Vincent walked alone along the road. The sun had just set and the sky was filled with the last light of the day. His mind was filled with the thoughts of her. The woman who's scent had caught his attention. The unseen woman in the wagon the night before.
Vincent had followed the wagon to its destination, the castle on the hill, the previous night. Vincent was filled with joy when he learned whom the woman was. The child he had seen so many years ago. Now a woman in her right, and kept untouched by men.
His heart, if it still beat, would have soared. Tonight he would pay a visit to this woman in the castle, this untouched beauty he would claim as his. A smile crept across his face as he walked slowly towards the castle. Tonight no one would stand in his way.
He made his way down the road. He wore a white shirt with tan slacks. A long flowing black cloak at his back. His skin was pale and his eyes were a bright brown color. If one looked closely they would think they glowed.
Vincent reached the castle walls and calmly walked up them, then made his way into the tower of the princess. He walked up the side of it, then dropped into the balcony intentionally loud so as to arouse her suspiscions.
