outside the house and told him "run kid run and hold these memories and remember good guys never win.

The next few years passed and he was homeless he walked for what seemed like forever. Holding onto his memories of that night till one night he was sleeping, and his powers awoken he woke up miles away from where he had fallen asleep. As that day went on he started teleporting from place to place with out knowing how. But he was being watched the next night when he fell asleep a group of men took him. They forced him awake one a island that wasnt marked on the map and from that day he was trained to use a bow and arrow, using his skills with a bow and arrow and his skill to teleport that he learned to control over the years. By the time he was 23 he had stolen money from almost every bank in the world and had and a large suite on top of one of the larger buildings in his town. He was know to most of the world as The Black Shadow he was now a theif and assassin for hier.

Night had come and he was on a run to meet the person who had payed him. He had killed a whole family and left the house burning as requested, and Zack was now going to be collecting the other half of his payment. He was teleporting from building to building his powers let him teleport far but not from one side of the world to the other. It was much safer for him to teleport short distances as he ported building top to building top as he moved towards the building he was going to be getting payed.

Alice had ben patroling the city when she saw the smoke rise as the house burned, she was on her way to investigate but she caught a quick glance at Zack from the distance. She knew who he was even from a distance. She had been try to get him for a while now but never seemed to be able to get close enough. She turned around and began chasing him doing her best to stay unnoticed by The Shadow. Normal criminals were pretty easy to take down but super powered ones wee harder but if she took hi don it would improve the saftey of the city more than some drug dealer or theif. Her plan was to try and follow him to his location and take out with ever had hired him too. To stay unnoticed she was just rely on her agility and speed to make the gaps between the roofs. She was also using the chase to try and figure out what his powers were exactly, she was oo far away to seclearly so to her it look like he was just running fast .

Slowly she began to close the distance between them, se had wished that she was more rsted for tonigt but se culdmiss a chance to tae dwn one of the city's most known superpower criminal. She was doing good keeping up with out her powers till she cam across a gap just too big for her to jump. She risked using her powers using the smallest amount possible she could get away with. Her only hope was that he was too distracted to not notice her. Her whole plan for getting him was bulit around surprise knowing a direct fight would be harder for her to win.
