Deep into the forest in an area untouched by civil humans, lived a wolf pack unlike and beings have seen before. With the ability to transform from human to wolf in the flicker of a flash. They are a rare breed, keeping their distance from civilization and other humans.

It was mating season, and with a new leader, came a new female mate, chosen from the pack to help bare new pups and help keep order. The Alpha female to the Alpha male. Second in command, and following behind her mate lovingly. This has been how their world was for the years that they have existed, and was how it would be for many years to come. The female wolf who had been chosen as Alpha female was all black, her long shaggy tail brushed against the dust as she curled in a ditch to relax in the shade. Her eyes were closed and her nose was tucked towards the ground as she laid tiredly curled and relaxed. Her black ears however were erect and perked, listening for noise as she rested.

She was avoiding the Alpha male of the pack, having no interest in being his mate.

Dea went about looking for the mate he had picked. He as he finally found her he came up behind her from a down wind and finally called her.
